   Unico is a gem! Run, do not walk to this authentic Italian eatery! The food is outstanding. We all started with the poached pear salad and it was positively divine! The entree’s were also excellent. We did not have room for dessert, but the menu was very tempting!

   This was a phenomenal experience from start to finish! We were warmly greeted by the host, taken to the dining room which is cozy and elegant, guided through some popular selections and well attended to throughout our meal. I don’t know if the presentation of each dish was the highlight or the execution and taste. We ordered apps and entrees that our group shared. We all raved about each dish. The chef came to see us and we complimented him on his artistic work and great tasting food. We loved the interaction we shared with other guests in the dining room as well. It felt like we were all guests in the chef’s home. (I wish I took more photos of our dishes.)

   Had a reservation and got sat immediately. Great service, delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and due to my girlfriend and I eating so fast we were out of there in just about an hour which is a testament to the service as we were not rushed at all, we are just fast.

   Our family of five went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a good friend …we were blown out of the water. The atmosphere was cozy Chicago. It was safe and warm and the service was excellent. Each of us ordered different dishes and they were wonderfully prepared. it is a delightful fusion of many cultures and so good that I wanted to go back. ….The next day ….parking could be a little bit of a challenge, but it is worth every effort.

   We dined in on NYE and ordered from the prix fixe menu. Great deal for all the delicious food we ate! Would definitely visit again.
