The café offers six different kinds of soup, with a different one added each day. The Caldo Verde, a mix of chorizo, kale and potato is tasty and filling. As well as soup, the café offers a wide range of teas, coffees and hot drinks as well as cakes and pastries. You can get soup for breakfast, lunch and tea as the café is open from 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 12pm till 4pm on Saturday – and also offers a van service. The Union of Genius tends to get busy, so it is always wise to make a reservation to be sure of getting a table.
