Ueki Sushi is a very special place, like having an Omakase at someone's home! The quality of both the food & service was top notch. Chef Tetsu Yagi was a pleasure to sit in front of and served by. We loved the entire experience!

Couldn’t have had better service. Friendly, attentive, great story tellers. I wasn’t expecting omakase, but was happy with it. More courses than I normally expect. About 1/4 of courses were outstanding, the other 3/4 were pretty good. Would have been great at a different price point, but at this one a bit better is expected. I wouldn’t go back given price and only a couple “wow”pieces, but I don’t regret having gone either.

outstanding overall. if there's any complaint--and it's a minor one--it's that with a 8:30 service coming right after the 6p, it felt slightly rushed. still, i'd come back just perhaps for the late seating.

We lucked out booking on Halloween weekend and had the whole place to ourselves. Chef Soma and Jack made our entire experience worth it. I love how much we learned about each piece we ate and everything was just high quality. I recommend this to anyone who's looking for a higher end omakase experience.

I have never tasted sushi like this before. The flavors were incredible. The fish (and melon) were sourced at the peak of freshness and flavor, throughout the world. What a gem for any foodie seeking a special sushi experience. You will not be disappointed.

Incredible experience from the beginning to the end. Delicious and creative food, impeccable service, cozy intimate space. Watching Chefs prepare and then explain each of the multiple courses was also a wonderful part of our dinner. Can't wait to go back!

This is a unique experience rarely met outside Japan. The ingredients are of best quality and used wisely to create astonishing cusin. Nuances of delicate taste originating this cultural tribute in the heart of Manhattan, without compromise or flattery to the western palate Uieko implore to activate those buds and sense long forgotten, developing a yawn to simple naive earthy dishes.

Another great addition from the Blue Ribbon group featuring an incredible sushi selection combined with attentive service. Some omakase sushi restaurants can feel a bit cold service wise but the team at Ueki did a great job of keeping the atmosphere refined yet very friendly, informative and inclusive.
