   Absolutely terrible. The only okay part of the meal was the chicken. It was a little dry but still okay. The salmon came and was not fresh tasting and had a very foul fishy taste to it. The cobbler we had was definitely not good. We sent it back. The kicker after a terrible meal was the coffee having coffee grounds in it. Instead of an apology we continued to get excuses. I tried to get in contact with the GM however have not had any luck. It was so disappointing and we will not be back. Hopefully the GM will contact me so we can speak about this experience.

   I was looking forward to going to the Union in The Bobby. The hotel is super cool and so is the restaurant. Great atmosphere for a date night. The menu was VERY limited unfortunately. I had pressed chicken and it didn’t look good or taste good. We were very disappointed with the quality of all of our food. Not worth the money. Service was good but didn’t make up for the food.

   I had such a great time at dinner last week! The menu is a little limited but was very tasty! The service was phenomenal and the atmosphere is super gorgeous. Every time I have been here everything gets better and better. I will definitely be back. Thanks, Union Tavern!

   Aesthetic of the place was real nice. Garlic Shrimp had a breading but was overly soaked in garlic sauce which made the shrimp soggy. Chicken was overly salty and potatoes were burnt to a crisp. They ran out of steak at 8pm when they don't close until 10pm. Drinks were the best thing.

    My wife has food allergy when we first got there we were greeted by wonderful Chef who took my wife’s concerns seriously & adjusted meal accordingly,a great fish dinner ,crème corn .we were very impressed

    First time at Union Tavern and it was a wonderful experience and evening. Service and food was great, from the wine , main course to desert. Menu is not large which was not an issue as it made it an easier dinner choice. Great spot for a nice sit down dinner

    I had a lovely dinner this evening and my server was fantastic! Axel truly is a great server and was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The cocktail that I had was very yummy-I think it was called The Traveler or something like that! I highly recommend dining at Union Tavern while in Nashville. Definitely a hidden gem!

    Azayzel was an excellent server!: He made the night special! He answered our questions about the menu and guided us to choices that suited us perfectly. Each dish had an interesting innovation - like shortbread croutons or bone marrow in the grits - that made this a memorable meal! Highly recommend!

    Sadly & maybe because it was Christmas Eve (we love coming to union tavern ) it wasn’t the best … … our service was top notch , the menu looked incredible but everything we had was disappointing , either cold or no flavor ..Our son had the chicken & that was good.. my flounder didn’t have much taste, my husbands meatloaf wasn’t that good In the past 4 years our Christmas Eve dinners were fabulous & we want to keep trying since we love the atmosphere!! Best part was the cobbler dessert!!

    Very disappointing. Poor atmosphere, disappointing food, mediocre service… The only really nice experience was an outstanding lovely lady from the kitchen staff who personally took care of our little boy which saved the evening!

    We were greeted warmly and immediately seated. We made our reservations via opentable only 15 minutes before we wanted to eat, and were happy to be greeted so warmly. Our server, Axl (Azayael) was knowledgable, gave excellent advice on the drink choice, and kindly helped me navigate the menu due to my alpha gal allergy. We enjoyed a lovely small plate and shared plate along and shared the NC flounder for our main. Our food arrived quickly, and our glasses were never empty (both of water and of our beverage of choice). A wonderful surprise. The atmosphere was pleasant and open. Noise was a little high for an intimate dinner, but not bad, and we could easily talk and enjoy our time. Highly recommended.

    As natives to Nashville we were excited to try Union Tavern out. This was one of the worst experiences we have had being in Nashville for 25+ years. Service was awful, food was even worse, and the overall experience was so disappointing. Our waiter “Nick” didn’t know the menu, the chefs try to hide bad food with even worse spices, and the prices are absurd for extremely mediocre food. We had a lot of “worsts” during this experience; worst martinis, worst chicken, worst service, worst prices, etc.

    Small portions, forgot my dish but server was very apologetic and it came out at end when my party was done eating. Took it off bill. Set up reservations and stopped in early to confirm and ask about a birthday candle/dessert for a 50th birthday we were celebrating. They said no problem but never came out with it. Food was tasty for the most part just not enough of it for price!

    Food was disappointing. Drinks were good but stopped there. Mac and cheese was so salty I could not eat it. Salad and shrimp and grits lacked flavor. Desserts were also missing something. Service was fine but hostess didn’t even look me in the eye. Cool decor.

    Great venue. It was a Sunday night and the restaurant was out of several menu items. Not a big deal but limited options for gluten-free and fish-free selections. Good service with only 2 servers on the floor. Would eat here again!

    Waited too too long for drinks and food. Perhaps a was a staffing problem. When we received drinks they were great as was the food. Drinks and food came out 1 at a time...hope they can tighten up their service as the menu and place have potential

    We were a little nervous because of the small number of reviews but it turned out to be a great place! The cocktails were very well made. The fried chicken was probably the best I’ve ever had. Very cool ambiance/decor as well.

    This place was a disaster from start to finish. They were not that busy at all, so the story only gets worse. First, it took 50 minutes to get cocktails for our party. When the food arrived, it was lukewarm for some and cold for others. The waiter did not apologize one time for anything. To get the orders he stood at the end of a 10 seat table, we had to yell at him. When we complained to the manager, it took 35 minutes to split the bill. Total we were there 2 hours and 35 minutes. The only nice thing I have to say was the seating and decor were lovely.

    We had difficulty contacting the restaurant to add a person to our party and were unable to do so in the app. We finally reached someone that confirmed it was ok, but then the restaurant reached out to confirm the reservation for wrong number of people. It worked out in the end. The service was slow and the food was lackluster at best. It was not worth the price and I would not recommend this place.
