I have been hearing nothing but good things about this casual restaurant for quite a while now. So my girlfriend and I decided to try it. The place is relatively small and Homie and I would have to say that each of the four items we ordered was excellent. The next day, my girlfriend said this is her favorite place in Montclair which, as most people know, has dozens and dozens of restaurants. Probably not a Saturday night destination but we will be going back there often.
One of my favorite spots to visit with my vegan friend. Great selection of menu items for both of us.
My father is law was Visiting from Colombia
Friendly, good variety of pizza along with more traditional (Lebanese) dishes.
Went there for lunch and all members of our party had some form of a Pitza…they were excellent. The pita and hummus is outstanding.
Dresss appropriately- it’s very warm inside with the oven in the dining area. Had to ask server to open windows.
Great brunch, nice service, it’s a wonderful place to catch up with friends and have a delicious meal
The staff remembered me because of what I ordered and the friendly conversation we had about it last time. I love that!!!!
The staff is always so great no matter how busy :)
And the food…the best!
The space is small which was nice although no social distancing between tables. You could see them making fresh pita and the food came out hot.
The portion of the beef shawarma was very small and there were no sandwiches served at dinner. Overall I would recommend and go again but maybe for lunch.
Went before a show. Great ambiance and service. Food was exceptional. Plenty of choices and interesting twist on traditional. I definitely recommend!
Went there for the first time in a long while. Quality has gone down. My salmon with pistachio crust so so. Salad good. They used to give you pita with meal but no longer
Excellent service, food was delicious!
Great food and lovely people working there. Kind and accommodating. We will return.
The place looks plain for the outside but the food was great. I’ll be back.
Excellent food, fresh and delicious ingredients. The salads and branzino are super good.
Really loved this place, pleasant surprise
Always great good in a cute, unpretentious environment. Fresh and delicious
We had a party of 7 and all had an incredible time. Food was great and loved the atmosphere.
We came as a party of nine (five adults and four kids) and they handles us with so much grace and patience. The food was really well executed, too. Look forward to coming back again soon.
Excellent food and the service is pleasant and efficient.
Was there for a late lunch. Only really negative was that they took a reservation for 2:00PM and when we got there we were told the kitchen closes at 2:50! Ok Food was good.
The lamb tagine and the chicken tangine were excellent. My son said his mixed grill was cooked perfectly. Main courses don't come with veggies, so we had salads as an appetizer. We will definitely be back!
We were a group of 5 and had a great experience. Our server was the only one there and even with other tables she was attentive and kind. We were not rushed by any means and the food was amazing. It was quite hot on the inside of the restaurant, but the food and services was worth it.
The appetizers were good. We got the 6 appatzers on the plate which were brought out with a chinzy 1 piece of pita. The chicken tagine was bland and had very little to it.
The service was great. The house-made pitas were light and tasty and the chicken shawarma platter was delicious. A really good meal.
Two people at our table had chicken kebab and both raved at how delicious it was. The pizza made on a pita looked great and the person who ordered this said is was delicious. I liked my brunch except that it was a bit sparse, dry and the eggs were over-poached. The kitchen or waiter did not do a good job of timing the meals. We were wondering why it was taking so long for the meals to come out because the restaurant only had two or three tables to attend to. The eggs were completed before the rest and sat under a heat lamp. Also, we were never asked if we needed anything, or how everything was. We had to ask for water twice before they would come automatically to refill the glasses. #Greatfood. However, our experience was not great on service. I will definitely go again and give them the opportunity to get their pre-COVID service legs back!
Food was delicious! Wait staff was pleasant.
Great for a light meal or if you’re really hungry.
Had the Greek omelette. So good.
Heads up they close at 9:30!
Great find. Simple food with great flavor. Friendly staff. Portions are large, not quite family style but I would recommend sharing.
Food is always excellent
It was my husbands birthday dinner. Service was terrible
Food had no flavor. Sub par to original restaurant
The appetizers were delicious but my main course, Bronzini, was inedible! I didn't complain, but when the wait staff asked why I didn't want to take my uneaten fish home, I told her it was terrible. I explained that the fish tasted (and smelled) bad or old. She excused herself and went into the kitchen. When she returned, she told me she smelled the other fish and it was fresh so that meant my fish was good too. I disagreed but didn't want to argue. I was with my two friends and didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. When the check arrived, we all fully expected my 28$ entrée to be removed from the tab but it was not. To make up for it, I suspect, she gave us all unrequested dessert to go- hardly adequate! It is not the money so much (although that was a factor after leaving a restaurant without having eaten), but the manner in which my experience was disregarded. With all the great restaurants around, why would I spend my money at place that doesn't serve fresh fish (like the place on South Park I ate a few weeks prior)?
Hummus & beet apps were amazing. Fresh and great flavor. Order mixed grill & chicken shawarma which were both full of flavor and very enjoyable. Service was great and we weren't rushed through the meal which was nice.
Innovative cuisine. Great apps. Reasonably priced. Tajine preparations were excellent. Consistently great every time we go
Went here last week for lunch. Food came out quick and was really tasty! Service was quite slow though.
My wife and I have been coming here for 8 years. It just keeps getting better. This is a neighborhood gem.
I loved this quaint restaurant!!
It felt like I was eating at a friends house!
Humans was delicious and so was the Chicken Shawarma. Perfect portion size. Ate outside. Love the decor and ambiance. Annoying to pay for each Pita. BYOB. Staff was friendly. Look forward to going back!
