   As always with the Butterfly the team excelled! The food was sublime, the service was flawless! Chris the mixologist was inspired; Steph was utterly brilliant as always! Lovely to see Hayley back. Welcome to Olivia who was working her first night. Bella came out of the kitchen and was great! Why oh why you guys do not have a Michelin Star I do not know - can’t wait to come back and thanks for making the whole evening spectacular!

   Beautiful Restaurant, stunning room and view, delightful tasting menu, not sure we woul dtake the add-on Caviare dish next time but on the otherhand i wish i had bothered to look at the cocktail menu before eating, i shall have to go back to try a few of those!

   The standard of food was excellent as always. However the time it took to serve was far too long. We had to wait nearly an hour and a half for any food and then the time between courses was way too long. The servicing staff were great and tried to fill the gap but the fact is that the whole meal became a somewhat of an endurance of time and certainly that massively diminished the overall experience. At this level and cost, sorry it needs to be better.

   Absolutely superb. From the minute we walked in. The service was exceptional! Loved hearing all the story of where the food had come from and the description of what we were about to enjoy. Loved how everything is used so there almost no waste! Every mouthful was delicious, nothing disappointed. Usually we find on a tasting menu the deserts fall short! But not at the ugly butterfly! You made our anniversary memorable and for that we thank you ❤️

   Delicious food and lovely location with fantastic views- staff were lovely and explained the provenance of all the food with genuine enthusiasm

   Our server Tom and all he’s team treated us like royalty. The ambiance, the view, the decoration and the food was all fantastic. The perfect way of celebrating our 15th anniversary and our first afternoon tea.

   Excellent food, amazing menu & superb presentation, excellent service, fantastic location - what’s not to like! If you get a chance to go, then jump at it without hesitation!

   Fantastic food served by a very capable staff who are not intrusive, but very efficient. The afternoon tea with bubbly and a cocktail was a delight! All with the fab view across Carbis Bay! Just what we wanted, Thank you.

   This is our second visit for afternoon tea at the Ugly Butterfly. It did not disappoint - imaginativel, inventive, delicous explosive flavours and textures. We loved it!! Thanks so much for looking after myself, my partner, my daughter and her new fiance! We will definitely be back on our cornish easter break next year. Just try keeping us away!

    We had an incredible experience from beginning to end, staff are so friendly, each course was explained with great detail and tasted Devine! Cocktails were innovative and super strong! Would recommend to anyone!
