   We had been there the first week they were open and the meal was just ok. We came back at the urging of a friend who said that the food and service and beer was good. The beer choices for us were ok. The food this time was good but not the "OMG" good. The vegetable choice was broccolini and was really good and a large portion. I know, "Drinking Beer and having a Breaded Tenderloin Sandwich and you want a vegetable?" But it was very good. Overall I would come back but it is not a must return place. Twenty Tap and Blind Owl have a much better beer selection and their food choices are better. Service was just ok. Our server had a big table besides us and we had to find him to get a second beer.

   Lived in Bloomington and love Upland. Server was great. Kitchen is still trying to perfect their standard dishes. Burger order was mixed up and seemed to be missing the seasoning. We will go back for another chance.

    I had a group of nine people meeting for brunch at 11:30, and other restaurants were booked up at that time. Upland set us up with a large table and included extra chairs for coats and purses. The service and food were great, and there were very few other customers around us. It felt almost like we had the place to ourselves. It was a perfect spot for a quiet place for Sunday brunch without the crowds.

    Busy Saturday night. We made a reservation and they took us right in and sat me, my wife, and kids. Waiter was busting his butt and very attentive. Overall great first impression for us. We will return. Thank you.

    Did not like our seating. Rounded enclosed booth where when someone needed to get out several people had get out. We voice our dissatisfaction but they made no attempt to seat us in a different location. My pulled pork sandwich was cold when I received it. Menu was a little strange with descriptive words like cv sauce and chow chow. We had no idea what these items were we could make a determination on what to order. Waitress did explain these term however.

    The server didn’t present the check. He only told us how how much it was and indicated that he could take the payment and if we’d like he would bring us a receipt. It was awkward. I prefer to review the tab before I pay.

    Quality and amount of food was not worth the price. Had the Irish stew that was on special for Saint Patrick’s day. $12 bowl should have been $6 for what we received. My husband got the pork nachos for $15 and the pork was dry and flavorless. Love going to Upland for beer but guess we will just stick with pizza and it’s always good.

    The food was wonderful. The service started out great but ended up not so good. The server took the ketchup from our table without asking if we were done with it, which we weren't. He didn't ask if we wanted another drink. He also remarked that the desserts weren't worth ordering. Will go back for the food and hope to get a better server. It appeared that maybe he was the only server, however the restaurant wasn't that busy.

    Overall great experience. Food quality very good. Salmon BLT gets an A+. Pretzel so good, perfect queso and mustard, nice that the pretzel wasn't overly salty. Depending on where you sit, spotlights on ceiling are too bright, shine right in your eyes. Could stand to be turned down a few notches. Servers were great, friendly.

    Ask for our food to be staggered out between the appetizer, salad and entree. They brought the appetizer, and within minutes brought both the salads and entree. We specifically asked for there to be a delay in when items were brought out, so things did not get cold, and that did not happen. If you’re wanting your food fast, that’s a plus, but not in this case. This was our second time eating there, and felt rushed to get in and out both times. Also, the first time eating there, the server was super pushy in trying to get us to take beer to go, even after politely declining the purchase 4-5 times. We will go back, as the food was good. But would like for their servers to be more in tune with their customers.

    Food was creative and tasty! Lots of vegetarian choices. My daughter loved the Thai Tofu salad. House made southwest tofu with lots of flavor. Pizzas were good and last time my husband was here he said the burger was fantastic. Will definitely be back! Beers were good and the sours were quite sour if you like them that way.

    Maybe it was a bad night but service was horrible and we had to watch other people be seated before us and we even had a reservation. Every single plate of food was ice cold and when we mentioned it to our waiter he causally goes” oh yeah we’ve had other people complain tonight about the same thing” shrugs his shoulders and walks away….. don’t think we will be retuning back

    Thank you for providing an excellent experience and accommodating our large group. We had special requests and it was a busy Saturday dinner rush but everything was wonderful. Service was fantastic and the food offerings were varied and creative. Everyone in our party was happy with the meal.

    Our server took our app order, delivered it and then never came back for us to order our food. We had to go get him and ask him to order. Then we had a couple of substitutions (no carrots, add a side of Mac and cheese and no chow chow on sandwich). He didn’t write those changes down and those changes weren’t made when food came out. At that point we decided it wasn’t worth it to wait again to make it right. Other food was good. Went to women’s restroom and there were no hygiene trash cans in any of the stalls! Without getting graphic, that is a MAJOR problem. I don’t normally review but was hopeful someone will read this and at least fix that immediately.

    Tried on a date night with the wife. Customer service was excellent. For an appetizer we tried the "Pretzel and Beer cheese" which was pretty good. It's a whole pretzel. I got a beer cheese cheeseburger, and it was a 6/10. Didn't have much flavor to it, kind of bland.
