   Everyone loved their food - however two of our orders were incorrect. Being the first time we were there, we were unsure until we reviewed the menu at home. One of our group. One of our group ordered the Steak and Enchilada dinner. This was to include two cheese and onion enchiladas - it included a single chicken enchilada.

   Sat forever, finally waitress comes over and is like is anyone helping you? She’s like well you’re not in my section but you’re stuck with me. No frozen drinks from bar, computer crashed she had to come back to table to verify order. They forgot our small guacamole, my sides, and had to ask for my tortilla shells. Food was good at least.

   They were backed up and couldn’t get us in for our reservation time. We waiting and ended up having to sit at the bar which worked out.

   After waiting about 20 minutes for table side Guacamole, I got the server’s attention and suggested that entrees not be served as soon as the guacamole arrived. But, that’s exactly what happened. Maybe the server was overwhelmed but it should have been avoided.

   It is OK bordering good. Nothing great here. Just know what to expect and you should not be disappointed.

   We arrived a bit early for our 11:30 lunch and were seated right away. Miguel, our wonderful server, got us started with iced tea, and we had table side guacamole prepared just the way we wanted it. It was some of the best we’ve ever had! Our entree’s were delicious and beautifully presented. My friend had the Guadalajara combination fajitas, and I had the Honey Chipotle Salmon. My friend had never been to Uncle Julio’s, and stated several times that her meal was one of her all-time favorites. Uncle Julio’s has great ambiance, warm, friendly service, and incredibly delicious from-scratch food. It is a great choice for a memorable meal!

   I felt that since we were a larger party they would put us away from others but they always seat everyone up front. I did notice that one larger group was hidden away which gave them more privacy. It didn't look like it was a "business" lunch either. I honestly felt that the other tables were on top of each other.
