   Wonderfully creative food, great service, always like this place. We let our waitress, Fran, choose our courses and she did a great job of mixing it up. I really liked the folks that serve the dishes as well. They did a great job explaining them.

   Wide variety of sushi. Reasonably priced. We ate on the patio which was nicely shaded on a hot day in Scottsdale. Server was knowledgeable and friendly.

   Kyle was our server and we chose to order the somakase and he absolutely nailed everything he chose for us! It was a fantastic birthday dinner and i cannot wait to return.

   The food is unique and excellently prepared. It's always a true dining experience at Uchi. It is on the expensive side, but to get these types of fish in Arizona, it's going to be expensive. The drinks are also fabulous. A Japanese twist on traditional American cocktails.

   This was our 2nd experience at Uchi. I have never been a real food snob, but this place is just incredible. Its not a meal, its an experience. Do yourself a favor and try them out. It can be costly for sure, but it is worth every penny.

   My friend and I were visiting from out of town and someone recommended Uchi. It did not disappoint. I will be dreaming of the scallops and carrot cake for the foreseeable future. We were seated at the sushi bar. Nate our chef and Caroline our waitress were exceptional. The level of care and professionalism were outstanding. We received customized dishes to our preferences and chose a few on our own. It really felt like a tailored experience with incredible food. We will be back!

   Most overrated dining I have had in a while. Waited nearly 50 minutes to get first piece of food. And it did not improve from there. And this was on Monday. Kitchen just could not keep up. As for the food. For the price you would expect something special. Not the case. Nothing special. Portions are tiny. Spent 2 hours in there. Spent a significant amount of money and left hungry. Not good.

   We did not enjoy our first experience at Uchi Scottsdale. We dined on a Monday, slow night for dinner in the restaurant; however, there was a party event in the patio. The restaurant did not have enough chefs to fill orders for guests in the restaurant and orders from the party. Our food was slow in coming out and came in shifts. We dined with a party of 4 and the sushi came out at different times for each guest.
