Union and Finch
My husband did not like the sour cream on his eggs.
A hidden gem, that a plan to tell more people about
The live music was nice, but loud. Everyone had to speak louder to hear each other
The salads were very fresh, the waiter was attentive but the frites were limp and not crisp.
We have been here several times and it remains a favorite place to grab dinner
Fantastic place for lunch
We have been here numerous times for Brunch, Dinner, Drinks and such. As always a great experience with fantastic food and service. We cannot recommend this restaurant any more highly than we do.
Great staff, delicious food!
We happened upon U&F by chance and have been back several times since. It is about a 90 minute ride for us and worth the trip every time!
I Highly recommend Union and Finch!
Best Chicken & Waffle I’ve ever had.
Beautiful new gastropub that caters to vegans, vegetarians, and gluten sensitive. The ambiance was wonderful and the staff, as well as the owner were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food they served and the history of the area. They had a bountiful craft beer selection along with house infused spirits and top shelf bourbons. The menu was a fusion of New American and French Nouvelle. The food melted in your mouth and the flavors were top notch. Above all, the prices would not break the bank and I would recommend this establishment to anyone.
Great food and very friendly staff. I’ve been there twice forSunday brunch and need to go for dinner.
Food was great, service was great. The noise is always a bit much, but bearable. Only disappointment was the offering of Happy Hour for brunch - $12 gets you original Mimosa and $.05 refills. Sounds good, but it was all orange juice - couldn't taste any champagne or Grand Marnier. And the orange juice was full of pulp. I did complain to the server who just shook his head in agreement, but no accommodation was made.
4 of us for Sunday brunch! Food , drinks, & service were excellent! 3 of us had a Benedict. Hollandaise was best I ever had, including mine! 😉 Bloody Mary so good. Harry, our waiter was friendly, accommodating, and spot on efficient. Only minor complaint was as the dining room filled up with a large table, the noise level got a bit high but considering all the positives, not a big deal. Looking forward to going there for dinner!
Our group had a great brunch experience here. The restaurant is clean and very nicely designed and the food was outstanding. We ordered a variety of menu items between the 7 of us and everybody was pleased. The only thing we had to complain about is that it took a little while for us to get refills of our bottomless mimosas; we would have appreciated a small pitcher or something to keep at the table and refill at our leisure. Other than that, we had nothing to complain about and would definitely return and recommend to others.
Always great food, great drinks, and great service.
Second time was as good as the first. This needs to be on everyone’s list when visiting Allentown. Friendly staff and great food.
Found this little Gem off of 15th street on Union - what a great find! This is not your neighborhood burger and wing joint. It is a healthy version on an old favorite. We went for their burger night and were not disappointed. We have turned a new leaf and trying to eat healthy and rarely eat beef anymore but these burgers are worth the cheat organic grass-fed beef was fresh delicious and not dried out when we had them cooked medium well. We went for the burgers but will be back so many of the other options. The burger of the month was a spin on a greek burger and it was absolutely amazing so many flavors melted in your mouth. We started with the pickle jar a little pricey but worth the money you didn't get just pickles you received pickled veggies which were crunchy and just the right amount of pickle. But save room for dessert we had the special which was a banana walnut butter bread pudding. We weren't sure about the walnuts because my husband has to stay away from whole pieces of nuts but our server Paula (who was excellent) went back to the kitchen to ask (dessert is made on the premise) and the chef said the walnuts are crushed into a buttery paste and added when making the bread pudding (hence the name banana walnut butter) again DELICIOUS!!!! But if you have a nut allergy you would have to stay away from this dessert. Would highly recommend this little gem we will be back again soon! Probably for next month's burger!
We enjoyed the food and drink. Great menu and reasonable prices especially happy hour and specials. (Note that happy hour prices are only good in the bar area, not dining room. We were unaware of this.)
Cute place, great service but if you're looking for a quiet dining experience, THIS IS NOT IT! There are no acoustics. Unfortunately our table of 4 was seated next to a large table of 20 and the noise level was deafening. We couldn't hear each other talk and were anxious to leave once our meal was consumed. Lunchtime seems to be a little less crazy. Guess it's hit or miss. Ironically, the bar area seemed to be less noisy.
Such a great little restaurant, definitely a favorite of mine! The cheese curds, pickle jar and chicken and waffle are the best! Awesome brunch spot also. Owners and staff are very friendly.
Father’s Day Brunch. Best place in LV for excellent brunch.
Went for Father’s Day brunch and food and service was excellent. Will definitely be back.
Outstanding food, great service, and fantastic drinks.
Wonderful dining experience. Staff was gracious without being pushy and very competent. The food was fabulous. The subtle flavors made every mouthful just plain yummy. Very clean and friendly environment. A definite do over.
based on the excellent reviews- we came for lunch for a Birthday and Father’s Day celebration. Unique menu- great staff, The food was excellent and drinks were unique and very very good.
Union and Finch is a cozy modern restaurant with great quality food and service. Loved the variety of food options as well. I can't wait to go back and try something different.
Fun Friday night! Love the fish tacos and Woodside Ave Band.
Excellent Friday night experience at U especially the Steak Frites (with truffle oil on the fries), Duck Confit and wedge salad. And we had the most attentive and friendly server, Leslie. Great band too! We'll definitely be back. Would recommend this highly.
Have been here a few times and never disappoints. Great owners, staff, drinks and food.
Union and Finch is our go to restaurant for Sunday brunch. This time I tried something different (usually get the Union Omlette) but this time I ordered falafel cakes served with 2 sunny side up eggs. I don't see it on the on-line menu, so maybe a new item. Anyway, very good.
Lovely little spot in Allentown. Great decor, very casual and comfortable. Wonderful servers, great vibes and good team work. Menu had a great selection and everything was extremely tasty and satisfying. Would def recommend!
Fantastic Saturday brunch. Friendly wait staff and great coffee... would be nice if larger mugs were available upon request, but that’s about the only thing I’d recommend changing. Neighborhood gem!
A great place for date night with the wife before a show. Clean, bright and not cramped. Simple but tasty
Amazing, amazing experience from the service to the food to the ambience. Mussels were amazing. The curds and fried okra were spot on. My wife’s duck was fantastic. Visit this restaurant as it’s spot on! Highly recommend.
This was a diappointing experience. One of the entrees, the Mussels had to be sent back they were slmy and mushy, The rest of the food was ok. The waitress and Manager we're great in taking back the Mussels and having another order prepared, the 2nd order was not good, very diappointing.
This place is very minimilstic in decor, Did not like sitting on a wood bench. Do not recommend this place.
Hi Helen - thanks for the feedback. Can you let us know what other entree you had and what you disliked about it? Also, what did you dislike about the 2nd order of mussels, as when we asked we got the impression it was good from your feedback? What were you looking for in terms of the decor? All feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
great little gem in lehigh valley....really nice people and restaurant
Incredibly fun atmosphere, and not too crowded for a busy Sunday brunch. Food selection and taste is beyond expectations
A friend and I met for Sunday brunch. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and she ordered the Shakshuka. The Rancheros lacked flavor but the Shakshuka was full of lots of spices and was delicious. I will be back to U&F but will definitely try something else next time.
Bonus was the mimosa flight my friend ordered.
Excellent as always
Very friendly staff. Our waitress even had tips for activities in the area. Met the owner as well-very attentive and appreciative of our business. And the food was great!
