Excellent vegetarian food! Huge vegan selections. Brought my in-laws from Taiwan and they enjoyed the food too. We ordered selections from the Dim Sum and regular entrees menu. Great service too. Only suggestion is maybe to play some soft dining music.
This was the best vegetarian restaurant I’ve ever been to! Everything we ordered was amazing. Highly recommend the sesame seitan. The staff was very attentive and accommodated all needs. One person in our party could not eat anything with eggs, they accommodated. 100% will be back soon
Friendly , nice decor, & great to have s vegan restaurant near the Barnes and PMA.
The dim sum buns delicious, the greens very tasty and mushrooms , flavorful.
Wonderful place to eat after the art museums close.
This place is such a hidden gem! It looks like a typical shopping center Asian fusion restaurant from the outside, but inside the food is shockingly good. It is all vegetarian or vegan and let me tell you- you really can’t tell! I’ve tried so much on their menu. The mushu, dim sum, even the vegan shrimp dumplings are excellent. It’s also very clean and a BYOB- which is my favorite part! I think this is my new favorite vegan spot
Amazing Vegan restaurant! Great food and atmosphere!
The servers did a good job but the place is perpetually understaffed
Great selection, special gluten free menu, great taste veg Asian food
The food was DELICIOUS! I’m chinese, and thought their food was very authentic. The staff was also so kind - they let us stay there for an extra hour while it was raining hard outside. Great vibes, great food, 10/10!
Food and ambience are amazing and well worth multiple and frequent visits
My only comment would be that when busy it takes a bit of time bus the tables.
It was okay but nothing great. Waited about 10 minutes for Server which is not that big of a deal but they don't give you any appetizers or even water until. Server did not speak English at all I don't think :-(. Went for vegan options specifically and did get a few maybe would have gotten more if there wasn't a language barrier.
My brother discovered this neighborhood spot in Fairmount. This place is special. Why? You very rarely find a vegetarian Chinese “”clean eating” place that is truly authentic. If you’re a vegetarian you know what I mean. Every single dish we ordered was delicious. We were a group of 7 celebrating a friend’s birthday. From the Dimsum to the entrees, there wasn’t one dish that we didn’t like. My brother and sister-in-law live is Singapore and are world travelers. So they know when it comes to Asian cuisine that is truly amazing. This place is worth a trip to Fairmount away from Chinatown. Abel the manager is attentive and all of the servers and staff are friendly and hard working. Be sure to visit. They‘ve only been open for five months.
The vegetarian aspect was good. The rice wrappers were chewy and not up to standards.
Huge variety of dishes. Beautifully plated. Our non-vegan friends loved it too.
Amazing, authentic food - have never been able to have soup dumplings before as a vegetarian (in other restaurants they always have meat) and it was amazing to finally get to try them. Also, the menu is HUGE and has pictures and makes you want to order everything! We loved the food we got, especially the taro and the general tso's seitan, and will be coming back for more!
Everything was delicious and well prepared. There were so many vegan options to choose from.
Unit Su Vege is literally the best restaurant for vegetarians (religious or converted). The menu has a lot of options, so we try something new every time we go there. The waitresses are so kind and genuine and smiley! Our go-to meal is Scallion Pancakes, Pan-fried dumplings (with lots of sauce), Lo Mein, Ho Fun Singapore style, and the juices with the jelly. :) Definitely a must-have if you're in the Fairmount area.
First time diner. Food was excellent and so was service. And we had a meeting where everyone could be heard. We will all be back
Amazing vegetarian Chinese in the Art Museum area. I will be back!!!
So glad to have a good Chinese vegetarian restaurant in Philadelphia. I have tried the others and have been disappointed. Unit Su Vedge has many dim sum choices. I would NOT recommend the soup dumplings (tasted like raw dough); everything else we ordered was well cooked and delicious.
Good vegetarian food. A little too much emphasis on providing items that taste like meat. I am a vegetarian and do not care to eat items that taste like meat.
