    This was our first dinner at Tzeva. We had enjoyed lunch at Tzeva a few months earlier. Our server, Lizzie was very good and provided excellent answers to our questions on the menu. My husband's short ribs were tasty and moist. My chicken kabob was exceptional. We will be back.

    My first but not my last visit to Tzeva. I sat outside and unfortunately do not remember the server’s name. The young lady was remarkably pleasant, helpful, and fun to talk to. Having booked early for pre-theater, I was surprised to hear that special “happy hour “ prices were offered on small plates, giving me the opportunity to taste a variety of dishes, all wonderful! The liver pate was truly special, very creamy and flavorful, even before adding egg, gherkins and gremolata. I also enjoyed a small plate of shashlik and another of salad and was sorry I couldn’t try even more.

    Awesome!…a big happy hour surprise- reservation at 6- happy hour till 7…1/2 off bottles wine, half off small plates…we ordered 2 small plates to share and 2 bottles of red wine…then we shared a main meal- snapper and salad…delish to it all…our first time there- highly recommend- we’ll be back for sure!

    Our family attended the Thanksgiving Buffet, the restaurant is lovely, calm and clean, the staff was attentive, kind and professional, the food was phenomenal, a very tasty Thanksgiving feast. I am so happy I made reservations to spend Thanksgiving at Tzeva with my family in 2023. Tzeva is located in a lovely hotel in beautiful downtown Sarasota. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving Day special!

    Some dishes had clearly too much sugar in them where there needed to be none, like the handheld lamb kebab, which was way to sweet. Meat quality was good. Quality and speed of delivery of the food to the table was outstanding. Overall a great experience and no stomach issues after eating both breakfast and dinner at Tzeva.

    Overall, our dinner was great. There was a private event group two tables for ours that was quite loud, and some times we could not hear each other talk. Otherwise, the food and service was excellent, especially given they were short staffed. All restaurant staff stepped up to help our server. This is our new favorite restaurant!

    Tzeva is a great addition to the downtown Sarasota dining scene. The food is outstanding and very creative. The grouper shashlik is best in town, and the Israeli salad and black sesame brulee are not to be missed. Try it, you'll love it!

    We love coming here and this this is such a great culinary experience. With that being said, service was very slow and drinks were not correct. We do understand that it was understaffed. We also think slightly louder dinner music and better ambiance. The food is absolutely outstanding but the vibe gives off boring hotel restaurant and it is far from that!

    This.was my second visit. I think they are genuinely trying but the food this time was too spicy ( I asked for mild). I don’t think the value is as good as last time.

    the menu was confusing since it described foods you had never heard of. The fried feta cheese was chewy and not good. the lamb kebobs were good but somewhat spicy. Lamb shank was good not fatty if you like that sort of stuff. very few people there on a Monday night which usually is a slow night. We won't be back. Too many other good restaurants inSarasota.

    Tzeva is a great place for fresh Middle Eastern food in Sarasota. The variety is also good, from salads to hummus plates to skewers and pocket sandwiches. Service is excellent and location convenient!

    Service took too long. Took a long time to get our food. And they have one waffle maker with waffles on the menu so my friend and I were done with our breakfast by the time my husband who had ordered waffles got his. Just pretty poorly run.

    Oatmeal not what you're used to. Ok, but not my favorite. I prefer the other menu items, particularly the egg dishes, benedict, and the yogurt parfait... all the fresh fruit is exceptional.

    Nice to have Tzeva in our Hotel. It's a nice room and the staff does a nice job taking care of their guests. The chow was very good. Chicken Hummus, Israeli Salad, Chicken Shashlik, Lamb Shashlik all very enjoyable. Portions are large. Of those items my favorites were the Hummus and the Lamb dishes. Rice served was really nice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

    Table for five before the theater. Couldn’t be more convenient, and the food was excellent. The staff were lovely, and it’s being early, were very attentive. Apps and entrees came out in good time, and if, like us, you leave room for dessert, the baklava (with ice cream) was to die for.

    Outstanding and unexpected! Tzeva élevâtes Israeli and Middle Eastern street food to new heights. The felafel was amazing. We loved everything we ordered and the staff kindly accommodated our birthday request. Would love to see an expanded menu. Highly recommend.

    Fabulous!!! Currently, the Happy Hour menu (until 7 PM) is a wonderful thing! 2 of us shared 5 small plates........they were all tasty. Katie, our waitress was attentive but not overbearing. All the food runners were personable. It was a delightful evening. I will be back soon and often, I hope!

    We were very impressed with the food, choices and their Happy Hour times and prices. Our server, Manny, was excellent. Very dedicated and was sure we were aware of all the specials. He was attentive but not overly so. We definitely would go again.

    Had a lovely meal of their chicken shashlik. Also had a side of the best fries! Perfect crisp to soft ratio and nice and hot. My critiques are I wish they offered bread to start. I also prefer all white meat for my kabob. The meal was tasty, however, and I like the combo of sweet chutney with the kabob and yam spices. The table water was also good with no smell or bad taste. Overall it was a nice experience.

    What a treat — It’s one of the first Middle-Eastern restaurants in the area, and the food was outstanding — fresh, tasty, and perfectly-portioned. Additionally, the General Manager and the staff made us feel like we were the only restaurant patrons — and the cocktails and wine were fantabulos. Plus the price points were very reasonable. It was so delicious that we want to make sure it gets discovered and enjoyed by as many people as possible. So go as soon as you can, before it gets too popular! Oh, and let me not forget to say that Tzeva is in the Art Ovation hotel — it’s like a mini museum and totally worth a walk-through!

    The wine list was sparse and mildly overpriced The toasted Feta cheese was unremarkable. The Israeli salad was ample and had a nice mix of fresh vegetables, however the dressing was only oil and needed more to make it tasty. The lamb kebobs were well done. The accompanying rice was no more than a tablespoon. The Moroccan chicken dish was very large foe a half portion. The vegetables were bland as was the chicken. The dish reminded me of my grandmother's cooking which needed better spices.
