   Heard about this place long ago but never tried it. Gave it a go for a solo dinner. Started with a DIPA (can't recall the name, but the menu indicated was "new") that was quite good, with the second round being a NEIPA (same parenthetical comments as above--memory is failing!), also quite good. Having read through a number of reviews, I ordered the burger with added bacon. It was definitely a half-pound patty, nicely cooked, slightly underseasoned but overall enjoyable. Steak fries on the side were generous and tasty but could have been a little more crisp. I'll be back.

   Good food. Great service. Somewhat limited on the beer options (how's that possible?) It was nice to find a place in downtown that was open late and had good food and beer.

   Blueberry ale was very good, a smooth drink. Onion soup was very watery without much taste with just sliced cheese placed on the top. Dinners and drinks were good overall.

   Good beer and very good ribs and fries. Salad had hard seeds and steak sandwich was only fair. The server was not knowledgeable about the beer and was hard to find. Entrees took very long to come out.

    We had not been to Union Station in many years. Our last experience wasn’t great, but decided to give it another try and we’re glad we did. We learned that ownership changed in 2019 and it’s a vast improvement. Food and service were top notch. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

    So-so food. Just stopped in for apps and soup for lunch. Had a $9 bowl of very watered down French Onion soup with sliced, torched cheese on top that had a lousy metallic after taste. Service was decent, nachos and fried mozzarella were ok as well.

    Always love this place. Great beer, great food great service. Our waiter hit it out of the park this time. He was dealing with 12 of us on 6 different tabs and he did a fantastic job!

    Unfortunately this was not our best experience here. We were seated at what seemed to be an “extra” picnic type table while all other tables had chairs with backs. We asked to switch but were told that was not possible even though many tables that would fit us were still open and remained open the whole time we were there. Our apps came but we had to ask twice for silverware and plates and some of the dinner order was incorrect. The beer was yummy but the bathroom was kind of dirty… not the greatest meal out. We have been here many times before and it seems the overall experience has declined.

    Visiting the area for the first time and Yelped for local restaurants. Decided on Union State Brewery and could be happier. Amazing wait staff, great food, and nice selection of beer. Highly recommended!

    Went there with family after hockey game. Not accommodating for one in party with dairy allergy. Came back to give him limited menu but then it wasn’t accurate - people who have severe allergies will get sick! Couldn’t answer simple questions re menu. (Eg: What type of pizza is neopilitan?? Thin crust, thick crust..) and although she said she’d ask, never did. Never followed up with other question from husband. Server didn’t crack a smile the entire night. Food eh. Skip this restaurant - go to one of the many others nearby.

    Food was very good and service was attentive. Great location in the old train station building with a big courtyard in front—very removed from the city even though you're in the heart of it. Local beers were good; cocktail was so-so and bathrooms were not super clean (and no toilet paper!).

    Place was packed after the PC Friars win over Villanova. The staff did a great job and got us our table right on time. Service was fantastic and timely even with the large crowd.

    Great place to watch the Providence College Basketball game. Convenient location in Downtown Providence. The food was good and the service was extremely friendly. We felt completely unrushed. I recommend they turn down the music during the game. It seemed most of the customers were following the game and the music interfered.

    Poor service the waiter was looking like a hot mess while walking over with our drinks spills them in tray and gave us the glasses full of our drink then didn’t get napkins idk why you need reservations here!! Never again!

    Awesome spot! Went on Valentine’s Day by a fluke because everything was booked up and our other reservation cancelled on us but it turned out to be perfect for us and totally more our vibe. Chill environment, helpful staff and huge portions of awesome food! Greats local beers obviously. We really loved it and were not disappointed at all, would choose Union Station again!

    Took a last minute trip to providence with our 2 boys and we had been here before for just beers so we thought we’d try it again! We just ordered beer, pizza and Brussel sprouts and all of it was really great! Love the pizza crust! Brussels were delicious, per our servers suggestion we added bacon and that took it up a notch! Everyone was so kind to the boys, servers were making jokes with them. All in all great place to try in the city and family friendly!

    The place was packed, but the service was outstanding! Also one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Others shared the pulled pork lacked flavor, but we were very happy with everything ordered. The beers seem a tad expensive, but everything else is in line with what you'd expect.     Service took awhile to get our drinks. All of the burgers were over cooked, my wings were fatty so there wasn't much meat on them and the poutine fries weren't good. The gravy tasted like gravy made from powder in a pouch and got gelatinous after 10 minutes. They didn't have much flavor and nothing was worth the money

    The cauliflower tacos were delicious. The hamburgers were very good. My wife enjoyed the sparkling sangria. We were disappointed with the waitress. At times she was good & then she would disappear and we couldn't get her attention. We will probably go back when we are in Providence again.
