The service and food was great. A little busy with a tournament going on, at least the way the restaurant is set up.
Service was not great. We made a reservation and it didn’t seem to matter, we waited as long as everyone else. Took forever to get water refills and our food. They didn’t seem very organized. Food was ok. Wouldn’t go back outside of Portland dining month.
Great restaurant and close to the convention center. We had the brisket and the ribs and they were some of the best barbecue we have had in Portland. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a good meal with great service
Overall a nice experience with good service, atmosphere and food. The restaurant just opened in December 2019. Our service was excellent and overall staff very friendly. Food was good, although steak not presented as ordered and a touch dry. Their specialty is meat, so that was a bit disappointing...but ok. Atmosphere is nice. Noise level was acceptable, but they were not at capacity. Bar is nice scene with seating at bar or nearby comfortable furniture. The side dish of corn chowder was excellent. Salmon was excellent. We would go back to explore other meat dishes. The feel and tempo gave the impression they had just opened and were working out the kinks. Still worth a try for sure.
Seven co-workers had a business lunch at Unity Q'in. We all loved the decor and feel of the hotel. However, all seven of us had meals not properly prepared. Food was cold, fatty, and dry. Not broken, needing nothing more than a little tweaking. Hoping this feedback is taken in a positive light.
One of the best experiences I have had in Portland. The people were fantastic, the food was excellent and the prices were shockingly affordable, cheaper than Red Robin. I am already trying to figure out how to come back.
Outstanding service. Witstaff were amazing. Great managers who come by the table. Cocktails were excellent. Food is very good. Great new place in the convention center area.
Great new place - the food is very good and has a wide range of options. We shared sides family style and it was perfect. I'll come back - good new option before a Blazer game.
Fabulous ambiance and intriguing food, expertly prepared. UnityQ has a wonderful Smokey aroma walking in, and the whole place has a woodsy feel. Warm and efficient service, and artistic tableware.
Began with grilled oysters which had a sweet ponzu glaze, sliced thin so you could enjoy each juicy piece.
For entrees we had smoked chicken which came out with crispy skin, juice meat and a sweet smoky flavor. Served with creamy coke slaw which was not too spicy.
Grilled salmon done well served with miso glaze and book choy + spicy fried rice. Asking for that on the rare side would be smart.
Harvest grain salad was bountiful with generous portions of corn, cauliflower, arugula and a sweet cherry vinaigrette.
Definitely order the elotes grilled corn on cob, perfectly balanced with chili aioli and cojita cheese.
Wish our appetite was bigger because there was so much more to try in the bbq fusion concept. We will be back for sure!
My wife and I stopped for dinner before a Blazers game, which is literally just one block away. The food and service was great. We ordered the brisket, mac&cheese, asparagus, & chowder. It was very delicious. The brisket really tasted smoky and juicy like BBQ should taste. I would suggest separating the restaurant dining area from the hotel lobby a little more. Also, provide the same kind of BBQ sauce they have at Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood, Texas. That was our favorite BBQ in Texas before moving out here before moving out here. Their BBQ sauce is the best I've ever had. God, I miss it.
Anyhow, we are season ticket holders and plan to make this our regular stop before going to the games.
The barbecue choices are excellent! We had excellent service. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant!
