Das Umibar in Köln ist für alle Liebhaber asiatischer Delikatessen ein kleines kulinarisches Paradies, denn es bietet sowohl sehr feines Sushi als auch außergewöhnliche Fusion-Kreationen. Man gönnt sich Klassiker wie die pikante Suppe Tom Ka Ghai, Lachs-Teriyaki und Entencurry sowie manch extravagante Neuinterpretation wie das Thunfischtatar mit Avocadowürfeln, süßer Sojasauce, Sesam, Knoblauch, Chili und Koriander. Die Küche in der Bonner Straße begeistert ihre Gäste nicht nur mit Geschmack, sondern auch mit kunstvoller Optik. Das Sushi beispielsweise wird auf schicken Schieferplatten oder Holzschiffen serviert und teilweise noch mit Trockeneis in Szene gesetzt.
