   My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at UMA Cantina Peruana restaurant for several reasons. Firstly, the cuisine was exceptionally flavorful and the presentation of each dish was impeccable; we particularly savored the UMA tiradito, UMA causa, Risotto de Papa seca y Arroz a la Chiclayana. To complement our meal, we indulged in traditional Peruvian Pisco Sour and Passion Fruit Pisco Sour, followed by a decadent Locura de Chocolate for dessert. Moreover, the service staff were outstanding; they exhibited remarkable friendliness and attentiveness. Our waitress, Sofia, demonstrated exceptional professionalism, consistently offering assistance and providing valuable recommendations. Lastly, the restaurant's décor was enchanting and aesthetically pleasing, effectively showcasing Peruvian culture. We opted to dine al fresco, taking advantage of Miami's favorable weather. We will undoubtedly return to this outstanding restaurant.

   Beautiful restaurant, good service but worst pisco sour I’ve ever had. Food was okay. Suspiro a la limeña tasted nothing like traditional Peruvian Suspiros so avoid if you’ve had the original dessert.

   There are no blinds very difficult to eat with sun in your face. Octopus was very chewy. We let them know as an honest critic and they didn’t offer us anything. Food’s overpriced drinks are overpriced. Ambience not the best

   The decor is stunning—tasteful and elegant, creating a potentially great ambiance. The food itself is excellent: flavorful, well-executed, and fairly priced for the most part. However, the pricing on the sides is a head-scratcher. Paying $12 for a small bowl of rice or $12 for just a few pieces (4) of fried yucca feels excessive, especially compared to the value of the main dishes. Hopefully, they take feedback into account and adjust, because otherwise, this could be a go-to spot. Would definitely return, but probably skipping the sides unless they tweak the portions or pricing!

    From the moment we arrived at UMA, we knew we were in for a special night. Located in a vibrant new area of North Miami, UMA stands out with its beauty and charm. The experience was nothing short of exceptional. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, from the elegant yet cozy atmosphere to the personalized service that takes dining to the next level. And the cocktails? Simply outstanding. Without a doubt, the best Pisco Sours I’ve had outside of Peru — perfectly balanced, refreshing, and with that handcrafted touch that makes them unforgettable. The food was equally impressive. The causa and arroz chaufa were absolutely delicious, combining authentic Peruvian flavors with modern creativity. UMA doesn’t just serve dinner; it delivers a full sensory experience where service, ambiance, and cuisine come together flawlessly. This is without question a new must-visit spot in North Miami and Aventura. We can’t wait to come back.
