Tyber Creek Wine Bar & Kitchen
Versatile brunch menu to fit everybody’s needs! Yummy food! Fast service, but not rushed!
Excellent experience overall. Very generous with the mimosas and they never delayed in making sure out glasses were filled.
This is a great spot in Bloomingdale's little commercial district along 1st NW and Florida Ave. Hunter, the server was fantastic, accommodating me and my date with quick table change when pouring rain invaded our patio 2-top. I live nearby and rode by on my bike for a year before dining at Tyber Creek. Now I think I should go once every few months. They have an excellent wine and spirits menu, which changes seasonally. I was comfortable taking Hunter's recommendation for drinks with dinner.
Excellent food! Service was a little slow towards the end as we were only 1 of 2 tables left for the night.
super nice right on Rhode island ave,or next to it . food was delicious , fresh and really creative . salmon avocado Benedict delicious and services was outstanding!
Great interior and nice ambience. Starter was shared and was awesome - cheese bread dip. Mains were a choice of four. One vegetarian option - Tamales Pie. This was fine but not great. Would I go back? Yes.
Great. I liked it. Never been out to Bloomingdales but this is amazing
Attended for a sunday brunch
small very intimate place, not suited for big parties.
Food is good, Mimosa are nice.
would go back and try another night just to see what is different on the menu.
Our server (I think his name was Hunter?) made our night really special. Outstanding service all around. Wonderful ambiance and food. Peaceful patio.
We LOVE Tyber Creek!! This was our second time to come back after moving to the neighborhood and it is definitely one of our favorite places we’ve been in DC! Food is always so fresh, rotating menu, beautiful patio, friendly wait staff, and the wine selection is phenomenal. We’ll be back!
This place has an awesome outdoor patio that is perfect for nice weather! Also, the server let us extend our bottomless brunch a little longer than 2 hours because of a confusion, so we really appreciated that! 5/5 stars for sure!
Me and a companion had brunch there. The cinnamon buns were great! I enjoyed the Rose wine, however nothing else was good. The salmon Benedict was horrible. Eggs were over cooked and the salmon was very fishy. The server didn’t ask how the meal was nice, not even after taken away the plate that had a pile of salmon and eggs on it (not the bagel was eaten). The salad with chicken was fine, but nothing great.
Fantastic food and great wine list, friendly staff, great service and perfect for dining outside in the warm months. One of my favorite DC spots.
Food was delicious, service was outstanding but noise level was very bad. We really like the ambiance so we will return but will try to sit on the patio. We found ourselves almost yelling at times.
I chose Tyber Creek because of the very positive reviews and the appeal of a small, intimate setting and a very alluring menu. This was to have been a "reunion" dinner between me and two former workmates. So we were looking forward to sharing good food, good wine, and good conversation. That scenario was simply not to be on the night we went because there was a group event called WOMEN and WINE taking place that evening as well. Initially, the noise level was tenable, but as the group got to the 3rd and 4th rounds, the decibel levels were painful. However, our flatbread was delicious and unique, the wine (a Viognier) was wonderful and each of us loved our entrees. I had the pistachio-crusted scallops on a bed of puréed parsnips and a side of carrots. It was all fabulous. The food was memorable. The ambiance was wrecked by the unbearable noise level that the wine tasting generated. I just wish we'd known about the group...we would have picked another day.
The cinnamon buns are the best!!!
Excellent service, delicious food and everyone that works there is so incredibly helpful and pleasant!
Excellent service and food - as usual. Quick refills on the bottomless mimosas was the best part!
Really great local spot. Definitely some of the best brunch I've had in the city. Really great service and relaxed atmosphere. Cinnamon rolls were to die for
This is a neighborhood gem. Just right in terms of cozy ambiance, excellent service (our waiter was attentive, helpful and entertaining), quality of the food (everything we had was delicious and great value for the price) and drink (fabulous cocktails and wine list).
Cute, small neighborhood spot. The food and service were great. It's a small space, so it can get a little loud at times, but we will definitely be back!
We LOVED our time at Tiber Creek! Food was phenomenal, service was great and the restaurant's vibe was right up our ally. Will definitely be back.
To loud Nice food. Good neighborhood place
Adam was superb! He made suggestions which were well informed and was attentive but not hanging over us.
The food was excellent- wonderful tastes, unusual combinations and proper temperature
Food was good but very expensive for what you get.
Great food for moderate price. Will come back.
The food was amazing! So many great 'tastes in your mouth.' And our waiter Ben couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. We had no idea this restaurant existed - what a gem!
A great spot in Bloomingdale, good happy hour deals and excellent small plate selection.
Outstanding service. The bread is delicious.
Great experience, we celebrated our anniversary with brunch here. Very impressed with the brunch menu. It had a lot of gluten free options for me (dietary restriction) & my new favorite rosé (the tempranillo).
Had a great meal at Tyber Creek. The wine choice was excellent, our server provided us with several small glasses to taste before making our selection for a bottle. The garlic and mushroom flatbread was excellent.
We ate outside and that was very pleasant. Food was very good and establishment seemed invested in making the experience a good one.
The chilaquiles was burnt and lacked moisture and taste. The cinnamon rolls were undercooked and gummy in the middle. Bottomless mimosas took a bit too long for refills. I used to recommend this place to all my friends becasue I've come here for dinner many times but the food really disappointed me this time.
Stopped in here before a show at Unified Scene Theater next door. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of food.
We had warm olives - can't really go wrong there.
Stuffed dates - sweet and just the right size for sharing.
Seared tuna - fresh and delicious.
Meatballs - Tasted great, but was getting too full to really enjoy.
The service was mostly very good. At one point, I wanted our server's attention and he didn't look our way for a very long time. I also have a pet peeve about servers who say, "What are WE having today?" or "Are WE finished?" But that's just me.
Our server was fantastic and gave us excellent wine recommendations! It’s such a cute neighborhood spot.
The cinnamon rolls are pretty good—about the only reason I would go back. The staff was friendly, but I never got a drink I ordered. The other brunch food was...fine. Nothing to write home about.
The food starting with the appetizers was phenomenal!! I highly recommend the spicy cornbread. I had two orders! Wine list is very good also. Very varied from different regions.
