This is a jewel in Roswell. Great menu and service.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service!!
Enjoyed our evening our for dinner. Excellent service. Great food
Great service. Everyone was attentive and friendly. The Tempura Artichoke starter was delicious!
Birthday friends! Food , bacon strips and baked Alaska was great! Best tuna and avocado sandwich ever!!
Server was training and it was obvious things weren’t things as usual BUT in this climate I’m happy to have service at all
Food was delicious and service was great!
Ample outdoor patio seating with umbrellas and live music was a bonus! Great food, too!
Outside patio dining was lovely. Service was slow and with unwanted attitude by waitress. Wedge salad served on metal plate that had rust on it is never a good start. Chicken was over cooked making it too tough to eat. Accompanying pasta was good. Halibut was overall okay yet fish was a bit dry. Nice pour by bar tender. We eat out a lot in this area and this restaurant food was overpriced.
Celebrating a birthday
Delicious food, great service. Dining outside was enjoyable. Second time here. Will go back a third.
It was a great experience for all five of us.
It was a birthday celebration.
One of the best meals we have had in the 15 years we have been in Georgia. Great Steaks, great service-thank you Trevor- and extremely for what you get reasonable prices. We can’t wait to return.
Great great great service!!
Uncle Jack's is a great addition to the dining scene in the Roswell/Atlanta area. It is a "real restaurant" with lots of ambiance, great patios, plentiful and comfortable booths,a well trained, pleasant and eager to please staff, an active on site manager and last but not least, excellent food. What more can I say?
Our waiter was outstanding -knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and friendly. The entrees were superb. We were a little concerned based on some reviews that the service would be slow, as we had to get some family members to the airport later on. That was not an issue at all, everything came out right on time and was delicious. We're looking forward to another visit to Uncle Jack's, and we hope to get the same waiter, he was the best!
Not the best, not the worst. Probably won't be back.
At the Sunday brunch arrived at 1 PM Did not get food for an hour. Waitress seldom showed up and forgot part of the order. One dish had sat and was cold. I don’t advise going when it’s busy
Great food and drinks. I will definitely be adding Uncle Jacks as my go to restaurant. The chicken breast was amazing
Much improved from our 1st time. Both service and food quality.
Oustanding food and atmosphere, definitely will be back. Thanks for a great evening!
It was a wonderful experience except for a few pesky flies. Our waitress, Katie, was just awesome!
This was our first time here for brunch. The service was great. There was a lot of staff just standing around, but there weren’t many patrons at that time of day.
The food was creative and very tasty, although you will need many napkins and a trip to the BR to clean up after eating the signature bacon and any sandwich. Drink menu was pretty extensive.
Valet for the car was late showing up for drop off and just handed us the keys for pickup since we were up front. Not his fault but certainly not worth the tip we gave.
I’d like to try it again for dinner.
We had a great night of dining at Uncle Jacks. We enjoyed our waiter’s service, food advice and attention to our table… the bacon appetizer is as good as the recommendation… the peanut butter sauce is unique and very tasty. The entrees recommendation were also excellent choices we selected the ribeye and crab pasta dish… great flavor and perfect size portion… I also highly recommend the sides as well… we finished the night with an excellent tasting peach cobbler
We made a reservation for outside. We were offered seating on the patio next to the valet parking& it was very unpleasant. We asked to be seated in the other outdoor section but we’re told those seats were reserved. It was confusing as I had request outdoor seating in my reservation.
We were offered inside, placed in the bar where it was noisy& a bar.
Despite disappointment, we ordered& anticipated a nice dinner. We had been there one other meal& food was delicious.
Our Halibut & Tagliatelle dishes were simply not great. The fish presentation was lovely but the fish was dry& very salty. My pasta dish was not outstanding.
All-in-all the meal and evening was disappointing
Although pricey, best burger I have ever had. I would strongly suggest it as THE meal for a day
Awesome find, I had no idea it was connected to Uncle Jacks in NYC where I use to go all the time when I lived in NJ.
We will definitely be back, food was great and service was on point!
very good experience all the way around. Beautiful place, great food, excellent service
We went for Sunday Brunch, sat on the patio.
Mimosa special and rack of bacon to start great service
Food was great and I Ioved the live music
The Guitar player was great 💕 hope he’s a regular,
Planning on bringing some friends soon .
We were very happy that we chose Uncle Jack’s for dinner over the other restaurants in the area! Our waiter, Nick, was kind, attentive and efficient. The bar staff was also kind and the drinks were amazing! I recommend the applewood smoked bacon appetizer (delicious!) and the filet mignon-you won’t be disappointed! My friend got the lobster thermidor and it was delicious too! Try Uncle Jack’s, it’s awesome! We will definitely be back!
We loved our meal. Our server was excellent.
We always love the bacon appetizer. The filet was awesome and the Brussel sprouts were Devi e.
Wonderful dinner all around
Uncle Jack’s is great! Love the vibe here and the cocktails are awesome.
Food and atmosphere was great. I believe we just ended up with either a new server or one that just didn't understand to visit the table more than twice. We never got a refill on our drinks. All of the other waiters were on point. I would go back but would make sure to sit with someone different. It can happen anywhere.
Great food and wonderful outdoor atmosphere (not to mention good tunes playing).
We have been Roswell residents for 22 years. This was our first visit after it was originally The Big Ketch. The food was good. Lamb lollipops were really good, rosemary can be too powerful and it was just the right amount. Artichoke appetizer was good too. I ordered the Octopus appetizer ($20) as my meal, with the server’s recommendation that is was the best octopus “she’s ever had.” The octopus had a great char but was very rubbery/ chewy - it was way overcooked. There was a lot of hummus on the plate too with the octopus which was too much. More romesco sauce and no hummus would have been better. Also, the dish was described as having capers and olives. There were five olives which was more than adequate; however, there were only/ exactly 3 capers. It was lackluster with hummus overpowering/ adding on a heaviness to something that should be a “light” Mediterranean dish. The short rib pasta was phenomenal. It was the star of the night (as well as a smoked old fashion). There was so much short rib meat that my husband ate all the egg noodles with meat in every bite and we had extra short rib to bring home for fun. Our server did suggest seafood dishes as her favorites; however, when we entered the restaurant we were so overwhelmed with a strong fish smell we did not want to order fish or crab out of alarm. Our experiences have taught us that “that” seafood smell leads to an upset tummy. Once we finished dinner our server was nowhere to be found, which was disappointing as everything started off great. We wanted to order some dessert and coffees/ aperitifs but were so turned off by having no service that we decided to get our check and head home. When we were looking around with the “can anybody help us” stare, another server (maybe busboy) was kind enough to acknowledge we needed some assistance and went and found our server for us. We will probably go back, but if the entrance smells like the Publix seafood counter the next time, then it will be our last time.
The entrance to the restaurant is beautiful, and the bar area looks fun. The rest was mediocre. Our service was fine. The food was hit or miss......not terrible, not great, but very overpriced for the quality, service, and ambiance. The tuna poke is excellent. My pasta was stuck together in overcooked clumps. My husbands short rib pasta tasted ok but the meat was so dry he couldn't eat it.
The menu overall is very heavy (the specialty is bacon with peanut butter and maple syrup, which should have been a clue!)
Maybe we'll try it again, but probably not. There are much better places to go to on Canton Street.
Awesome dinner—food delicious & vast menu of choices—can’t wait to return!
Tuna was bad…made guest ill after visiting. Didn’t look right when set on table. Asked server about it & they said it was ok
