    This whole experience was just meh. The food was okay, we had a pasta dish that was very good and a burger that was okay taste-wise, but had only pickles and mayo, nothing else. Very below par. We ordered a St. Germain spritz and a Tom Collins, neither of which the server or bartender had heard about and made incorrectly. They put tequila in the Tom Collins and when we pointed it out, they tried to say it was just house gin. Reader- believe me when I say it was most definitely tequila. There were maybe 3 other tables on a Saturday night at 8, and I can see why. We won’t be back.

    Service was not good. Server kept saying there were only two servers on the floor. It was very slow. I was disappointed in the over all experience and we spent over 300 bucks on dinner. I will not return sadly.

    Our dinner at Union Tavern was excellent. We had the Ahi Tuna appetizer to start. I had the Whipped Ricotta Gnocchi which was amazing. My husband had the Pappardelle Bolo & he loved it. This was hands down one of the best dinners we had while visiting Nashville. We will be returning the next time we are in town.

    The food was fine, but the service was really terrible. It took forever for us to order drinks, and then forever for us to get them. We ordered the second drink as soon as the first one came to try and avoid that happening again. I really don't think it was even our waiter's fault. The place was empty, so I'm not sure why it took so long.

    Great wait staff and service. The grilled articoke and calamari were okay, not great. Gnocci was excellent; burger good. Steak added to my salad was mediocre and chewy.

    The grilled artichokes were like slime, the server did on his own account remove them from the bill, three of us got the steak frites, which was greasy and tasted like bad hamburger meat, I couldn't stomach more than the first bite, none of us enjoyed the meal. The restaurant itself is pretty but also very dark. I go to Nash a lot; this is a place to skip.

    Three of us tonight; server didn’t know her wine, forgot to bring out wedge salad and forgot side dish of broccolini. That’s the short version! The host who took our reservation seated us, also he was the one who brought out our dinner and he bused tables. Dinners were ok, lightening was terrible; overall because of the company I enjoyed myself.

    Mallory was an excellent server. Atmosphere was so cool. Calamari was good. Grilled artichoke was also good. The Menu was very limited and they served us chicken that was raw and BLOODY in the center so we sent it back. I would not go back to this restaurant.

    Delicious food. Restaurant was Extremely hard to find and we were scolded for Being 2 minutes late. Restaurant was empty so scolding was ridiculous. Waiter forgot to take one of our orders and we had to call him back over to get it. Calamari was beyond rubbery

    Food and drinks were excellent and so was the ambience. Service was decent and the general staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Union Tavern inside the eclectic and beautiful Bobby Hotel.

    When we booked we didn’t know it was in a hotel and almost didn’t go…however! I’m so glad we did! It was one of the best meals we’ve had this year. The chop salad was amazing!! We would definitely go back.

    Bar service was excellent and hostess was friendly and welcoming. Once we were seated the experience went bad fast. Our appetizer came out MAYBE 10 seconds before our entree and our entree was flavorless, dry, just awful (we ordered the shrimp skewer). Server was extremely inattentive and did not acknowledge the timing issue with our food. She also did not ask me why I didn’t eat my entree. We had high expectations for a restaurant at a nice hotel like The Bobby. We do not recommend nor will we try it again.

    Our server, Axel, was outstanding! The smoked ole fashion was delicious. The artichoke appetizer was tough, chewy. The gnocchi’s were great! Pricey.

    Truly the best dining experience in downtown Nashville! We were a group celebrating a milestone and even though outside of the Bobby Hotel / Union Tavern was quite noisy and busy (typical Friday night Nashville), the atmosphere inside Union Tavern was cozy, quiet and very peaceful (very appreciated). The host, Trey, and waiter, Axel, were unmatched in their hospitality and taking care of our group. The food was brought out quickly, and it was flavorful and delicious. If you're looking for a laid-back atmosphere / sophisticated dining experience, I highly recommend Union Tavern. It was a special night for us and Union Tavern, thank you for being part of this momentous occasion!

    We went for dinner before a show. Onion rings were good, not a lot of breading on them. Tuna was very good. It was very quiet, beautiful spot.

    The conversation following dinner should not be “where do you want to go eat?”. Portions are very small, service was spotty, bathrooms, while cool, are hard to find entry.

    Steak frites were amazing, as was the shrimp skewer with orzo. Sav Blanc was fabulous. Our server Mary was wonderful. Great vibe and artwork. Will definitely eat here again.

    We were staying at the hotel where the restaurant is. Food was fine, nothing special. A bit over priced for the quality. Heard they are revamping their menu which will be good. Would come back and try different items. Staff was friendly, ambience was great.

    The drinks are seriously good. We ordered 2 appetizers the shrimp and meatballs. The shrimp was WAY too salty to be edible. I ordered the pasta and again WAY too salty that it was inedible. The atmosphere is really nice and our waitress was incredibly nice. It definitely passes the vibe check. I would go back for drinks.

    Hair in the food. Severs response was “hairs happen” but did comp the dish. Crazy amount of taxes add in. Group of 7 bill was 270 and 52 dollars in taxes so be ready for two different liquor taxes of 24 percent. Overall poor experience…manager didn’t even know about the hair in the yogurt until we went to tell him.

    Came here for a nice dinner. Disappointed because they only had 6 main dish items and they were not cheap! Ended up just having drinks and a couple apps. They were good. The shrimp and meatballs were good but pricy for what you got.

    The food and service was just ok. Better to get further from Broadway for better brunch. The atmosphere is nice and noise level is good. The cocktails are good. I doubt I’ll go back for brunch but I would go back for a drink.

    My partner and I went with our friends for a quick bite to eat. We decided to take mushrooms before dinner which made the experience so much better (I recommend). If u get the chance, do yourself a favor and take a picture in front of an elegant piece of artwork consisting of a hand encompassed by a bouquet of delicate flowers. The questions remains — is it a photo or painting? That’s for you to decide.

    I had such a wonderful dinner. The waitstaff was very accommodating and welcoming. They told me they just started their new cocktails and had a brand new chef. The food was delicious. The ambience was amazing. Will definitely return.

    Absolutely terrible. The only okay part of the meal was the chicken. It was a little dry but still okay. The salmon came and was not fresh tasting and had a very foul fishy taste to it. The cobbler we had was definitely not good. We sent it back. The kicker after a terrible meal was the coffee having coffee grounds in it. Instead of an apology we continued to get excuses. I tried to get in contact with the GM however have not had any luck. It was so disappointing and we will not be back. Hopefully the GM will contact me so we can speak about this experience.
