Fresh fish. No need more. Fish fry oil maybe ?? But fresh fish. Always return for the fish. Scary not so many people here now but regulars know. Fresh fish.
Thank u Uncles!
The food was just meh. The restaurant was pretty empty with just two other tables filled with guests. The price for a party of 9 adults with NO ALCOHOL was over $500.00. Unfortunately, none of the items we ordered were great. They weren't bad either but just ok. The only positive note was our server, Tako. He was awesome! We will not be going to Uncle's again. Too expensive for mediocre food and atmosphere.
Ana was our server and she made it exceptional!!! The ahi sandwich was delightful! My husband had the clam linguini, lots of clams however he didn’t care for the sauce(a bit watery). We still had a great meal, relaxed! The dessert, liilikoi cake was delightful!!! Will definitely return!!!
We got in quick - that was nice - we ordered the kids food first, then the pupu's then our entres... (server showed me the times they all went in) Pupu's came out quick, then entres... i had to ask for the kids food and the side salad... a bit out of order. they seemed scattered a bit that night!
The food was delicious!!!
Our server Alexis was very attentive and cheerful. Our glasses were always full and she often came to ask how we were doing. Our whole family enjoyed everything.
Delicious food and great Atmosphere
We got seated with menus, waitress took our drink order, drinks came, waited 30 minutes watching other patrons get seated, order drinks and food, receive Drinks and food. We finally went back to hostess that seated us, she happened to be a supervisor, we complained that our waitress abandoned us, we couldn’t even make eye contact with her or flag her down. That supervisor took our appetizer and food order. We received our appetizers and meal timely from a male server who throughout the time we were there - would ask multiple tables if they’ve ordered whatever he was carrying. Our food was excellent. We had to track workers down for water and drink refills. Then once we received our check from our waitress, waited for an unreasonable amount of time to pay so I stood up at our table hoping to be noticed and after about 10 more minutes of standing, i took my son in his wheelchair to the front of the restaurant while my husband sat waiting at our table. A few minutes later, the supervisor came over to my son and I to ask if we enjoyed our food and I commented that we are not able to pay for our meal. I explained to her that we finally got our check and after waiting so long for our waitress to come back for our payment, I stood at our table for 10 minutes but still unable to pay so let my husband stay at our table alone. I also told her that at least 6 tables who were seated after us have already left. She went to get our payment, apologized to my husband. I believe our waitress over looked us, without any apology, because of our disabled son. We still had a nice Valentines dinner. We booked our reservation several weeks earlier through Open Table.
I had dinner at Uncle's Fish Market and Grill on Valentines Day with my wife and enjoyed our experience. Jamaal waited on our table and did a very good job. He made sure our glasses were filled; our questions answered; and our meals and service was okay.
We enjoyed their "ahi and hamachi sashimi" and the "fried calamari" appetizers. My wife had their "jumbo scallops" and I had the "garlic ahi" for dinner. The food tasted very good. The scallops were soft and the ahi done medium well. Perfect...
Uncle's Fish Market and Grill at Pearl Ridge Center provided great service, ambience, and food that made our night special. Thanks!
The food was great. Our server Bear was very courteous, funny, and served us well. The place took both me and my spouse a good feeling. We both want to go back next time for pupu’s and drinks.
Seated immediately upon arrival. Our server, Bear was great and made our experience awesome. Food was great and as frequents patrons it gets better each visit.
Service was great, food wonderful and enjoyed the ambiance better than the Nimitz location
Good local neigborhood resurant for the whole family. Good food, attentive friendly staff, large portions of good food. Lots of TV's and well stock bar.
The nostalgic photos of old aku boats, the surrounding envelope of sea life and the casual feeling of being at the water’s edge lures you into a uncle’s delicious world. Fresh poke tower and tortillas was a new combination for me. Miso butterfish was an old favorite worthy of revival. There was plenty room for privacy, but no isolation from the server’s hospitality. This fisherman felt at home, but with a better cook!
We always enjoy the food and we enjoyed the music.
We love Uncles!
We ordered from the fresh fish menu and the food was excellent! I had the garlic Ahi and my wife tried the Parmesan Mahi-Mahi . Both were cooked to perfection and the vegetables were delicious. We also had live music playing during the meal which created this really cool vibe and atmosphere. Our only complaint is with the service. Our server must have been handling too many tables because he took forever to take our orders, bring water, bring the check and even return my credit card after I paid. If the food wasn’t so good, our whole experience would have been ruined. But overall we liked the place, and even though it’s a bit pricey, we may give it another chance next time we’re craving seafood.
Great food! Great location! And great friendly service!
The atmosphere was great, our waitress was amazing and very informative on all the specials and recommended and amazing appetizer! The poke tower was delicious, and all of our food came in a timely manner. Drinks also flowed nicely with our meal, and the hot tea that they offered at the end of the meal was just what we needed. We will definitely be back again!!
Food was overall very good; only thing is pasta with linguine and clams was slightly overcooked and steak slightly overcooked. Everything was very delicious.
Just like Uncle's in town. Great food, great atmosphere & great service. It's nice to have new restaurants and more options at Pearlridge!
Met a friend for lunch. We both had the ahi sandwich, it was delicious! Loved the cole slaw!
Been going for years and it’s always good, Aiea location is no exception, excellent!
We are frequent customers of Uncles and they have never failed to deliver great food and service. Keep up the great work!
Really good food. I have tons of food allergies and it was easy to find something on the menu. Very friendly staff. Only downside is Google Maps didn’t get us to the correct spot and we were late for our reservation but the staff was more than accommodating and very understanding when we showed up.
The food and service exceeded my expectations. The manager was quite visible and social. Portions were much bigger than I anticipated and manager was awesome. Live music was a nice touch and just the right tempo and volume so we could enjoy conversation. Thank you for an awesome experience.
We both had the clams linguini. Usually it’s good but this time the food was cold and noodles over cooked and rather hard for pasta. Disappointing.
Our server was great and very attentive! 10 stars for her! I think her name was Bear?
Employee Appreciation Lunch
The Garlic Ahi and Poke Tower always a winner! I love that the food is always fresh and taste is outstanding.
We had a very nice time. Food portions were sizable and tasty. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating us with 5 separate checks.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary tonight, but we were disappointed on a few issues.
1) Probably our first experience that someone didn’t ask us if we wanted to order drinks/cocktails. After we completed our order, we ask her if we could order a bottle of wine. While we were ~1/3 in our dinner, our waitress checked on us. No wine & appetizer! She apologized & said the wine that we ordered was out of stock anyway (???).
2) We ordered your clams appetizer and while we were ~1/3 in our dinner, our waitress checked on us and we explained we didn’t receive our clams. Management did comp us the clams and we were grateful!
3) We received our utensils after we received our dessert.
We did enjoy all the food that was served.
We just was expecting a positive memorable experience.
Wow, this Uncle's decor and ambiance are very nice! Very good job in the decor.
The menu is the same as the Nimitz location. We enjoyed the guitarist during our stay.
BRAVO for a very nice dinner.
Great food and service, perfect place for casual lunch/dinner with friends on a regular basis.
Friendly server. Food was delicious - my kids loved it - and the food came out quickly. We will be back.
Great service and ambiance. Would recommend for team outing.
What a wonderful restaurant. Service is excellent, food amazingly delicious, atmosphere is fun, I would highly recommend this restaurant to locals and visitors.
The restaurant had a great look to it, very nice. Staff was friendly and gave great customer service. Food was OKAY. Appetizers were better than our entrees. A little pricey for how little we enjoyed some of the food. Probably wouldn’t come here again.
Richard is outstanding in managing the Uncle’s staff in every facet.
The food was so very savory. We had steak and lobster, Uncles seafood pasta with marinara sauce and jumbo shrimp scampi. You must also try the fresh steamed clams with their super tasty broth.
I think the location of Uncles is convenient if you want to have a nice sit-down meal in the Aiea or Pearl City area and the inside of the restaurant is very new and modern. Service was patchy but Jaylene was a great waitress. Food was alright. For a seafood restaurant the variety is limited and when reading the menu, nothing really stands out. Of course you can look online for fan favorites but nothing that I ordered was really over the top.
Great staff. We didn’t have to talk loud to have a conversation. Wait service was very attentive. Slack key guitarist was great. We loved the music.
