Uncle Tai's is a Chinese eatery that has been serving Boca Raton for over 30 years. The restaurant is a family business, having been created by renowned Chef Wan Dah and now being run by his two sons. The interior has all of the relaxing atmosphere of a Zen garden, with soft traditional Chinese music playing over the speakers and murals in the classic style of ancient Chinese artists adorning the walls. At first glance, the menu looks like most other Chinese restaurants: sweet and sour shrimp, Szechuan beef and chicken fried rice are there along with other Chinese restaurant staples. To get the most out their experience though, guests should look to the Specialties section where there are several dishes unique to Uncle Tai's. The most popular of these are the sliced duck with plum sauce, chicken and asparagus in hot pepper sauce and Uncle Tai's crispy beef.
