Very lovely and delicious dinner outside on the patio with a view of the ocean!
Best fine dining restaurant we ate @ during our 3 night stay in Cape May, NJ! Waiter (Bill) was excellent in explaining dinner specials & was very attentive & friendly! Highly recommend this restaurant! We heard Restaurant chef has been with hotel for 15 years! We ate here a few years ago & service & food always excellent!
Delicious food! Very pleasant on the porch. Very good service. A favorite.
All was well above average. The portions of the appetizers are on the small side. The presentation was excellent. A vegetable side is cheap, add a portion to each entree. Bread is a small detail but details matter. A better bread choice would help. The coffee was excellent. You can’t go wrong with this place.
Great food and service. I would definitely go back again.
We are local residents and truly enjoyed sitting outside. There are limited vegetarian options and the shrimp was salty. We enjoyed the ambiance but was deeply disappointed when we suddenly smelled cigar smoke. We learned this is allowed which is problematic for non smokers. We support our local restaurants yet unsure if we will return.
Food was overpriced and not prepared as requested
Food was great. Our waiter was ok. Long wait in between services such as getting our order, providing dessert menu, taking our dessert order, waiting for our check, getting our bill after providing the credit card...how long does it take to run the card? The woman who provided the water and cleaning up the tables were great. She was always working constantly, filling our water or clearing the tables. I hope part of the tip we gave goes to her as well because she deserves more than 50% of the tip compared to the waiter we had.
We were blown away with this restaurant. The atmosphere was elegant, the staff was extremely polite and the food was perfect. Honestly, I can't think of a single part of this experience that was not great. This dinner made our entire evening and weekend worth it. I would absolutely reccomend this restaurant to anyone.
Very good food, excellent service..did feel a little rush to turn the table especially if you order price-fixed
Very nice atmosphere, and decor. Very good wait staff, attentive, knowledgeable of menu and food preparation. Food selections were excellent pairings and something for almost every taste. Pricing was good for what was offered.
I think more people are familiar with Peter Shields but Union Park is every bit as good if not better for an upscale meal in Cape May
As always, the food is top quality. Service is refined.
This was not our first visit and it didn't disappoint. We love the fact that this is a BYOB restaurant with no cork fee. We take advantage of their well priced Pre fixe menu. The service was excellent and you were not made to feel any less special because you were eating off the "special menu", This will be a regular dinner spot every time we come to Cape May.
Sensational! Unexpected elegance and superior cuisine at the shore. Beautiful dining room and perfect service! What more could you ask for?!
Had a great meal sat in the library and had great service great place
Service was spot on and food excellent. Pretty busy with all tables filled yet food was delivered without long wait and server was attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend the smoky crab bisque which was delicious and not overly heavy or thick and the filet mignon.
It was pricey but most of the best restaurants in Cape May are- especially those without a liquor license.
Yummo! Classy dishes that taste superb! I had the best steak there & the Jonah crabs were awesome! FYI-it’s BYOB. We brought a lovely bottle of Taittinger rose champagne. Wonderful! ☺️
It’s nice to have some classy dining left in this world!!!
What a lovely place. The service was great and the food was very good. It is BYOB, but if you forget or came from out of town, you can buy some local wine.
Good food, service and price.
We went for the prix fixe menu (available 5-6pm). It's a limited menu, but a good value. Food was superb. The only misstep were the profiteroles. The ice cream had excellent flavor, but was light in density and texture, closer to ice milk. And the éclair dough was dry and tough. The outside and the ice cream didn't meld well together. The chocolate mousse dessert was fantastic, however.
The rest of the food was terrific. The short rib preparation was incredible. The lobster was really nice, especially the risotto.
My wife and I have been going here for years and have always had a wonderful experience: great food, great service, upscale ambiance, and it’s BYOB. What more can you want?
Awesome in every way!
Price is high, food was very mediocre. Not like it used to be. Won’t go back
The best salmon in Cape May. I always make it a point to have dinner at Union Park while I'm here.
Food and service was excellent, never disappoints! The seafood tower was absolutely delish. We were in the private dining room which made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
I’ve been taking my family here to celebrate Labor Day for many years now and we always look forward to the excellent food and service Union Park has to offer. Last evening was no exception. If you are looking for a fine dining experience in Cape May, Union Park will not disappoint.
We showed up 5 minutes late and they did not honor our reservation. The host was extremely rude and nasty. After years of going to this restaurant we will not be going back, their behavior was totally unprofessional.
Always enjoy Union Park! Excellent food, beautifully presented. We were there over Labor Day weekend, so they were very busy but still pulled off a great meal. We were seated outside on the porch, so it was a little windy and noisy but still very enjoyable.
Excellent as always!
Always one of our top three restaurants to dine at in CM. Food is always good from apps, main course, deserts. They never disappoint.
Fantastic twice in the same week. From appetizer to entree to dessert. Great selection, quality, and service.
Because this was a special occasions/birthday, and the restaurant was notified ahead of time of that, we were VERY disappointed when our deserts came out and there was no candle on the desert, nor any acknowledgement of a birthday. The waitress seemed tired, overworked, and just plain disinterested in serving us. When asked what dishes could she recommend, since it was our first time there, her response was...”everything is really good here”. We were asking for direction for choices. She also neglected to bring coffee for one of us at the table. The room was lovely, and the restaurant itself was charming. My salmon dish had at least five, 1” sized thin bones in it. While the salmon had a very delicious taste, it made me apprehensive about eating it. Everyone else had ordered different entrees and were very happy with their choices. I would go back because the food was good, and I would like to give them another chance.
Sushi grade tuna dinner special as well as the tuna tartar appetizer were excellent. Nice local wines at reasonable prices. Nice ambience and service.
Another excellent dinner. We were able to dine outdoors which was fantastic! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding!
Excellent service and excellent food preparation excellent
Shirley our server was awesome. Very relaxed told her we wanted to take our time and she was totally great with that
One is my favorites in Cape May. Love the atmosphere love the food love the service.
We’ve been going to Union Park for several years and loved their early seating for dinner. Now that they raised their prices considerably we will go less often. Why such a big increase?
Food is good but now overpriced.
Also not crazy about service taking your dish as soon as you put your fork down.
Very comfortable dining area with linens, glasses of good quality. The meal started off well with an excellent white fig, arugula and pine-nut salad. My vegetarian entree with a side order of lobster was pretty bad. The lobster tail was ok but the main entree - well I would have been ashamed to serve it to my family. Undercooked carrots and cauliflower doused in a spicy packaged dressing. A few slivered asparagus tossed into the unappetizing melange that was a $30 entree plus $20 for the lobster tail. My dining companion had a small kobe beef burger with a sprinkling of fries for $25.
We did not eat dessert. The service was excellent.
I do not think we will return to this overpriced restaurant with poor food.
