Truly, a beautiful place. Food and service were excellent!
Have been dying to go to this restaurant for many years and it was fabulous. The very quiet older crowd kind of put me off a little, but the waitress put us on the enclosed porch as outside was not available and we were happier. It's a bit on the pricier side but well worth it. The food was amazing and we will definitely return next time we are in the area.
A truly outstanding dining experience, food was the best, service was unbelievable, the staff did many extras anticipating our needs! Atmosphere was elegant. An A+
Great food and great ambiance
Food was very good. We had salmon topped with crab served with apple quinoa. The crab cake appetizer was excellent. Friendly service too!
What a lovely evenng..feels so special when you dine at Union Park!! Although the dining room is large you still have the feeling of intimacy with those you are dining with...Our server Shirley was a sweetheart!! Not overbearing but pleasant and attentive...we had a very nice time and will be back!!
Very nice dinner. We had the pre fixed menu. I had the beets, lobster with risotto and fruit with custard for dessert All for 39.00. My husband had crab cake, lobster and chocolate mousse for dessert. My father in law had crab cakes, short ribs, mashed potatoes and string beans with cream puffs filled with chocolate chip ice cream .They had a wonderful Father’s Day Dinner. Delicious and affordable. Also great that it’s a BYOB.
App and entre were amazing
We celebrated Father’s Day a little early with the
Fixed Price menu. Wonderful food and experience. This is the third time we’ve been to Union Park and they never disappoint!
Union Park always delivers a great dining experience, from servers to desert you can’t go wrong
Wonderful atmosphere. We felt relaxed, not rushed, like dining should be. I loved their eclectic, yet classy, choices. We both enjoyed our dish. The fact that it was a BYOB was great also.
The place is very clean but needs a little sprucing up. Keeping in mind that old is good in Cape May this felt more like Grandmom's worn out house then elegant. Just my opinion. Some may like that.
Having said that, we will definitely return. The service and food made it worth the visit!
My daughter and I were taling a break in Cape May and made reservations for the Union Park early, prefix dinner. Our waiter was great, explained the specials, and answered all of our questions. The dinner was delicious, we were very pleased.
what a great restaurant in CM. Food was fantastic from soup, salads to rack of lamb. Service was great too. This is one of our top 3 restaurants to dine at in CM which never disappoints.
Restaurant week menu was great!
Perfect evening for our 45th anniversary. Good food and service great, even on a busy night. Union Park is our favorite special occasion place! The duck trio is terrific and hope that stays on the menu forever.
The Restaurant Week menu is a real deal. The roasted chicken is always great, and the salmon was excellent. The desserts were light (just enough) and delicious. The wait staff is always very accommodating.
Time and again this restaurant never disappoints, the food is always consistently great, the staff is great, the menu for restaurant week was outstanding! My wife and I really love dining at the Union Park and plan on going back a lot more!
We had a great time. The food was excellent! It was the first time for most of the people in our party. Defiantly a great experience! Highly recommend
We dined at the Union Park to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is an upscale establishment in an old hotel. Restaurant week was being featured on the night that we dined. Therefore, we got a three course meal for 35.00 per person. It was a very good deal. The food was nicely prepared and portions were generous.
While priding myself in patience and quality obsessed; I went off of the ratings and was left...lackluster. My lobster was not touched yet not asked what was the issue. It was so abundant in salt that it was unfortunately, inedible. The wait between courses was long for a quite evening to the point we were restless. Maybe it was a rarity; I hope so for the review base.
Always a hit. I’ve been here a dozen times and the flavors are always excellent as is the service and presentation
Union Park was outstanding and is highly recommended during your stay in Cape May. Food is delicious and excellently prepared. Ambiance is great and service is impeccable. One of our favorites.
First visit of the season and looking forward to the second. Creamy burrata, fresh lobster, consistently very enjoyable.
Last minute reservation. We were greeted graciously. Excellent meals superbly prepared. Impeccable service, as usual. Kitchen accommodated changes in menu offering without question or hesitation.
Union Park was wonderful! The atmosphere is beautiful. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised when we realized it was Restaurant Week!
We went during Restaurant week & had fabulous meals. The scallops & shrimp were delicious & so was my sister's lobster. Waitress, Liz, was friendly& efficient. The slaw with the scallops & shrimp was a bit too much for my taste. I would have preferred less of it or something else, but the scallops& shrimp had such great flavor. Would also have liked more bread.
Union park is excellent and consistent
Food and service were good. We felt rushed... we guess because it was restaurant week. Not sure if we would go back under those circumstances. It was a special anniversary and we were hoping to take our time that evening. We were seated at a window but the scene was overlooking the parking lot. We requested special seating but do not think that was it.
We were greeted and seated promptly. Excellent service, refined and beautiful. The crab cake appetizer was unbelievably delicious, the St. Laurent Salmon was perfect and the Profiteroles dessert was a work of art and delicious. Every course was delicious and beautifully plated. The Servers were exceptional. The best part it is a BYOB.
It was a wonderful evening. The food was delicious, the service was very efficient and it was a great way to celebrate our anniversary.
Restaurant week! Great selections and so delicious !! Try it out!
After hearing rave reviews from friends, we decided that my husband‘s birthday would be the perfect occasion to celebrate at Union Park.
We were lucky enough to be seated at Laurie’s table. She was very cheerful and extremely efficient. We needed quarters for the parking meter, we had run short. They were out of quarters at the front desk. Laurie checked her purse and came back with quarters in exchange for $1 from us. That was a very sweet thing for her to do, we no longer had to stress about the time, and appreciated the extra effort on her part! The entire waitstaff is polite, friendly and professional.
We visited during restaurant week ~ that menu was not much different from Union Park’s regular menu. The quality of the food was first rate. The preparation was inspired, the ingredients were extremely fresh, the flavoring and seasoning delightful. We can’t wait to return, even when it’s no longer restaurant week.
Chose this as one of our "Restaurant Week" picks. Location across from ocean. Outdoor dining was not available due to wind. It's a BYOB but they do have certain wines available from local vinyards to purchase by the bottle (the Cape May Winery Pinot Noir was not good at all!! Waitress offered to return it but we felt badly since she opened it...at $23/bottle though, I guess you get what you pay for). The food was presented beautifully, but having similar dishes at another area establishment the evening prior, it was just "ok". They also rushed the courses & brought the prix fixe dessert course without offering coffee first. So we sat there & waited another 10 minutes staring at the dessert. Staff was friendly & nice. Water glasses filled regularly. Glad we got to try a few restaurants via the Restaurant Week promo during our first (& not last) visit to Cape May!
Sat on the porch and it was a perfect date night for restaurant week! Great service and even better food. One of my favorite spots in cape May.
Inside lively volume—outside on porch, lovely
Wonderful night with our family!
Food was delicious & presented beautifully. Ambience & location beautiful. Service very good. Will go again!
No wait time, we were taken right at time of reservation. Food was Amazing, great seasoning, taste & appeal. Dishes were all picture worthy & delicious. Staff was friendly attentive & coutious. Definitely would go again & recommemd. Thumbs up!
We went for restaurant week. The staff was friendly, but we felt rushed. Everything kept coming out so fast.
This was one of our favorite places to eat. We discovered it on restaurant week and loved it. We went there for dinners after and enjoyed them all.
Recently we went on restaurant week again and were extremely disappointed. The food on the restaurant week menu was sparse, my meat was overdone and dry. It seemed odd to put out a cheap sparse menu when you are trying to attract people. I asked for ONE scoop of vanilla ice cream with my brownie and I got one VERY TINY baby scoop that cost 6 dollars! We paid four dollars
For a cup of cold coffee and asked for cream 3 times and still a watery substance they called half and half came to the table. It was not the same dining experience we have had in the past.
