Uni has good food, but the omakase (which I ordered) doesn’t really focus on the restaurant’s strengths. The fish is their best quality, but a lot of the dishes included touches I found to be weird and questionable. Grilled octopus basically with peanut butter tasted a lot like a baseball game hot dog without the bun, and wasn’t worth the price. If you go, go for the sushi, and don’t get the omakase unless you value new tastes over potentially great tastes. Also, the restaurant gets really loud late. They play cool music but wish they would turn it down later in the night so people don’t have to yell across their tables. But some people like loudness, I guess.
