Great service , good value, generous portions
The atmosphere and staff were very nice. The food was underwhelming, especially for the price. Everything was on the edge of too salty (we got a filet and the octopus) I do recommend the bacon appetizer though $13 feels a bit excessive for five pieces of bacon; the mashed potato’s were good too.
The food is good. But the service is AMAZING!
Most of our experience was mediocre. The bacon appetizer was delicious as was the salad with peaches, Brie and prosciutto.I’d rather go elsewhere for a steak with better flavor and more delicious sides. The sweet potatoes has marshmallow on top and was gross. The mac and cheese looked great but was bland. The brussel sprouts were very greasy. I was looking forward to trying this restaurant for so long and was just disappointed. :(
We ordered the JackPot which the menu stated came with lobster, colossal crab, fish, shrimp in a broth… the waitress asked if we wanted garlic bread to sop up the broth as it was soooo good…. Well we got the dish, there was no crab and the broth was a gloopy sauce (like the consistency of a creamy salad dressing). So disappointing for $29
Andrew what great. The grilled peach salad and the wedge were amazing we would order that again.
Slow service and very loud.
Food was good and steak was very well prepared to my preferred temperature. When we were served , you think we would get steak knives with our steak? 5 minutes later we got steak knives after asking. The steak was $55 so it’s not asking too much
It was an excellent meal and excellent service. Bakari was fantastic as our waiter.
My only quibble is that the Corn"gasm" Brulee is described in very sweet ways, but it was far from it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I was expecting from the menu description. I'd pick a different side next time.
It was phenomenal. Our server, Bakari, was so knowledgeable, polite, and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Very good meal, steaks were awesome and cooked perfectly. The sides were really good too, especially the Brussel sprouts!
Bacarri was our server and he was GREAT, attentive but not in your face, gave good suggestions for food and wine.
This was our first visit, we will be back 😋
Our waiter was fantastic! My medium steak was a bit overdone, but it was a real fun time. We will go back for sure
Loved everything especially the main lobster tarro tacos and pineapple cosmo recommended by our awesome waitress name Ashley! Will definitely be back.
This place is amazing!!! The greatest appetizers, steaks, burgers and ambiance! Can’t wait to go back!
On the positive side food portions and presentation were excellent. However, all table reservations for inside for two people seemed to be only on small, high top tables...didn't see any booths. Service staff seemed short-handed on a Friday night., waited nearly 10 minutes to get greeted by server. Server apologized for the long wait, blamed it on being assigned three table parties at once. They sat us in the closed-in patio, area, but to keep it cool ran ceiling fans at high speed. Our table was right beneath a ceiling fan. We would have ordered another drink, but it just wasn't comfortable enough. We walked to another restaurant in the same retail center to get a second drink.
very fresh salads , good menu choices, pleasant and knowledgeable servers
Our waiter Brandon was the best. He was so nice and funny and the service was awesome. Food was great. The outdoor seating area was nice and the chairs were so comfy.
The hostess was pleasant she greeted us immediately. We were shown to our seats promptly. The server came over and acknowledged us letting us know she would return shortly which was definitely a plus. The food on the other hand could use some work. I ordered the Peach Salad and a side of mac and cheese. The salad was huge but was mostly arugula. The other ingredients were used very sparingly. A peach salad with only 5 grilled peach slices in this huge bowl of arugula. The mac and cheese was bland. My husband did enjoy his steak even if the seasonal vegetables were bland. Overall, it was just an okay experience.
The staff is very helpful and nice. Everyone helps out each other. The food and the presentation of the food is well done.
Great food, value and service.
While the food and service were excellent, I was a little surprised that the staff were not wearing masks.
Love the lobster tacos. So yummy. Quality ingredients! It’s a mouth watering experience.
Date night for my hubby and I.
Our Manhattan and Old Fashion drinks were superb. Our meal was delicious and our server (Keelin -sp?) was top notch. We will return to Uncle Jacks in the near future.
The experience was great we got appetizers at the bar for a little while before we had dinner and then we went to be seated with a reservation time at 7 o’clock. The place was very slow That night and that was to her advantage except I guess it wasn’t busy enough for the waiter to really take care of us. Lots of wait time in between checking back. The food was fabulous and just an overall great experience
Too loud. Service very slow and mistakes made. Rather disappointing.
great service and location, food and drinks a bit pricey
The first time visiting I didn't get a steak. This time I did - steak and eggs for brunch. Even though totally overpriced, it was a special occasion so why not?
I did expect it to taste good.
It did not.
I did not expect it to be already cut up in strips like they do on a salad.
This was the worst steak i've ever had in a restaurant. I've had small steaks like that several places, including Chili's.
The bacon appetizer tasted good, but come on $14 for 5 very small pieces of bacon? All put together it probably wasn't even 2 full pieces of bacon.
It was my first experience and the brunch was great. The Gruyere Cheese Popover "crustin" is a must have.the portion size is huge so be prepared to take home most of your meal..
Oscar Omelet was good but the seafood was diced as opposed whole pieces. However it was very tasty. The Brisket Benedict was delicious and very filling.
The cocktails were great the Jack Punch and a whiskey sour made with Uncle Nearest!!! If you have never had Uncle Nearest then I highly recommend.
Amazing atmosphere and absolutely incredible food!
With reservations we were seated in patio area with portable ac units. Dining room seating very limited. Medium rare burger came out totally rare. All in all not a place I will go to very often. The seating and flow of traffic design is very poor. Not a comfy feel for an expensive steak.
This concept leaves a lot to be desired. On my reservation email, it said to dress as business casual. When we arrived, the hostess was wearing jeans with holes in the pants legs. Not what I would call business casual. The place is extremely noisy. Service ok but considering the prices service should have been excellent. Food was good but not great. My wife’s steak was so undercooked she could not finish it. I will not go there again.
Robert and his staff are doing an outstanding job. My ribeye was cooked to perfection. Gotta love the Corngasmic creamed corn.
Not good at all. Prime strip steak sent back.
Very enjoyable Birthday dinner. Great Food and prices. Eclectic menu with loads of wonderful drink, food, and side items. Will definitely be back!
Great meal. Large portions. Would be good if there was a smaller portions menu for seniors.
Went for brunch ona Sunday ..good options and food was great
Very good restaurant be sure and get the biscuit and bacon appetizer. Wife and I shared their avocado and mozzarella eggs Benedict very good and finished it off with their chocolate and ice cream “soufflé “ overall very much worth it
It was ok. Got the price, there are better alternatives in good quality and preparation.
This was our first visit to Uncle Jack's, and we loved it. The food is incredibly flavorful, and the service was attentive without being pestering. The entire staff couldn't have been nicer, and because they knew we were celebrating our anniversary, they comped drinks and a dessert–– coconut cream pie that was delicious.
Yes, the comps were nice, but they didn't influence our high opinion of this fine establishment. We will be back! Again and again and again.
My second visit to this restaurant was very pleasant, good food and service.
Food was OK.
