We went to watch the Washington/Oregon game and the manager had confirmed earlier in the day that the game would be on multiple TV's however there would not be any sound which was fine. However, when we showed up and after several attempts by the hostess and waitress, there were not able to show the game. This was so frustrating since I had confirmed earlier. We did have drinks which were excellent but did not eat as we wanted to watch the game so went to another place to watch. Seemed like a great environment to watch a game and lots of other sports were being shown so just not sure why our game was not. It was playing at other sports bars that night. Will try again but this was very disappointing.

My wife and I went to Underdogs to watch the TX Ranger World Series game 3. It was our first time there and we will definitely go back. The service was awesome, Thank you Lee, the food was great and there were plenty of TVs to watch the game.

Rueben sandwich was a bit too greasy but the Club sandwich was huge and tasty. Fries were good as were the tater nachos. Good service and reasonable prices. We’ll be back.

We are regulars at Underdogs and love the food . Burgers are great - but my favorite is the Pastrami Sandwich! They make the pastrami in house and it’s smoked to perfection. Great folks too! Highly recommend!

Wanted to love it but fell short. Extremely long wait time (assuming lack of staff), high prices for mediocre food. Restaurants at the River Walk are having a hard time succeeding which is a shame.

We were seated on time but waited nearly 10 minutes for service. When we flagged a waiter down, he said “ sure, I’ll take care of you” as though he didn’t know if we were his table or not. The food came out quickly but the fried green tomatoes had no tomato, just breading and the French fries were limp and greasy. The burnt end sliders were pretty good. We finished quickly and left because it was so loud, we had to talk loudly to hear each other. Not enjoyable. They had big screen TVs with football games on but no sound, just the ridiculously loud music!

Dined here in a Sunday evening with family to celebrate our teenaged son’s birthday. Our first time to dine on the Riverwalk and at this location. Beautiful setting for restaurants and our server was very attentive and pleasant. We ordered the house made chips and queso as an appetizer and everyone in our party had a burger of some variety. The chips were stale and chewy and the queso had a nice flavor but was thin and runny in consistency. The burgers are wagyu beef and big. They are cooked “smash burger style “ but were burnt on the edges of everyone’s burger and the meat lacked seasoning. Lettuce was yellow and the bun was soggy on one of the burgers. Fries were nothing special. For the price we expected better. MOOYAH would have been better. Unlikely that we will return.

Everything was wonderful. I just didn’t give it 5 stars, because its not a 5 star restaurant. The pastrami is smoked in house, sooo delicious. The view is really fun and the service could not be better!!!

My English breakfast sandwich was spot on and delicious. The family enjoyed their food and our mimosas. The noise levels at the restaurant are a bit much as when the games are in use I found myself having to almost yell to talk to my wife. Wife and kids liked their brunch but didn’t love it. We will be back for the night time date night for sure.

We went here for Mothers Day. The menu has a lot of varied and interesting selections. Their chicken strips are some of the best I’ve tried. Their house cured Rueben sandwich is also awesome. For fun we did the Mimosa Tower, which was a hit.

Surprising family place. Its a sports bar that is completely kid friendly. The food is all extremely good! Wait staff was wonderful each time we have been there. Highly recommend!

Great location with a view on River Walk. Outdoor seating was sub optimal, picnic tables are a little to rustic and uncomfortable. The food was just OK. Pastrami Ruben was short on sauerkraut and sauce. The fries were hardly warm and soggy/greasy. Turkey burger was two patties that were thin and dry. Also had burger that was good. We had 2 orders that we got side salads in stead of fries, they didn’t tell us there was an up charge. We would of ordered them anyway but should of been informed. The big bonus were the drinks and beer prices. Domestic beers 3-4 dollars was great. Mixed drinks were well made. Also liked the live music.

Love the atmosphere. I wish the food matched. I made a reservation only to have someone walk in after me wind up getting our table that was being cleaned for our party of 4. The menu is confusing as brunch goes until 3? The food is way over priced for what you get. My Reuben was very dry and skimpy as it had tiny pieces of burnt pastrami for $19? Not worth it. Our server was really the only positive thing during our time there. I don’t know if I will go back. Also, there’s no sweet tea, which I find sad as they have an extensive bar menu. If you like hipster drinks and over priced avocado toast, this place is for you.

Underdogs is a great casual spot to meet friends. Very relaxed atmosphere. It has TV’s all over with various sports being shown. The menu had lots of different options with large portions. The food was well prepared and good. They have outdoor seating, but too cool on the evening we went. ** Directions were off a bit on the app so look it up for actual address.
