Untitled is simply fantastic. The food is phenomenal (the crispy pork ribs are an absolute must), the drinks are all spectacular, and the service is pleasant. Can’t wait to come back!
Amazing !!!!!!!and amazing
The great things:
- The ambiance is amazing
- The three rooms make for a unique dining experience
- The live music is fantastic
- The bar is incredibly cool loooking
That's where it ends...
- The waiter had the attitude of "It's your pleasure I'm serving you"
-The waiter knew NOTHING about the menu
- We had to wait 15 minutes for our reservation/table to be ready and the place was not packed
- The food was, at best, mediocre,
- The menu is limited
-The drinks were terrible
In all - look elsewhere for a place to celebrate, eat, and drink
Excellent service (Benjamin), good food, fantastic live music and entertainment. Definitely going back!
Meeting up with a long distance friend
I wouldn’t go there for dinner, as the food wasn’t very impressive. However, the ambience and energy is wonderful. They have a live band, which was fantastic. They played a variety of pop and r & b hits. Definitely worth it for the music and drinks.
We went to the restaurant because the website showed that they offer entertainment (the night we went there was a band and burlesque show). But it turns out there are many different rooms and were seated in the "Whisky Library" which offered no entertainment at all. We ate quickly and left. The food was fine. Nothing spectacular, but fine.
The experience was disappointing. Although the downstairs dining room was a nice space, when the live band started playing, halfway through our meal in the next, larger dining room, the sound was terrible. Terrible because our dining room was playing music on a sound system that clashed with the live music from the band. Imagine listening to 2 different sources of music playing at the same time. I am not an audiophile but this was a major case of bleeding sounds. I asked the server is she could have the dining room sound turned off but she did not acknowledge that the sound was bleeding and did not understand what the problem was. Eventually I spoke to a manager who agreed the sound was terrible and bleeding and would talk to the "higher ups" about this problem going forward. He agreed that the sound was especially bad at our table (fairly close to large open doors to the lobby that lead to the larger dining room with the band) but did not offer to move us to an empty table further away from the open doors although our dining room was 80% empty. Probably because we were mostly done with our meal. He did comp 1 drink for us. Too bad,...nice space, good concept (supper club), food was ok but the noise was horrific and ruined the experience.
We arrived and the doorman our front acted more like a secret service agent. He asked what we were doing there and was very uninviting. That was a pretty poor first impression. We had the typical rookie server mistake where she was all over us for the first 10 minutes and then was hardly around. There was some mix up between the restaurant and this app because the main thing we went for (salmon) had not been served for a week. My lamb was EXCELLENT! My wife had the walleye. It was fair at best. It came with a side of rice that was a mix between plastic and feet. I had two glasses of wine. One was good the other was just at its turning point. Overall pretty disappointing experience.
Untitled Supperclub was an enchantingly wonderful experience that I got to share with my significant other. It’s ambiance and service left an excellent impression.
I had the grilled steak and broccoli. It was juicy and tender.
Our waiter William and the rest of the staff was amazing. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
Didn’t seat me where I wanted to! Slow service
Went to see band which was very good. Server was friendly but slow. Deviled eggs and cheese board were good but took almost an hour to get the eggs. Ordered the pork shoulder which had not come after almost 2 hours. Server said it was missed or forgotten. When it came it was inedible. All fat and pretty disgusting. Desert was good.
Visiting Chicago, and was recommended to come here. So glad we did!
Took family from the UK and we had a ball!
Waited awhile for a dinner table. Wished the reservation would’ve specified what room we were going to be seated in. However, the staff was nice and accommodating.
The singer was amazing!!!
Service was atrocious from not having our reservation (although had already sat one from our party,) wait for courses inordinately long, server had part of order wrong and did not offer to fix. . . I could go on! Will not be back.
Overall a good place, with caveats.
First the positive. The atmosphere is top-notch. Very nicely decorated with different vibes in each of the different rooms. The bartenders are excellent at mixing drinks. The live entertainment is a great feature for the restaurant. Good variety on the menu and the food was well prepared, but realize that everything is a la carte. The hostess staff was friendly and accommodating, but they did inform us that accommodating our party of 4 was taking a while because we were 9 minutes late for our reservation.
Service…Oh the service. They put the S L O in SLOW! The visits from our wait person were so few and far between that we got bored waiting for her. My drink had been empty for 30 minutes before I had the opportunity to order another one. The menu says that the dishes are "designed to be shared." That's code for "The food will not come out at the same time." Our food came out one dish at a time and there was 5+ minutes between dishes, including sides.
Everyone like their food. I ordered the ribeye, which does not come out as it is described on the menu (it's really just a broiled piece of meat). While cooked properly, the flavor was just eh, and considering that it is the most expensive item on the menu I would avoid it.
BOTTOM LINE: I know that it sounds like I'm complaining a lot, but except for the SLOW service and my uninspired steak, the place is great, and my wife and I agreed that we would go back.
IMPORTANT HINT: Some of their tables have a 2-hour time limit. When the time limit is up, they will make you leave the table so someone else can have it. If you do not want such a limit make sure you request a No-Time-Limit-Table when you make your reservation.
One thing we didn’t
In more than one occasion all waiters and service stuff were gone and there was none to even ask for more water. We waiting around 15 to order a drink due to this issue. Our waitress never asked us how the food was or how was the night going or if we were enjoying the night or say anything other than “Do you want to order something else?” They need to do better training because that tells me management is failing.
Kyra was great! Love Thursday night Burlesque. Untitled is always a go-to spot for when friends visit from out- of town
Excellent food. Only caution make sure if you want to see tye show especially in Thursday night call ahead and request a table on the showroom floor. 150.00 dolar minimum they dont tell you when making the reservation. Oh yeah get the name of the person who setup the raervation. Seems to make a difference when there is a problem. See AJ
Hostess attempted to seat us at the worst table in a large, empty room. Why? Who knows. Waiter reeked like cigarettes which was off putting. Slow service. Food was good, but not fabulous. Won’t be back.
Went with a group of 8
the space is nice with separate rooms and bars.
We were seated in a nice booth
Food was decent but some dishes were better than others - they said they all large plates were for sharing but there was no portions or attempt to cut into shareable sizes of meat, fish or chicken. Essentially, you have cut it up all yourself .
Service was lax
Everything took a long time
Nobody refilled water or checked on drinks between
Pricey for what you get.
Was there for a business meal with a small group and was able to order a few things. The best was the pork ribs and the short ribs were a second. Everything was great, except I isn't get my drink order until after dinner but they did give me a free dessert. The Decor is nice and cozy, with a classy old fashion vibe, but the most impressive is their 500 bottle whisky list.
Untitled was a great place to go for a show and dinner. It is a great venue with variety. The food was awesome. Will definitely go back again!
This was a repeat visit for us and we’ve always enjoyed ourselves. We decided to take our daughter there for her birthday. Big mistake. It was a Monday night, no music, no ambiance and zero kitchen or wait staff. Waited 30 mins for a drink order and then it was wrong. Good came minus requested accompaniments. Couldn’t get waitress back. She kept apologizing and saying it wasn’t her fault. Dessert and coffee became mia after 30 mins. My steak was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Asked for manager, never came. Bill delivered complete with desserts included which we didn’t get. ABSURD!!! Worst birthday place ever. Worst food, service and attitudes on a Monday night.
It was our anniversary, they sat us closer to the stage. Live music on Friday started at 8, it was loud, but the band Hush Train was so good!! We ordered apps, shared plates & dessert! It was the perfect place for a fun date night, especially since all of the steakhouses we've been to seem the same! Next time we visit Chicago we will be back & in the meantime share the recommendation with friends!!
We didn't have food but had to rate to move on, so to be fair, I put 5 stars for food.
It was a bit strange. We arrived and they made us sit and wait for the rest of the people. Then they took us to a back dining room. Then we explained we wanted only drinks so they took us to the front room. But then they came up to us and said there was not open seating so we couldn't sit at a table (the place was empty at 6PM). So... we ended up in the middle of the room at some chairs and pulled up some seating for the rest of the group. Odd experience.
Our meals were fantastic, service was great and the style and feel of the place is great.
A great evening, meal and music. We drove up from Indianapolis for one night to take our two teenage kids to enjoy the Marvin Gaye tribute music. We noted our short visit to the area for this event in our reservation and they put us in the front row! The music, bourbon and lamb chops were great. My thanks to the Chef! The kids really enjoyed the evening and now enjoy a new kind of music.
The staff were exceptional including Toni my waitress and my waiter who cleared my table with the speed of Mercury
This is not an everyday dining venue but definitely a place for special occasions! The noise level was a little loud in the rooms where the band was not playing and at times made it difficult to hold a conversation. Lovely ambiance and service!
Great job...will b back!
Dj made a great dance ambiance with oldies hits at main stage. Great night.
We loved the food and atmosphere! The Rockefeller clams were amazing. The music energetic and fun. Thank you for a fun evening.
Super cool atmosphere, live entertainment, great food and cocktails in a really unique setting. For a date or special occasion (leave the kids at home) this is a great place. We've been here many times and love it.
