This was the best dinner experience I've had. We took our teenagers and they were searching Google for the menu items they were unfamiliar with. Every plate was clean when we finished. Perfect portions. The filet mignon is to die for.
Fantastic food…not too much, not too little. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.
The service was just ok, but ‘greeter’ was cold and brusque. A 20% tip is automatically added so there’s no way to really express less than satisfactory servers. Food was OK. The decor is nice but the wait staff really make you feel uncomfortable
The place was beautifully decorated, so festive!
Our wait staff was was wonderful!
The experience was great!
Very pleasant experience. Parking can be an issue as on sight parking is limited to guest rooms only.
Really nice room. Decorated for holiday.
Fix price makes it a little expensive but overall very nice
Overpriced for mediocre food and ridiculously small portions.
Shabby chic decor. Warm and inviting. Service was great. Food was decent.
Service was excellent. My husband had the salmon that was topped with shredded beets. Somehow the beets overpowered the salmon. Next time he said he would order the chicken which I ordered. It was outstanding
Love the atmosphere
Disappointing when compared to the dining experience pre covid. The fix price menu was up by 50% and the portions were downsized. My dinner wasn't hot and the brownie dessert was partially frozen. Add ons were very expensive......truffle fries were $25.
Great food, great service, my favorite restaurant in Cape May!
Beautiful historic restaurant with a warm cozy atmosphere. Our food was excellent. The server was attentive and it was a wonderful experience.
Love the atmosphere. We are definitely coming back.
Perfect thanksgiving dinner. Food was delicious & we felt the staff was friendly & efficient
We extended our Thanksgiving tradition to dine in Cape May, and this year the Union Park was excellent. Service was prompt, efficient, and polite. The Prix Fixe dinner was delicious, and my wife especially enjoyed the crisp turkey skin garnish!
Had Thanksgiving with my family of 6. Everything was perfect! Exceeded expectations.
This was a tradition for us, having Thanksgiving Dinner at Union Park. As usual, the ambiance was terrific and the food outstanding. We were not rushed, and the prix fixe choices were amazing, many more than prior years. We would highly recommend Union Park.
Absolutely fabulous - from the moment we stepped in the door to dessert!
Thanksgiving dinner here is incredible. Put it on your bucket list.
A fantastic thanksgiving dinner! Incredible food! Our server Liz was awesome! Our party of four all had different apps, mains, and desserts, so we were all able to sample from each other and every dish was amazing. Definitely going back next year!
Food was delicious Beautiful presentation. Good service
We celebrated Thanksgiving in Cape May. Union Park supplied an excellent dinner that was the both delicious and provided us with a pleasurable dining experience to end the day.
The food and service was perfect!
A wonderful venue to celebrate Thanksgiving. Thank you.
Was here for Thanksgiving and it was delicious. Wife had lobster risotto and I had lamb. They did offer the traditional turkey for anyone interested. Great service and wonderful food.
Excellent food! Service was a bit slow...but is was Thanksgiving! Overall, highly recommended!!
Had a great Thanksgiving day meal. Service was outstanding, very in tune with our needs. People serving the food to the table knew where it went, which seems to be a lost art lately. Only drawback was that our bread was too hard to eat, but since this was a prix-fix menu on a holiday, it didn't matter to us. It was the largest number of people we have ate with indoors since pre-Covid. Staff was face-shielded though.
It is a nice dining area and the service was courteous and relatively fast. Unfortunately, for a $75 price fixed menu on Thanksgiving portion sizes very small, and for example, the beet salad had maybe one chopped beet in it. The cucumber salad with the Salmon contained one cucumber. The Salmon was undercooked and fleshy, and the apple cobbler consisted of a few slices of barely cooked apples in a hard tart shell. Disappointing to say the least.
You made our Thanksgiving holiday a sheer delight ! The unique setting, superb service, and commitment to incomparable-quality, made our Thanksgiving one of the very best ever. Thank you.
Our party, and gratefully got just that of five enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at Union Park Restaurant at the Hotel Macomber in Cape May, NJ, for 2021, and had a wonderful experience. It was our first holiday at a restaurant in many years, and we were hoping for an intimate experience.
The service was friendly and courteous, the food was impeccable, and the dining room is just lovely. Because everyone was in the mood for something a little different, there was a lot of sampling and sharing. Beautiful food; a feast for the eyes and the mouth.
Always excellent. This is the type of restaurant you go for fine dining. It’s a three course pre-fixe menu. There are optional add-ons and up charges for special entrees. They started to charge $5 for the artisanal bread basket and I see people upset about that. If $5 is going to bother you on principle, then this is not the place for you. I eat here knowing it’s going to be $150-200 for dinner for two with BYO. And it’s worth every penny if you appreciate high quality, well presented food. If your frugal…. Skip it.
We had not been to the Union Park for 2 years but when we returned, the staff was very welcoming and seemed genuinely glad we were there. Food and service was great.
Delicious food, great service! A very nice option for a special occasion.
This restaurant is NOT child friendly! The staff was rude (at least our waitress was) and the food was just okay. Would never dine here again.
Outstanding meal! Will definitely return again! The lobster & saffron risotto was fabulous!
1st time-referred by a friend. Outstanding! We will be back!
place is a rip-off, 3 course buy-in is a scam, it's a $65 minimum they give you a tiny appetizer and lame dessert, we had to pay $5 for bread and made the mistake of trying to add one lame crab cake that cost us an extra $30. Will never return and will warn others to stay away, surprised they didn't charge us to bring the food to the table. just a gross feeling.
Great place to celebrate a momentous occasion. We dined here for our anniversary. Our waitress, Kate, was exceptional. Our food was excellent. We enjoyed the entire experience!
The portions were very small and it wasn’t the wow we were hoping for for a $300 dinner.
