This was not the best experience I’ve had here. First, I checked in once I arrived (at reservation time) and was told it’d be a wait for my table. That’s fine, so my boyfriend and I went to the bar for a drink. The drinks were not that good at all. I had the Two Punch and he had The Aztec. His drink tasted purely acidic and literally burned going all the way down. My drink didn’t taste like it had brandy or any kind of alcohol in it. Being charged $22 for 2 bad drinks was the start.
I get the text that our table was ready so we go back to the hostess stand where we’re told that it’s another wait to be seated. Okay, that’s fine. It’s a busy Saturday night so we were fine with it. Then we get told to put our masks back on, even though we were clearly drinking our drinks at the time. That’s fine, too.
Our server didn’t show up for a good 10-15 min after we were seated. We already knew what we wanted to eat and he didn’t offer any recommendations as most waitstaff does. The appetizers (salmon chips and empanada) was so-so. The salmon chips had way too much salmon compared to the tiny chip it was covering and wasn’t the best or worst in terms of flavor. The empanada was perfect; however, it’s hard to justify the amount paid for 2 pieces. The entrees were definitely lackluster. My boyfriend ordered the brisket and exchanged the sweet potato and apple hash with the Mac and cheese side while I had the Blackened salmon with saffron rice and their “chipotle jerk” sauce. The brisket LOOKED savory when he first started cutting into it, but it was dry. The Max and cheese’s consistency under the “baked” portion was not the best. My salmon started off well until the middle where it was very dry. The accompanying “chipotle jerk” sauce’s smell was overwhelming and it didn’t taste good at all. It literally reminded me of a watered down ketchup (I see where they were going and it would’ve been better with a honey soy glaze). Our server was inattentive and it wasn’t the best time.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience. Our food was cold and my steak under done. The manager was very nice a took half off the bill but we left still hungry as our meals were disappointing.
Great location (patio on belt line), great apps (fish dip and salmon chips) and pretty good mains (fish and grits, brisket, frittata). Lovely Saturday lunch for four.
Was disappointed in the “day” menu. I didn’t want brunch food at 2 pm. I Was there just a couple of weeks ago for a noon lunch on a Saturday so I was very surprised. Drinks were just ok.
Hostess area very unorganized and poor customer service. Gentleman was extremely rude.
Olivia our server was great. Food was great. Atmosphere was great!
Not a warm, friendly place. Almost every employee, including valet, seemed pretentious. Food was good but pricey. If you like to pay a lot for good food and aren't interested in good human service, this place is perfect. We won't go back, ourselves.
The service was great! Our server Joshua made our first time here One to remember! Excellent greeting and choice of food!
Great experience as usual. No complaints. Loved the salmon chips! The brisket was fatty & amazing!!
Will come to this restaurant every time I’m in Atlanta.
Great restaurant choice !
Great vibe! energetic and interesting! Food remains excellent as always!
Great food, service and ambiance. Highly recommend. Our wait person Sean did a really good job!
PRO'S - Was a great experience! The food was delicious. The service was great. The pricing was a tad bit high BUT the amount of food on the plate was consistent with the food cost.
Our family went for brunch. All of our food was not tasty. My French toast was soggy. Eggs were flavorless. Breakfast potatoes were lukewarm. Would not recommend
The food and service was great! However, the bathrooms, tables and overall restaurant was filthy!
Loved it but there weren't many options on the menu. Thinking it might be because of COVID though
Two Urban Licks is a wonderful evening out! Live music and nice mellow atmosphere the Saturday I went. My server Cameron was knowledgeable and polite...simply excellent! I had brisket that melted in my mouth! I thoroughly enjoyed the visit!
Server was fabulous, the building is amazing. The food… steak was dry, broccoli tough, scallop dish was ok, very few scallops. Creme Brûlée was just ok
So amazing! Second time here. I sat at the bar and I will definitely be back for a third time. Thanks Jeremy for a fabulous experience.
Great restaurant!! The only problem was the water got hot kinda fast I wish we had ice and also a straw instead of drinking out a glass but this was a great restaurant there was no other problem very nice service and great experience
I Made a reservation a week in advance for a table for 5 but ended up getting the table top which was uncomfortable and we were extremely close to others. Our service was horrible- the server never asked how the food was or came to check in BUT did check in on tables next to us. He even asked if it was anyone’s birthday but didn’t do anything for it like a dessert or anything fun. I always love salmon but ordering it here- it was dry and bland (it had NO sauce). Overall not good experience which is sad because it was on my birthday.
1. Took 30 mins to get served water.
2. Over charged our bill - charged us for the items that were sold out.
3. The worst waitress ever. I even contemplated on walking up to the hostess to ask for our server
Service was ok. Not as attentive as the price of the entrees. The filet was not good, very chewy and not a great cut of meat. We had mussels for appetizer and they were delicious. My daughter got scallops and she really liked them, but there is only 3 in the entree.
Met to celebrate friend’s birthday. The live music was very good but it made it difficult to converse. Lighting is very dim so hard to see but made for nice ambiance. We had a new server so there were some mistakes with our orders and often gaps in attention to our table. Also, the location of the kitchen in the middle of the restaurant makes for wonderful aroma but I did leave smelling like food (brisket/bbq to be exact). Overall a good experience and an oldie but goodie in my Atlanta restaurant dining experience.
Heavy sauces on the grouper and beets.
Hid the flavors of quality ingredients.
I ordered the Blackened Salmon which is served with Green Bean Slaw over Rice. The salmon was cooked perfectly but unbeknownst to me the Slaw is ice cold and served on top of the salmon. I guess this is my personal opinion but maybe not the best idea because it makes the whole dish cold. I sent it back and asked to have the Slaw on the side. The dish came back with the Slaw still on top and still cold. I sent it back again and the 3rd time they bring all the pieces separately and tasted like they nuked them to make them hot. Since they kept using the same piece of fish by the 3rd time it's cooked to death. Bad experience.
One of favorites! They just never miss.
We were highly disappointed with this visit. We had visited a few years ago and was looking forward to our return visit. My husband had to send his first plate back because it was undercooked. Then the second plate came and he felt the meat had a weird after taste. I order the steak medium and it was cooked great but it lacked flavor. We did love the salmon chips that we ordered as an appetizer, but other than that we were let down.
This was a great spot. It was out 1st time there and loved it. Food had great taste and service was good.
Our 1st time here, but won’t be our last. The food was incredible. Had the salmon chips and burrata as appetizers. Then pork chop and scallops for main course, and finished with a lemon cupcake. Everything was delicious. The only thing that topped the food, was the service by our waiter, Shawn. He was simply outstanding…attentive, yet not overbearing and anticipated our every need. Thanks Shawn. We will be back!
We entered from the rear by the Atlanta Beltline. We had to walk through the restaurant the front to check in. We requested outside seating and were accommodated. In order to sit outside we then had to retrace our steps and go back to were we originally were. Maybe the restaurant could figure out how to enable a diner to check in outside and avoid the double trip. Not a super big deal, just a suggestion.
Our service was slow and very spotty. We had to stop numerous service for utensils, condiments, the check and what not. The wine we order ran out and the food was ok. Not quite how I remember two urban links, it was disappointing.
We LOVE Two Urban Licks -the food, the service, and ambiance, the music. We always end up with a table on the edge of the patio, which is perfect for us. The staff wears and requests masks and we also appreciate that! 5 stars as always!
The food was great, service was a little slow Backwards. Appetizers came out before beverages. With two servers not what you would epect.
Food was tasteless and dry. Service was mediocre and slow. I will not be back again.
Great location! Fun atmosphere! Delicious and unique food!
Limited menu and large portion sizes. Very busy so reservations a must.
Amazing food! Get the crab cake egg roll and salmon chips!! The Turkey wings are a hit or miss. The brisket is phenomenal. Great view of the sunset! Very dim and nice for dates! Open kitchen. Love this place! I come once a month lol
It's a great place for a date.
