We all agreed this is the best food on the mountain while skiing and one of the best values. Some of the highlights were the Ramen, Brussels sprout salad, and the Bison steak. Kids menu was great too. We liked it so much we took a larger group back the next day!

Uley's is a charming place made unique because you must ski there. The white tablecloths of the past are gone and there are lots more tables, making the atmosphere more casual than the previous incarnation. I miss the more special feeling and the delicious mussels that used to be on the menu. The ramen broth was tasty and the panko-coated chicken good, but the actual noodles were almost flavorless. The wine list is very limited: they'd be wise to add a nice French rosé to the selective choices.

Good, but not as good as expected. Broccoli salad was delicious. Elk bourguignon was just average. Meat was a bit tough. Worth giving a shot once. Cool cabin.

Rustic mountain cabin serving ramin?! Really? Food did not match the decor at all. Wines were expensive. Had a beet salad "poke" that was just plain small cubed beets. Looked lie they came from a can. Came with wontons that were twisted so they did not serve as a vehicle for the beets. Poorly thought our and executed dish.

Lovely getaway cabin on the mountain. No crowds, no fuss. Brussels sprouts were addictive. We were 3 and shared two entrees, bison and pork and didn’t quite finish our food.

We had a reservation for inside. The mulled wine was very good, so was the cider. We had the Brussels sprouts and charcuterie board to start, both were delicious! We shared the pork ramen and the pesto pasta and both were flavorful and something we’d order again. It is on the more expensive side, be prepared to pay for finer dining.

It’s a lot of fun eating at Uley’s Cabin while skiing at Crested Butte. The service was quite slow but we weren’t in a huge rush. Not something to do every day while skiing but definitely worth doing once while visiting.

We had lunch on Dec. 22. We had enjoyed other visits in years past. I was very disappointed that the menu was Japanese. It used to be Colorado western faire. Smoked trout Ceasar salad. Ect. The outside bar menu had elk chili, and wild game kabobs. WE had expected similar inside. Everyone in the party liked the ramein that they ate. It was expensive for what it was. The service was excellent. Very quick and responsive. Overall I guess I was disappointed that the menu did not match the rustic cabin surroundings, and was kind of ordinary given how difficult it was to get a reservation.

Experience was awesome. They should offer an up charge when you make your reservation to have a bottle of wine at the table when you arrive. Josh the server was great. Host was awesome and detail Dan the cat driver was awesome. The manager was great to speak with on the way hone prior to reservation. He remembered our punch gone call when I arrived. Great experience!

It took a long time for the food to be served. The most disappointing and frustrating thing was that our steak may have already gone bad when it was cooked as we spent the night in the toilets! The steak was overcooked and over-seasoned and makes us wonder why.

Uley's sleigh ride dinner was the highlight of our trip to Crested Butte! It was so much fun and such a neat experience! The food was outstanding! The reason I didn't give ambiance 5 stars was because the dinner music was not our favorite; everything else was top notch! Sit to the front of the sleigh to get a great view and avoid the wind and snow spray in your face.

We thoroughly enjoyed the entire Uley’s Cabin experience! It was an unforgettable evening filled with good food and fun. Although the sleigh ride can be a bit chilly, the views were beautiful. It is important to dress warmly! Chef Shaun created some very tasty food for the evening. The scallop appetizer, squash soup, seared pork belly and our main courses of strip steak and the Colorado lamb were all delicious! Meat was cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth! Service was attentive and friendly. The pound cake was so light and the cider float was a tasty drinkable dessert. To top it all off, the cabin was cozy and very inviting. I would definitely recommend coming here for a special evening.

Have been coming to Crested Butte for over 20 plus years. My wife and myself have always wanted to take the sled up to Uley's Cabin for dinner, but have never been able to fit it into our tight schedule on CB visit's. This time, I make the reservation prior to heading to CB on Open Table and we looked forward to this dinner date. Sled ride up was beautiful, cabin, staff and food...outstanding. Bonus for the evening, we got to met the new Silver Lab puppy, named Slade, going thru the avalanche training, asleep by the fireplace after a hard day of training. We will be back for another fine dinner and evening at Uley's Cabin. Mr. Mark

I am used to the ski in outdoor dining experience while on the mountain but this was a nice white table cloth Different experience. Very good food. Great warm cabin type environment as if it’s your own! Loved Uley’s life story and everything about the restaurant named in his memory.

Very nice white table cloth restaurant attached to an outdoor bar about 1/3 of the way down from the top of Red Lady lift in Crested Butte. Very easy skiing to get to the place. Fun place with excellent food and a fun but not boisterous atmosphere.

A delightful experience for our family! Our waitress Halston was wonderful and managed out party of eight with ease. The food is rich and more than we’re used to, but we enjoyed it all. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with lots of laughter, music, and chatting filling the room. The snow cat ride definitely added to the experience — but definitely dress warm and be prepared for some snow spray! All in all, our family loved it and plan to come back when we have the chance!
