Uncle Jack's Meat House - Peachtree Corners

American
The American grill gets William Jack Degel’s food and decor makeover, and the result is simply amazing! Featuring scratch-made appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and specializing in STEAK. Uncle Jack’s has the look and feel of a 1900s warehouse in New York’s Famous Meatpacking District, complete with aged cement, raw vintage steel, subway title, meat hooks, custom wallpaper featuring archival butcher photos, with flying pigs and steer heads mounted on the walls. The tufted and red vinyl seating, marble bar tops with old school bar styling mixed in and outdoor fire pit lounge areas provide a pop of sophistication while also reinforcing the vintage theme.

Food and service was great but not getting a side with your steak is a little insane.

The restaurant is spacious with an elegant & even romantic ambiance. The service from our waiter Robert was spectacular! He was quick, courteous & well knowledgeable of the menu items.
It all made for a perfect date night with my husband. We can’t wait to visit again!

Food was very tasty. Wish I could have ordered and tried every side. Steak was delicious. Everything i saw coming out of the kitchen looked yummy !!
Service was great. A bit noisy but they were busy. The wine by the glass was a nice pour.
I would absolutely go back.

Expensive, not unique, not great... Seems to have a schizophrenic personality can't decide exactly what kind of restaurant it wants to be

Beef stroganoff didn't have any or not enough sour cream. Promised birthday dessert and never received. Probably better to stick with steak or burger.

Just so so. Service was great but food was pricey for the quality. My entree salad was mostly lettuce. Good lettuce, but $17 for lettuce isn’t worth returning for. Too many other options in the area

Party of 7.
The service was slow.
Almost every order on our table was not made as requested.
I could go on and on but you get the picture.
We were excited about UJMH opening in Peachtree Corners as I’ve been to their other location and enjoyed the food and service tremendously.

A lot of room for improvement !!!

I have been twice, once during their first week or so, and recently. While the atmosphere is fun, the bar is very attractive, and the staff are great, the food, unfortunately, is marginal. It seems corporate to me. The mushrooms we ordered as a side seemed as if they were from a can. The salad that came with my burger was limp, and unappealing. The burger itself was very good, but at $17+, it should be. Our total bill for two people was $130, and I had a burger, as I said. Steaks are very expensive, but nothing special. There are so many wonderful restaurants in the area, I won't need to come back. If you want an amazing burger, try Local on North in Duluth. Amazing.

Food was bland. Burgers were burnt. Third time to the restaurant and worst so far. Last time we were there the food was over seasoned where we couldn’t eat it. Sweet potatoes tasted of strict sugar. Mac and cheese had no favor at all. Chefs must not taste their food before sending it out. Duluth location will be our go to for now on.

Our waitress Jennifer was very attentive, friendly & chatty. We enjoy& ed the drinks she suggested. My biggest disappointment was that we usually go to Uncle Jack's Meat House in Duluth and the food has been amazing. My husband's New York Strip was great but my Ribeye was chewy & tough and the Yukon Potatoes were not flavorful at all. And we were disappointed that they were totally out of our favorite Coconut Creme Pie. Not our best night out unfortunately.

We love the location in Duluth but Peachtree Corners is closer to where we live so we were excited to go here for the first time. While we made the reservation late and could only get an early seating at 6 pm - which was completely fine with us, we felt incredibly rushed and I did not like that one bit. We go out to eat only 1 time a week so we like to enjoy our time out and while it is largely about the food, it is more about the experience for us and time spent together - especially if we are going to drop $150 on dinner for two. We like to try signature cocktails, appetizers, dinner, a glass of wine and maybe even dessert so please don't rush us so you can flip your table over in an hour. If we are there to enjoy, trust me - I'll make it worth your while and tip you accordingly. I would still recommend Uncle Jack's as the food is delicious and beautifully prepared - just be wary of the wait and management staff wanting to get you out of there quickly if you are there on a Friday or Saturday night.

Honestly, I just wasn't impressed with the meat. Given that they are competing (price wise anyway) with places like Little Alley Steak, I walked away fairly disappointed. The meat was tough and the signature "char" wasn't really something I care for. We didn't get a cheap cut either. One person at the table got the Wagyu and another got wet aged strip. Very cool place with a GREAT staff, but if you are going for the best steak... look elsewhere.

Average food priced too high. Salmon was not seasoned so it tasted very bland. Macaroni and cheese had no seasoning in it. The 16 oz New York strip tasted okay, but definitely not worth $39.00. The chicken breast meal tasted amazing and was seasoned perfectly, but I can't say it was worth $24.00. The biscuit appetizer was made with extremely too much salt, but I believe it would've tasted good if that mistake hadn't been made. We really looked forward to visiting this restaurant, but it definitely did not meet our expectations. On the plus side, it's a beautifully decorated restaurant with friendly and attentive staff.

I hope things get better once they have worked through the newly opened issues. The wait staff couldn’t get the orders right, the service was slow and the food was pretty good but not great. We dine at the Uncle Jack’s on Sugarloaf and have never have had these issues. Hopefully things will improve with time and training.

The waitress didn't remember my wife's name and confused her with someone else, which set a bad tone at the beginning. The sides were excellent, however, the entre, the steak left something to be desired.
The boneless ribeye had perfect temperature but no flavor. The sauces were excessive and overpowered the actual taste of the steak. One sauce was expresso and the other was cajun based - great sauces, just too much for the meat that they covered.
Gave feedback to the waitress that meat was overpowered by the sauces (on both steaks). In addition, the meat was not marbled well but full of fat and gristle. I can normally overcome poor marbling if the taste is there - it wasn't. We have ordered steaks all over the world at different price points and we left feeling that we overpaid for poorly prepared food.
We will not go back to that location
