We are currently open for limited indoor dining, outdoor dining, and take-out. All of our outdoor dining options are currently tented. Although our tent is partially enclosed and heated, we recommend planning and dressing for the cold. We are currently able to take a very limited number of walk-ins. Should you be running late please let us know, we will hold your reservation time for 15 minutes.
We are diligently following new service operations that go above and beyond government requirements. To stay safe during this time, we are requiring face coverings for all who enter the restaurant. The servers were all extremely knowledgeable about the food and the food was delicious!
Great service !!!
The service was exceptional. It is pricey but the food is fantastic. Well worth it.
This is definitely a restaurant you would go to for the tasting experience, not to fill your belly. The complex and masterful taste profiles of each dish are divine. My boyfriend and I got the hot rock Wygu, Walu Walu fish (so buttery), Gyutoro, edemame, spicy tuna roll, and the Hama Chili, and banana cake for dessert and that was the perfect amount to leave us both happy and full. We also got two cocktails each and it amounted to about $150 total but we left extremely satisfied and loved every single dish we tried. We can't wait to go back for happy hour in order to taste other dishes. Hats off to both chef and pastry chef, our dinner was exquisite!
So so good! Food was amazing and fresh! Staff was very friendly
Amy the bartender is a delight! This is our favorite sushi restaurant in Denver. Everything from walking in to dessert is simply divine.
this was some of the very best Japanese food that i have had in my life. everything was prepared perfectly, the attention to detail was amazing, and new flavors appeared with each bite. we will definitely return.
Had a great Mother’s Day dinner.
Incredible food. Great ambience. It’s a must for food lovers visiting Denver!
We went for Mother’s Day dinner. We were booked for the outdoor dining. When we arrived it was cold and rainy. The restaurant was just opening for service. We asked if we could be seated inside and they said nothing was available so we only had the option for outdoors. They were not prepared and the heaters had not been turned on yet so the tent was very cold and drafty. Luckily the heaters warmed it up quickly, but half way through my meal apparently another table asked to have the heaters turned off who were sitting closer to them. I got very cold and was uncomfortable eating. The waiter was good and even comped a drink which was nice. He did quickly turn the heater back on when I asked. Maybe he knew we weren’t over thrilled and I was freezing which is hard to enjoy your meal like that. We did watch the tables around us getting served much faster which was also annoying. We went with the entrust menu for my husband and I. We did this at The Wolf’s Tailor recently and had a phenomenal meal. The entrust at Uchi in my option was not worth the money. The first citrusy dish was amazing. From that point everything else was ok. The Escobar was my least favorite and We did not finish it. We brought my 3 teenagers who enjoyed the waygu, chicken and short rib. They did not care for the short rib. Overall is was far from an amazing meal and the portions were very small, but the menu prices were big! The atmosphere in the tents were boring too. Wish I would have picked a different spot for Mother’s Day. We even stopped to pick my kids up food after we left there paying over $200 because they were still hungry. Way too many other places to come back again.
One of the most memorable dining experiences I have ever had. 10/10 recommend!
I always look forward to going to Uchi Denver whenever I am in town. ``
Uchi Den is a total experience and will never disappoint you.
Servers are very knowledgeable and super nice. Food is delicious and a must-try.
Excellent experience, worth the trip and expense. First time try the Chiefs selection 10 courses.
The vibe and food were excellent! I highly recommend Uchi!
Great food, super helpful, friendly staff that were super welcoming.
Literally everything is SO good
We had a great dining experience. Aimee was great at providing us suggestions. The food was delicious. Overall 10 out of 10!
Food and service were great. We sat outside under the tent but would love to go back and check out the ambiance inside
Service and quality of food were excellent but even at happy hour, the pricing seems unreasonably high.
Andrew was fantastic!!!
The restaurant was surprisingly empty. While the service wasn’t awful it was much slower than it has been on previous visits with a full restaurant. Our server appeared to be training someone so that was probably the reason.
The food, as always was fresh, clean, and delicious. The fiery yus were especially tasty that night and we have them every time we are there so the bartender was on point.
We brought a family member who hadn’t experienced Uchi before and she indicated she will definitely return and experiment with other menu items besides the chicken.
Excellent time. Thank you Uchi (Andrew) for making our 5th anniversary fantastic! Cheers!
This restaurant has been on my list to try for a while now. I am a total foodie and really enjoy trying new places. Everyone has been raving about Uchi and I wanted to give it a shot to see if it lived up to the hype. We did the 10 course chefs tasting. While the food was good, it wasn’t outstanding. I can say that everything was creative and plated beautifully, however most of what we tried was just ok. The fish was very fresh, but sushi portions, and well, any other portions, really, are on the smaller side (as expected with fancier restaurants). Ambience was great and the design of the space definitely takes you into that modern Japanese vibe. My favorite dish was the desert, Fried Milk. If I do go back to this restaurant it will be for the desert. Very creative and the flavors were on point. My least favorite dish was actually the Wagu Beef...aged with a very strong flavor and a taste that I couldn’t get rid of...tasted off. In all my rating for this place falls right in the middle. Just ok. If I do go back, I will order intentionally and will forgo the tasting menu.
Delicious flavors that I rarely get to experience at other restaurants. I would recommend the Omakase for a great dining experience!
Had a great date night, would highly recommend going for happy hour!
Manager was very condescending; server was great though. Food was ok but trying a little too hard; overpriced slightly.
Great service great food
Always love going to Uchi regardless of the location
Amazing experience. Chef Pete rocks!!! The lobster, mushroom & pickled celery was the best. Should be in all Uchi’s. We are friends of Uchi’s and have been to all. It was a great experience. Staff was great!!!
The food is phenomenal. It is the most expensive restaurant in Denver, be prepared for the price and enjoy a truly special meal. We strongly recommend the tasting menu to really enjoy the experience and to get out of what is likely a limited view of sushi and Japanese food. The omakase (6 or 10 course) tasting choice is well worth it! Lastly, all the mixed drinks we’ve had there have been amazing as well and they change regularly.
The experience is like nothing I have had before. Totally recommend this place!
Our waiter was absolutely amazing. Made all the right suggestions!
Amazing food & staff. Will be back again soon, and again soon after that.
My husband and I went to Uchi to celebrate a special date. all of our waitress's recommendations were a hit. Everything was delicious, the Uchi salad was very fresh and it was fun to eat. the service and atmosphere of the restaurant is excellent.
Ok listennnnn If you can get a reservation, TAKE IT. Uchi delivers an insanely enjoyable experience. Go with good company who appreciates excellent food and LIVE IT UP. Everything was so thoughtfully created and presented. 10/10, new fave.
Amazing service, delectable food, great cocktails!
The quality of food is only exceeded by the service.
The taste was fantastic.
While an expensive menu, I haven’t experienced the various flavoring of each item we had to eat.
My favorite place. Can't wait to go again.
