Arrived at 640 for 7pm reservation, we were seated at 715. Manager did make concessions.
You really can't beat the chocolate lovers pinata! My daughter's must have for birthday celebrations.
When we arrived we had to wait as there were no hostesses. Eventually we were seated, Our waiter Noah hands down one of thee best servers there. The food came out in a reasonable time and everything was delicious. Bonus, the beer was Ice cold. Will definitely be back.

Not my first time but everytime I come here they always exceed my expectations..
We had five of us for lunch on a Saturday. Enjoyed it immensely. We all had different entrees, then topped off with a chocolate pinata...so yummy and fun.
We like Uncle Julio’s, but the quest was very late getting to table, not great tasting when did arrive...said they had run out and had to make.... at least 3 people at the table got,something wrong with their order.... lunch menu is much better than dinner....
Overall a good time because of the company I was with. We were celebrating the retirement of a friend I worked with for 20 years. I noted on my online reservation that we would like to sit in a corner, did'nt happen. Do they even read the comments or requests? Kinda the point if you ask me. They front counter people were friendly but seemed as though it was the first time seeing my reservation that I put in a week in advance. Front counter did ask what we were celebrating. They were not prepared and sat us by a window, in the heat near the patio where waiters were constantly going in and out moving tables. Bo our waiter was not attentive and made several mistakes that any waiter should be able to do with ease. He brought out the wrong meal for me and gave the guest of honor my dinner. Another guest at the table had to ask another waitress if she could get her some tortillas for her fajitas which took over 10 minutes to finally get and no sign of Bo in the process. We would've ordered more alcoholic drinks if we could've found Bo sooner. To top it off we spent $30 on a chocolate pinata that we absolutely loved but when it came out it said 'Happy Birthday' instead of Retirement which Bo just shrugged his shoulders at. Front counter and Bo were told it was for a retirement before we ordered our meal. Disappointed in the waiter and his lack of concern for the mistakes. Will I return? Most likely yes as long as Bo does not wait on my table.

Made reservations to not have to wait. Hostess had a table ready when we arrived. That table was in a room in the middle of 3 large parties. My wife and I asked for another table. We were told we would have to wait another 20 mins. We did wait.and ended up sitting in a booth which was fine.

My sons chicken came out burnt. My bacon wrapped wrapped shrimp were also burnt. Other than that was pretty ok at best. This is my favorite restaurant so it’s a little disappointing.

We treated my father to a restaurant of his choice. Having dining preciously at Uncle Julio’s, he was excited to come again. Everyone but my wife enjoyed what they ordered. Something was off about the fish tacos, so the waitress offered to make it right. My wife ordered a salad and was quite pleased. Our waitress was kind and attentive. We’ve never had a negative dining experience here.
Used Open Table to reserve @6pm for 6 people; table was not available until 6:20-6:25. They did not seem willing to put other tables together to achieve our time. Once seated we were told that they were out of Salsa and were making a new batch. Finally got salsa for the chips right before dinner was served.
Great food and great service!
I don’t know why but the past 3 times I’ve eaten here service is incredibly slow. It was embarrassing to wait 20 minutes for the check and 15 to get greeted.

My big complaint is that the metal tray that my food was served on was way too HOT! I laid my fork down when my food arrived and when I took a bite of my rice the fork was so hot that it burned my lips. I felt all the other metal trays on the table and none of them even came close to the amount of heat that came from mine. I didn’t say anything at the time because I didn’t want to ruin the birthday we were celebrating. My lips blistered and they still hurt! I think this is something that should be checked before the food is served-what if that had happened to a child instead of an adult?
Food was delicious, atmosphere was great, but I had to yell across my table for my guest to here me. Music was to loud
The food is always wonderful and the service is superb. Sarah was our waitress and she was fabulous! Cheerful, always smiling, perfect with her timing and super nice.

My fiancé and I went about a month ago and both ordered hot meals. Hers came out hot and mine came out cold. No big deal they fixed it for us and compensated us correctly.
We went last night and the exact same thing happened again. She ordered the lobster fajitas, and I ordered the shrimp tacos.
Her food came out super hot and delicious.
I took one bite and it felt like it had been in the refrigerator. Luckily for me the sever we had last time was serving next to our table. I asked him to come over and he immediately remembered us. I explained what has happened, and I asked them to feel one of my shrimps. It was cold to the touch and they both could not believe it. I spoke with the very unpleasant manager about the situation and what happened last time. After 10 minutes I get a new plate of food, however at this time my fiancé has finished eating because I didn’t want hers to get cold. I was no longer hungry ruining the night. The most upsetting part all together is I had secretly ordered the lovers piñata as a surprise for our date night. My point in going out is to spend my hard earned money on the love of my life not to have to complain about the food. So yeah worst date night ever, and they lost my business.

I used to manage for this company a few years ago, and always enjoyed their food. My wife and I went in about a week ago and had arguably the worst dining experience of our lives. We're busy - and getting a night off to have a date together is very rare for us. The patio tables were dirty when we sat down (all of them) and stayed that way for the entire time we were there. The food was awful (the fajitas were overly fatty and tasted like straight soy sauce). Our server couldn't be bothered and was clearly having a bad night. The manager was nowhere to be seen until he ran food to a table next to us - then yelled at an employee because he misunderstood which table he was supposed to run food to. For $100 with tip, we could have gone just about anywhere. This is not at all the company I remember. Then, when I contacted corporate - THEY SENT ME A $20 GIFT CARD. $20 and some canned email responses. We will not be back.

Our server, Ryan, was great. He had our 4 top table, a large bridal shower along with his other tables and was still able to keep up. We will be returning and asking for him to be our server.
Made reservations and still had to wait 20 minutes. The waiter was overwhelmed and not very attentive. It was so kid my husband and myself had to scream sitting right next to each other.

Went with the family party of six for cinco de mayo. Nothing relating to the holiday was offered no drink specials, no food specials no nothing. Very disappointed, will not make this mistake again. Will not be returning

We went for cinco de Mayo and got a bad experience overall we’ve eaten Uncle Julio’s before and had a good experience but this time it was horrible ordered steak nachos and they came out with one little piece of steak have done in which had me sick the rest of the night and she had tacos that wasn’t great at all. Can say the table side guacamole was great and the guy that made was great and good sense of humor. Hopefully they change this spent 77.00 and wasn’t happy
To be given a vibrating coaster and then waiting 15 mins for a 6:15pm reservation booked through open table is not very customer friendly. After scanning the restaurant and seeing empty tables everywhere, I inquired and was told that they were waiting for tables to clear. Ok. Obviously they were holding tables for 7pm reservations or later. My question is why aren’t earlier reservations (ie 6:15pm) held open. Very unusual. To end, our server was great but overall food quality was lacking this time. We enjoy uncle Julio’s but quality did not match the price.

This was my wife’s and mine one year anniversary since we first met, April 16, 2018, at this Uncle Julio’s location. We had the steak fajitas for two. The beef was excellent, but we asked for both corn and flour tortillas, and were only given corn tortillas - three of them. The waitress seemed a bit distracted and overworked. Perhaps she didn’t understand what my wife said.
My wife speaks with a heavy Spanish accent and the customers at the table next to ours made a couple of rude comments about my wife’s nationality - something about the border being far south of here. I wondered, hadn’t they ever seen a Mexican before? After all, isn’t this is a Mexican restaurant? So I just assumed they were Trumpeteers and didn’t know any better. Overall, the atmosphere at Uncle Julio’s is great!
We’d dine here again anytime. The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent; a great value!
It was a birthday lunch for my youngest son. The food was great, service was great, and of course the chocolate piñata was amazing.
The hostess staff was a mess couldn't find our reservation thru the app and then stated they were wiping off our table and it still took another 30 min to be seated

The food was very good and large portions. The decor and ambiance were outstanding. Be sure to have a Swirl.
Our server, Maria was amazing. The food was great and the restaurant is still new, clean and the atmosphere was nice. Be warned though, the floors are dangerously slippery for some reason all throughout the restaurant but mainly in the restroom.

We are gold status reward members at Uncle Julios and each visit gets worse and worse. The management does not enforce strict rules for the employees as evidenced by the mass of 6-7 “hostesses” that hang out at the front desk, play with their hair, smack their gum, color on napkins, and do not greet or quickly take care of guests. It is unprofessional and each time we go back, the service is worse. We said this last time we are giving it one more shot but after that, we are done. It takes 15+ minutes to be seated with a “reservation” (which is a joke) and then 10 more minutes to be greeted by a server. Our napkins no longer come with a knife or spoon and it took 10 plus minutes for the server to come back after our meal was delivered to ask for a knife, by then our food was cold. The man with long brown hair making tortillas continually was wiping his nose with his hands and coughing over the tortillas. It is safe to say the service has drastically went downhill since it opened and we won’t be back.
