Great service and food was excellent.
Waiter was amazing, as were empanadas and pork belly. Entrees were not impressive. Very cool eclectic spot, more about socializing. Go for the drinks and small plates.
Food excellent, and service was superb. Linda was attentive and cheerful. Really great all the way around.
Love this place. Come here periodically with people visiting or people who haven't been here. Always know the food will be fun and delicious.
Great atmosphere, food just ok. We enjoy coming here forbthe atmosphere, but know the food will not be that great. I am not writing that in a bad way.
We love this restaurant and have been here many times. However, this last time our experience was not as good. We were there for an early dinner so not crowded and had a reservation. Our table was right next to an open door, nice breeze, etc, except we would have been facing directly into the sun. We requested a different table, and they seemed very irritated by that. Once they started to move us, they pulled a curtain and moved table slightly to fix the sun issue, so we could have stayed there!! Instead, they moved us to the back. Other feedback is that our food arrived 5 minutes after we ordered. People usually complain about slow service but this was just too fast!! Otherwise, wait staff was attentive and food good.
Food was great as usual and our waitress Nicole was awesome!!!
I always love taking people that are not from the city here because it never disappoints and has a great vibe to it. I took some high ranking leadership here and they couldn't stop talking about how impressed they were with the place.
This was my first time eating at Two Urban Licks. One word to best describe my experience "WOW". I really enjoyed myself and I can't wait to go back.
The food and service at our table was phenomenal-- the hush puppies were so tasty and the tartare was nicely seasoned. Our server was attentive and the support staff was timely with clearing plates and refilling our water. My only complaint would be my experience at the bar. I sat down to wait for the rest of my party and ordered a pinot grigio. I didn't specify which but did point at the top of the menu toward the $8 glasses. When it came to close out, apparently I had been served the most expensive $15 glass. The cost difference didn't much matter, I just think it's generally standard practice that if someone just says "the pinot grigio" they mean house and if there is confusion on the bartender's end they should ask the customer to clarify, not just charge for the most expensive one. Seemed shady to me.
Two Urban Licks is a great neighborhood place off the Beltline! The food is great and the service is excellent. Give it a try!
Lox chips and artichoke were delicious. My husband said his brisket was not good. Very fatty. Sadly, he did not enjoy his meal. Cool place. Booths uncomfortable ~ tables better!
Excellent and creative menu choices. The locale and decor are great.
Too loud and average food for the price.
Amazing!! The food was delicious. The ambiance was fit for my birthday occasion. Will definitely return again
A little too noisy, I could barely hear the live music. I also felt they overbook and there’s really no place to wait comfortably for your table to be prepared.
Understandable host who kept my reservation open even though I was twenty minutes late ...thanks Atlanta traffic (Grady curve is a beast). I've had better brisket. All the other dishes were outsanding. Nice crowd and band.
The only reason I did not give a perfect review and trust me I still want to but I had requested a private table for me and my wife's anniversary specifically ahead of time and they said they would try but could not guarantee. Now I understand if there are no tables but there where plenty of tables available but they told me they where for parties of 4 or more.
I think that is a shame because everything else was amazing the food the service but we were sat with people to the left and right of us closer than my wife was to me. But really is a great place.
The atmosphere was great but the food could use more work. Waitress was very attentive and courteous.
Food is incredible and comes out so fast! Make a reservation, it’s always busy for good reason. Must try the salmon chips!
It is a bit hard to know where you're going, if you park on the street. There should be more signs to guide you once you are in the pavilion. The prices were way more high end than I thought. I spent $47 by myself, but the food was delicious.
Awesome atmosphere, my daughter and all her guests really enjoyed themselves!!!
Enjoyed the food, portions outstanding. Service was excellent.
The wine was not very good. It had a vinegar taste.
I LOVE Two Urban Licks! The atmosphere is great, and my steak was cooked PERFECTLY. I really can't complain about anything here. It's a little pricey, but my steak dinner ended up being three meals for me, making it around $10 per serving. Not bad AT ALL for a well-cooked steak.
Each visit to Two Urban Licks has met if not exceeded my expectations. The prompt, courteous and well informed servers, cordial host team, ambiance, great dishes, and delicious cocktails are great! I look forward to returning!
Our server Linda was awesome! Very attentive and customer friendly
Hard to find the first time, but worth the effort . We had a wonderful meal with fast and friendly service.
I absolutely love Two Urban Licks. The quality of the food and it’s ambiance is what makes this place a gem!
Our waiter Dewayne was absolutely amazing!! His attention to detail was superb. That type of service is rare and it was so apparent that he loves what he does!! Thanks Dewayne for your unprecedented service for our girls night out.
I celebrated my birthday here and like always I had a great time!
I went her for my 26th birthday with 15 people. No server acknowledged my birthday, I was told to wait at the bar till everyone in my party arrived. My party ordered drinks and appetizers, no server came back to take our full order. We basically left at 12 am because we were tired of waiting. Servers basically treated us like we were bothering them. The ambiance of the restaurant is great though! I don't recommend this place for special occasions, especially because this isn't the first time I've heard of people having a bad dining experience here.
Love Two Urban Licks. We celebrated my 60th birthday.
I have only been here a few times and have had good experiences, but on this night, I feel I paid way too much for my experience. My scallop dish came out lukewarm which was disappointing, but because it was a Saturday and super busy, I didn't want to wait for the kitchen to fix it. For the price paid for the dish, it should have been spot on! I also paid $15 for a vodka/soda which is a bit ridiculous considering I didn't order a top shelf vodka. On the positive side, our waiter was GREAT and was all about our service - just wish the whole experience had been better.
Everything was great except for the duck. The duck was way overcooked while the side of Sweet Potatoes we're barely heated. The appetizer, other entree, and cocktails we're all fantastic.
Great fun place for a meal, but food was not up to what we remember. The burger was bland and their famous smoke salmon left much to be desired, it was plain and lacked flavor.
Love this place and will give it another shot.
Love the ambience.... live music made want to twirl my heels lol. Maybe next time... and last last not least the food was great... very big dinner portions.
The food was great and the staff was amazing. I would definitely go back.
Two Urban Licks continues to be one of my favorite places for a date night or outing with a small group of friends. I highly recommend making reservations instead of walk ins for this restaurant, or either you'll find yourself waiting for at least an hour. Each car is validated so there's no need to worry about finding your own park. The ambiance is so nice here, contemporary feel, dimly lit with nice music. We've sat in a different area each time from the bar area to the chef's table to the regular seating areas, and it's been great every time. The staff members are friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The last time we went I ordered the scallops on a bed of grits, and my husband ordered the NY strip...sooo delicious! One of the best weekend hangouts for sure!
