The waiter I had and have had other times is extremely rude! He is also really slow. I am surprised he is still there. I have been there many times during the years, but after this last time, I won't go again!
We were seated at the table and ignored. We left after 20 minutes of no acknowledgement of our presence.
The only good thing was a phone call the next day apologizing for the poor treatment.
The food was okay but nothing memorable. We were thankful to have the outside eating area with a covered area but it was so very noisy. And, I know there is no way to control that. Just the way it is.
Our waitress was friendly and pleasant. Nothing special. She did bring me extra napkins when I asked for them and was prompt about it.
Beef stew and polenta dish is outstanding. Great meal on a cool evening. The salmon on my salad (steak salad, but substituted salmon) was excellent.
The nice warm patio is lovely and my favorite spot is the table for two in front of the fire place.
All the staff including the owners are the most kind and welcoming people.

Our group of four were planning on dining at Graton; however, all the restaurants were booked. In addition the staff at Graton were very rude, I had pulled my mask down to take a sip of my wine and a staff member walked up and forcefully advised me that I was not allowed to take a sip of my wine unless I was seated somewhere.
We ended up looking online for a restaurant and found an opening at 7pm at the Union Hotel. When we arrived the waitress led us back to a beautiful porch with ample heating. The menu was primarily Italian; however, offered many diverse options. The wine list is not huge but offered a nice variety of choices.
The menu options we chose were excellent. The ravioli's, stew, and shrimp pasta with salads were all delicious!
We will eat hear again!

This is still one of my favorite places to eat lunch.
The food tasted like a TV dinner and the presentation was horrible. A big slab of flattened chicken with a square cheese slice on top. We went there for Valentine’s Day and were expecting they might have candles or flowers on the table to make it special but there was nothing. Our waitress was great though. They just need to work on seasoning their food and plating.

Wonderful to have "outside" dining back. Service wasn't up to par just yet and we were disappointed that they were out of the green bean appetizer. Overall a good experience.😊👍
Perfect place for outdoor dining during COVID times. Excellent menu, plenty of delicious entrees and appetizers to chose from.
We love Union Hotel! They have the best built in patio around. Food is always delicious and the service very friendly and accurate. We often get take out too... the pizza specials or just meat sauce to use with our own pasta at home.
