About

This restaurant is permanently closed. Tucked around the corner in a 1950’s building that has served a multitude of community purposes, Unit-D Pizzeria offers a comfortable space for guests to enjoy a chef-driven menu designed around high quality ingredients and a wood-fired oven. All of the products and ingredients you see on the menu have either been lovingly crafted in house or carefully selected for their artisan origins. While Neapolitan pizza is the main act, our salads, wood-fired starters and meat & cheese boards are incredibly popular.

Our happy hour menu (5-7pm) includes a variety of wood-fired apps and small plates, draft beers and house wines, all for $5 and under. On Mondays, you can come in for $2 craft pints all night!

Probably the least talked about pizza place when Austin talks pizza and it’s a shame. It needs to be right at top if not above the usual suspects. Amazing and inventive pizzas. Good happy hour specials. Great and consistent service. We always suggest Unit D.

We wanted to love it... but it was lackluster. Honestly cannot recommend for the price.

We roll with a 1 year old kiddo these days, and our server absolutely came along for the ride! The happy hour specials were great, there was a high chair for our son, and I really liked my pizza (mushroom & cream sauce). My husband's pizza was pretty spicy- the sausage one (and he likes spicy foods but this was almost over the top). Trickiest part is probably parking because the lot is teensy and a dead end. But overall, we live nearby and definitely plan on coming again!

This is a cheerful and stylish venue serving innovative pizzas and small plates. We went early on a recent Tuesday evening and before we left (well-fed and pleased) the place was full. Not bad for a very chilly early weekday!
My dining partner and I had a lovely bean dip sprinkled with aromatic and brightly flavored crispy bits of sundried tomato, pistachio and citrus peel along with a dish of wood-fired olives. The olives were a revelation...the heat brought out a very appealing flavor burst. Both the bean puree and the olives were fine companions to our dry rose wine. The pizza we shared was the tomato pizza with added prosciutto and a handful of baby arugula...delicious!
I cam happily recommend this place. You will be well-looked after both in service and in the food they serve. My companion and I will return soon!

Awesome! The meat & cheese charcuterie board were delicious, as were the Shebang red wine and the greens pizza (add prosciutto)!

The fried green tomatoes were very tasty. The meatball plate was delicious! The primo pepperoni pizza was good but a little too spicy for my taste. However, my husband loved it! The server felt bad that it was too spicy for me and brought out complimentary homemade ice cream. The ice cream was delicious and served on top of peanuts and caramel sauce. I think it also had some kind of marshmallow sauce. We definitely had a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to go back and try other pizzas.
