We really tried to like the place. This is our third time and unfortunately the experience is consistent. Bad food and slow kitchen, however charming ambience and friendly stuff. This time was no exception. While normally I don’t mind waiting for food and taking it slow, however this time we didn’t want to drink, so ended up sitting for almost 30 min with just water waiting for our first appetizer. Appetizers were not spectacular but ok (bread with tomato sauce and goat cheese, and portabella mushrooms). The two main dishes - yellowfin tuna and caprese chicken were simply horrible. Both dishes remained half eaten and waitress pretended to not notice it when she took them away. Tuna tasted like cardboard and chicken tasted like rubber. I would bet that chicken was one of those pre-cooked chicken with painted grill stripes that you can buy at Restaurant Depot. This is all unfortunate, since the restaurant is in a great location and has a charming atmosphere, great outside seating. But you cannot beat bad food. I keep comparing it with La Merenda (similar concept - small plates with food from around the world) and it is not even remotely close. La Merenda is cheaper and 10 times better.

It was Great! New menu is really good. The whipped feta is fantastic. As always a fun place to go eat and enjoy the atmosphere.

This was our second visit. It’s becoming a favorite. My only caveat is that the background music is more like foreground music. It will make for a better experience if the volume is dialed down a bit. Thanks!

The whipped feta dip was lovely, but the pitas that accompany it are subpar. Something house made or a ciabatta would have been a much better pairing. Yellowfin tuna was great. I’ve never seen burrata in a romaine salad before and what we received was not at all what I was expecting. Loads of ice in the drink, not the best value for the price paid.

Server wasn’t very helpful considering it was our first time dining here. Food was amazing and all the other staff we ran into were friendly, will definitely be back.

Turkey meatballs were dry and lacked flavor. Tomatoes on the caprese were not ripe. The beef with blue cheese was excellent. The cherry Manhattan was excellent. Lydia was excellent.

Love this restaurant and the staff. Super friendly, clean, efficient and inviting. The decor is a total vibe and the food is amazing! The menu gets updated seasonally to offer fun new bites. Great place for date nights or with friends.
