   Noise level in front room by entrance was bad. Surely a rug on the hardwood floor would help.

   A beautiful visit. Did the tasting and had lunch. I had the salad and husband had the chowder. Both were delicious.

   Our first experience at Unsworth was exceptional; this time was the opposite. As others had arrived before us, there was no record of our reservation. It took half an hour to get a glass of water. When food finally arrived, it was ice cold. Everyone can have an off night but it'll be a long while before we visit again.

   Food was average, nothing special, a bit bland. This place was recommended to us, and we were underwhelmed.

   It’s always a lovely experience at Unsworth Vineyard restaurant. Our most recent visit was as good as always. The service is consistently good, as is the food.

   I made reservations for Easter Sunday over a month in advance. When we arrived from our long drive from Qualicum Beach, we were shown to our table on the far side with the fireplace in the corner. One of us facing a wall. We were the only people on that side of the restaurant for almost our meal. The other side of the restaurant was bright and sunny and we could hear people having a great time. Our side was dark and sad. Nothing indicated that it was Easter. No special dining options. No flowers on the tables. Nothing. Same menu, different day. My husband had the steak which was full of tendons and grizzle and I had the vegetarian burger option. It was crumbly and extremely dry. We opted to pass on the vast dessert menu. Not worth the drive. Sorry, but we will not be visiting again for sometime.

   We were in a small room off the left side of the entry. It was very loud but we live in a rural area so we might be more sensitive to the noise level. The food was wonderful as always.
