Had a fantastic experience at Uchiko. From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm and welcoming. The ambiance was inviting, the food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish came out perfectly timed and beautifully presented. What really elevated the evening was our server, Josiah. He was perfect mix of friendly and professional, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely thoughtful in his recommendations. It’s clear he takes pride in both the food and the guest experience, and it made all the difference.

Had an amazing experience at JĀKÖ thanks to our server, Isabella. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive throughout the meal. She made great recommendations and ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. Her positive attitude and warm service truly elevated our visit. Thank you, Isabella—we’ll definitely be back!

This place is great! slightly limited menu in comparison to its older sister, Uchi, but still same great quality and style as Uchi. Service at these restaurants are always top notch. Our server, Katie, was awesome.

Excellent dining experience. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff made the evening really fun. Atmosphere was very nice and cocktails were fabulous. Food was the best. Recommend for anyone wanting a nice evening dinner.

La comida está bien. Más rica que otros restaurantes del estilo en Plano pero las porciones son realmente muy muy pequeñas y el precio absolutamente desproporcionado. Pedimos un salmón que costó 21 dólares y la porción media 7 cm . El sabor no tenía nada especial a otro salmón que podía pedir en cualquier restaurante pero la porción parecía una broma de mal gusto. Lo mismo pasó con la carne que viene en una piedra caliente. 5 fetas transparentes de 3cm por 3 cm. Tienen que ajustar precio o cantidad.

Everything was excellent! We have eaten at several restaurants in different cities, both UCHI (Austin and Dallas) and UCHIKO (Austin and Plano), and ALWAYS excellent!

Food was great - tasty and great quality! Drinks were ok, some were great, others so-so. When we ordered the Uchiko G&T the second time with less ice it came with no ice and no garnishes of the first drink. Our server was friendly but lost throughout the meal - he was asking us what else we were waiting on. The runners also seemed less than happy. Dessert is a must-have!
