Great service (our server was Valerie), gracious co-owner, Ali, who came over after our meal to make sure we were happy with everything. All the food (& wine) we ordered was delicious. My friend & I got the muscles and our other friend got the butternut squash ravioli. I substituted the garlic broccoli for the fries. We also got the chocolate souffle for dessert. Yum! The space was very pretty! I wish them lots of success!
Our food was only fair st the most.
We had a terrific dinner, kind and complete service, and a delicious dinner! Two of us had vegetarian meals. I had butternut squash ravioli and my husband had angel hair pasta (a very generous portion). Both were yummy. Our friends ate a chicken pasta dish and I have forgotten the other order. All were filled with flavor and very satisfying meals. A nice chianti complemented our choices. We shall return!
Beautiful, relaxing ambiance & decor. Really enjoyed!
Great place to impress your "date", celebrate an event... or a nice glass of wine.
Service and food was exceptional!
Superb service, menu had a lot of options, food was delicious and served quickly!
Unless you know exactly where you are going...it is difficult to find...once inside, the decor is nice...the food portions are very small for the money...my friend ordered the "meatballs"...and there were literally 2 tiny bites on the plate ...but the worst part was the older gentleman who was our waiter had the worst bad breath or body odor ....very distracting to the point of loosing our appetite...
Great people and food. Very helpful staff. Definitely a great date night
Good experience overall but does not accept open table reservations. I’ve reserve twice through this app and The restaurant is always unaware of the reservations.
I really love this place. They have a Great food selection and wine flights.
Great food, friendly staff! I would recommend this place.
Love this neighborhood treasure! Great food offerings-especially the small plates.
Good wine selection. This last visit had the most amazing shishito peppers and butternut squash ravioli.
Tarzan has long needed a restuarant like this!
Unwind is a great little gem with an excellent dining menu. The service and food was very good. Nice to have a local restaurant to have in the valley area with delicious options.
Unwind is delicious and amazing. The dishes are so flavorful that every bite is better than the last. The ambience is an eclectic & comfortable mix of firniture and cozy nooks and interesting tables and lighting. Enjoy!
Had a wonderful experience here for dinner for the first time on Sunday night. The cheesy Brussels sprouts, butternut squash ravioli, and the lamp chops were delicious! And make sure you get chocolate soufflé for dessert if it’s an option!
Warm and lively experience. Many shared plate and delicious options. Sticky shrimp and tuna tartare tacos outstanding. Waiters helpful with several small wine tastings and suggestions.
Great food, amazing wine. Layout of tables is a bit strange
Food mediocre. Fries total mush
Service was very slow. Understaffed. Wine and good were okay, but not worth going back for.
Great happy hour. Delicious food.
Fabulous hidden gem. Not sure I want you to know where it is. Food is marvelous. Decor surprising and service friendly.
I sent to UNWIND the first time for happy hour and was so pleased I returned for dinner. Happy Hour was for pre-Birthday celebration and dinner was to cap off my Birthday celebration. They truly made me feel special, and the food/service was primo.
We arrived timely for our Open Table reservation, and the host said that there was available seating, and that if the reservation was made after 4 PM we were not included in the reservation book. After complaining they sat us at a seat by the door, and with the cold air from the constant opening of the door, it was not a very enjoyable evening.
Aside from the aforementioned, the food was good, but the service left something to be desired. I still don’t understand why they use Open Table, and ignore a confirmed reservation.
Had a reservation, showed up on time. Manager says "they are overbooked" but will have a table in 5 minutes. Shows us the table and then proceeds to take another wine order from them. We left, never to return. Party of 6 probably cost them 300+. Hope the cheap wine the table was drinking was worth it.
Will be sure to spread the word.
we love the back table. service is very good. food is very good.
We went there to celebrate my sister's birthday and had a wonderful time. Unwind is a beautifully decorated restaurant that is very cozy and feels like your own living room.
The food was great but the service wasn’t so great. It’s a small place and hard to maneuver.
The restaurant had incredible service and the food was good. I liked the lighting, wine selection and neighborhood bar/restaurant in Tarzana.
Unwind is an amazing cute hidden gem. The food is fabulous and staff is kind, attentive and courteous!! ❤️
Very nice place to enjoy good friends and family. Food was fantastic
When I arrived and informed the host I had an open table reservation, he grunted something but did not appear to log in my arrival. When he finally led me to a table, I was to be seated next to a woman who smelled REALLY bad. I went to the rest room and informed my server about the problem he said”ok”, that he’d move me. When I exited the restaurant, he had not moved me, so I had to return to the original table. At that point the foul small made it impossible for me to enjoy eating dinner,
So I exited the restaurant and called them from the parking lot to inform them that I would not be eating there, and to kindly cancel my reservation. 2 things: 1. The restaurant was very dark and cold. 2. It was nearly empty. I don’t understand why I had to wait by the door to be acknowledged I arrived. The host nodded hello and proceeded to bus dirty dishes from the bar. Again, the restaurant has maybe 4 parties in it, not including 2 or 3 people at the bar. I did not eat there, so please disregard my food ratings.
Amazing! I love that the owner came over to ask how things were going on my lovely date with my boyfriend!
Great meal as usual! Had the Parmesan sole with herb risotto, so yummy!
All was good until the manager decided to reupholster the some of the cushions and use a staple gun in the dinning area which turned a nice evening with friends into a complete downer and kinda ruined the night. So doubt I will go back
Great restaurant. Amazing food, wine selection, service, ambiance and vibe. Really special addition to valley restaurant scene. Must try.
Way too noisy. Won't go back. We could not hear eachother. Food and service jut ok.
A hidden gem, love this place.
Food was disappointing. Wort a try, but would not go back.
Phenomenal. Just phenomenal. The food is delicious, the wine list is great. Overall experience is an A+
Terrible service. One waiter. Two uninterested bar tenders. Food very bland under cooked ravioli. Balsamic on deviled eggs nasty. Cheese bored gross meat choices.
