Dinner was amazing. Thank you Uchi. We look forward to our next visit!
This place never lets us down. It’s our go to restaurant for special occasions. The menu changes from time to time and I’m sad to see old favorites go but then the new items are always so delicious that you get over it pretty quickly. Our servers have always been so great in the past even bringing us oddities to taste from the kitchen that the chef made randomly. It’s chic, artsy and the food is beautiful as it is tasty.
Food, atmosphere, staff, just everything was amazing!
Was a huge fan in Austin and super happy they are now here in Denver!!!
Always so happy to eat at Uchi! The Kinoko Nabe is unbelievable......amazing! Thank you:)
The food at Uchi is creative, delicious and very fresh. It is also presented well.
The Happy Hour menu is a good deal but you will still end of spending a LOT of money at Uchi, especially if you also order food from the regular menu.
Service is inconsistent and since we had at least 4 servers and a buss boy taking care of us, I felt that no one really knew how our table was doing. We waited a long time for our drink order to be taken, and I had to ask twice for ice.
Iconic experience, would recommend literally to any Coloradans.
One of the best dining experiences we have ever had! The food, the atmosphere and Amy’s knowledge were all outstanding! She asked us what types of dishes/foods we enjoyed and brought out dishes that totally matched our style from beginning to end. The only bad part about this experience was that we had to go home! We cannot wait to come back. This should absolutely be on everyone’s list of places to eat in Denver - and if you’re lucky enough, you’ll end up with Amy!
Incredible food! Friendly, attentive service! Beautiful venue!
For as much as you spend on a dinner. I expect the service to be more professional and attentive. Server forgot multiple items. Never apologized for forgetting them. Portions are tiny, food is overpriced. I prefer izakaya den over this ultra trendy sushi spot with “laid back” waiters who seem to be just showing up for a job.
Once we got comfortable, we loved it! I don’t think I’d bring a group here, just one other person and for-sure dit at the sushi bar. Things are a bit different from a usual sushi restaurant, but lean in. Everything is delicious!!! Don’t skip dessert. So good!
Everything was great except our service was a bit off. Had a wonderful experience before so I know what to expect. our server was mostly MIA.
Phenomenal! Best there is. Plain & Simple. Do yourself a favor... and go there.
The food and service is incredible. If you have a food allergy, each dish they bring to you they reaffirm that it is free of shellfish, gluten, etc. The hot rock wagyu is so tender and melt in your mouth goodness and the sashimi dishes are light and bright.
Simply fabulous. We sampled at least a dozen dishes, and everything was delightful.
Went on a double date and the portions were pretty small, I was a little surprised. However, the food was amazing! We had to order 8-10 things on the menu and there wasn't one thing we didn't like. Lots of flavor and unique presentation. I would recommend not going with a large group but would definitely go again.
Uchi offered a unique taking on the sushi dining experience. Each time a dish was brought to us, the server detailed how the dish was prepared and what flavors we'd experience. Furthermore, as it was my husband's birthday, they also brought us a complimentary tempura Japanese Pumpkin dish to help him celebrate. They were thoughtful, friendly, and very professional. We will definitely be going back
It was my second time here and it was so disappointing. The mushroom nabe was way too salty and when we complained, the waitress gave us an avocado dish on the house. However that too, tasted awful... I had such a good memory from my first visit that I expected the same this time, but I don't think ill be returning a third time
Delicious! Really unique ambiance and dining experience for a special night out.
So many flavors and new things. Amazing!
The food was some of the best sushi and sashimi that I have ever had; however, it was also extremely expensive especially for the size of the portions that were served. If money is no object then this is a restaurant that should be on your bucket list.
Hands down one of my favorite spots in Denver. The chef's menu never disappoints!
Amongst the very best food being served in Denver right now.
Literally amazing. Everyone needs to check this place out.
The best sushi in Denver! Unbeatable freshness, quality and preparation!
Food was excellent but service uneven - seemed to take a long time for it to get to us. And the restaurant was so cold I retrieved a cardigan from my car. It was also really noisy.
Fantastic sushi experience. Great friendly service and a fun environment. Definitely a little louder than some other restaurants, and paying a price for your meal, but well worth it.
We shared the chefs tasting which was delicious. We were able to try a lot of different dishes that we wouldn’t have normally ordered or thought to taste. Only reason for 4/5 stars was because our table wasn’t ready when we got there, ended up having to wait an additional 10 minutes. Although the front was very accommodating, taking drink orders and making us comfortable.
Had a reservation for 7:30 and was seated at 8:00.
Hostess did not know how to deal with the delay
No doubt the food here is delicious but my husband and I went to dinner with another couple. We had a decent amount of food (including sharing 2 desserts) -- but we were by no means stuffed -- and we had 6 drinks total for the 4 of us, and the bill came out to $760 before tipping. That seems unnecessarily high for Denver especially when compared to other great sushi places here like Matsuhitsa and Sushi Sasa. I'm happy to go back to Uchi if someone else is paying or I'm taking clients but it's otherwise over the top expensive in my mind.
Cool space with interesting menu. Everything but the tempura was great. Tempura was extremely salty
The House of Suntory cocktail is a must try
Matt curated and choreographed a fantastic tasting for me. What a meal!
PHENOMENAL. Every aspect was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back.
Amazing food. Fun ambience. However, it took around 30 minutes to bring out beers (twice) and the food timing was not the best. Worth it for the great food though
Outstanding service and impeccable dining experience. This will be in our regular rotation.
Make sure you financially ready for this restaurant. Couple easy can spend $350 for dinner
Having had an extraordinary dinner here a couple of months ago, our expectations were high. But not met. Where flavor accents were memorable last time, they were muddled this evening. Each dish tries so hard to do so much, the heroes of each dish - whether fish or vegetable - get lost. I’ll go for best 2 out of 3 and give Uchi another try, but I hope their chefs play to their strengths and those of their ingredients.
Best happy hour in town! Everything is amazing. Service is always outstanding as well!
