Unfortunately, I had my first bad experience today. The brisket's crust was SO salty it was like biting into a raw salt crystal. Also, the usually moist and tender slice was hard and dry. It was only disappointing because when we brought it to their attention they just said "oh sorry about that" instead of offering something different. The MGR did tell us he tasted it and told the kitchen to cut off all the remaining too salty crust but that didn't help me. I think a better staff response would've made the not too good brisket situation a little better.
Went for Sunday brunch and had the salmon chips as appetizer and the frittata. It was just enough and very delicious!
Always an amazing experience !!! Great customer service, food was great love the fact the menu is never the same , The ambience is incredible definitely will be back next weekend
The salmon chips are so tasty !!
Very good it was a full house and everything flowed so smoothly.
I had a wonderful time.
The line just to park our car was ridiculous. It took 40 minutes for valet. Our group had two reservations. The hostess couldn’t comprehend that. She was confused. Finally we got our table but we’re separated from the other 8 people. There was a table near by that the other group of 5 wanted next to them so that way we can split some people from the 8 and put them with the 5. The hostess instead suggested that she can swear us at a table for five on the other side of the restaurant! Because that table is for 6 or more people. I was tired and agravios trying to explain to them that it would be. Instead I got up and left. I was done with the restaurant and it’s staff. Also There is no proper signage to show the restaurant’s location either. Some of my colleagues that stayed said they had problems with their food, coming out late when in fact they ordered some of the same meals. I won’t be visiting this restaurant again anytime in the near future. I would rather park my car my self. There should be an option for self parking. Valet is not exclusive when everyone is doing it.
The valet parking is a debacle. Ruins all the great food and service.
Unfortunately the section they say my party in was very hot, the AC wasn’t working properly and it was 90 degrees outside. So very uncomfortable dinning experience. One of the bathroom sinks didn’t work. So after having soapy hands had to wait in line to get to another sink. Very disappointing experience. Even though the server was great.
All-in-all, this was a nice choice for our 20th anniversary meal, and is a good special-occasion restaurant.
The salmon chips are special. The hush puppies were a great find. My burger had a nice charred wood taste to it, but was dry. Fancy restaurants, of course, don't believe in ketchup or mayonnaise, but I should have asked for some.
They sat us upstairs, and the service was attentive. But I feel like we lost some of the ambiance. Next time I would request a downstairs table with my reservation.
The ability to stroll the beltline after our meal was nice.
On June 22nd 2019 myself (Anthony Giles and Natalie Johnson) my companion meet at two urban lick at 6pm for dinner, we had reservations. Upon being greeted at the door and then being lead to our table to enjoy our evening. But before we reached our table a couple was sitting at the next table across from where we about to be seated. The gentleman that was part of the couple seated across from where we about to be seated knock over a glass filled liquid, by accident. My companion ( Natalie Johnson) was in front of me and some of the liquid and broken glass spilled on Natalie outfit and legs, by accident. Natalie then went to the ladies rooms to to try clean the liquid and glass off her outfit and legs, she also was cut in her leg. Before Natalie returned the staff did an excellent job getting everything cleaned up. When Natalie returned she stated to me what an excellent job the staff did in helping her even providing a bandage for her cut. At that point everything was fine until a manager approach and said she want to make sure everything was ok with us and that she then stated that she heard that Natalie's purse had hit the couple's table and that what cause the gentleman's drink to spill. This is where things to a turn for the worse, for the manger to accuse my companion Natalie was rude and unprofessional and totally incorrect. Natalie and I hadn't even gotten to our seats which was across from the couple where the drink spilled. The manger then stated that she wasn't accuse Natalie but in fact she did and once again later on in the conversation. The manager also stated that restaurant would reimburse Natalie for her dry cleaning. At that point we where taking a back because we had not asked for anything, but wanted and did complement the staff on how quickly the took care of the spill and glass and how nice and helpful the where to Natalie. The staff at Two Urban Lick made the night enjoyable your manager then came and ruined the experience.
Great music, great food!
Ate out on the patio and then sat at inside bar to enjoy the live band. Great job
This is one of my favorite spots in Atlanta. However the restrooms are unacceptable. On a number of occasions I have been disappointed with the cleanliness. And the salmon chips seems to be shrinking. Other than that I enjoy the restaurant.
It was okay. It was a party of 3. We had the brisket, chicken and fish. I would recommend it to others. There was nothing particularly wrong but it is not a place I would frequent. It was recommended to me to try. The meal portions are large. The food is pricey, tastely, not delicious, thumbs up on the service. The salmond chips were okay and the brisket was too salty for my liking, the fiish was good but quite a few bones, the chicken was so,so. It's 1/2 a chicken. Reminds me of a rotisserie chicken from the supermarket. None of us completed our meals. The meal portions are large. The wood burning smelled good but it was too smokey for me, burned my eyes. Nice atmosphere overall
It was amazing sis!! (Or bro) lol .
I had the applejack fish with the dirty rice. It was so moist and cooked to perfection. So worth the money. Was reasonably priced. Service was great. I’d recommend and come again.
We usually have a great experience here, but the crew was off this night. I requested a seat near the band, which was not granted or acknowledged. Also, we never got the cake for my wife's birthday. I think I'll give 2UL a rest and try other places in the area
Great ambience and location.
This place was everything and more than it was described to me. My family really enjoyed everything from the food, service, valet and music. We will definitely be returning.
I do not frequent this restaurant but do enjoy it. Brisket was a bit fatty but overall nice place to visit.
Everything was great!! The food was hot and the service was good. The only thing was some of the food portion was not the match of the prices.
Service was poor but the food was good. Our server was so aloof I felt bad even bothering her to ask for the menu. Great salmon chips!
Great brunch! Patio was amazing with great weather!
This place never disappoints. Excellent food and environment!
My husband loved his food. Mine on the other hand, was ok. The pricing was a bit much...$19 for a burger, $16 for a waffle. The mimosa could have been better, maybe use a different brut. The service was awesome. Our waiter was very attentive and patient while we were making our selection. We probably wouldn't visit again, but would definitely recommend just on service alone.
Great experience to celebrate Father’s Day. The brisket brunch meal is the BEST!
The food was and has always been pretty good but the service is absolutely atrocious. Blows my mind, with so many other great restaurants in Atlanta, that the servers at Two Urban are so bad at their jobs. So many better spots in this city that have just as good, if not better food, with much better service.
We've enjoyed dinner at TWO Urban Licks many times, but had brunch there for the first time on Father's Day. Two of us had the frittata and it was relatively tasteless. Wven the pesto-looking sauce on top was too mild to taste. The other two had chicken and biscuits with grits, and they seemed satisfied. Luckily, the salmon chips were wonderful as ever! I think we'll just stick to dinner.
I FREQUENTLY EAT HERE AND I AM VERY BIG ON TIME FACTOR. I ARRIVED PROMPTLY AT 855 PM, BUT WAS NOT SEATED UNTIL 930. I FIND THIS TO BE A PROBLEM.
This was me and my husband first time at Two Urban Licks, we had a great time, we can't wait to go back again!
Ive been here a few years back and I remember the food being good but I was really disappointed this time. Honestly if I get a free meal from here, I would not eat it. 🤮 The noise level is extremely obnoxious; you cannot hear each other speak. The food portions are pretty large but they definitely substituted the quality. The chicken looked like it was from Pollo tropical and the mac and cheese looked like it was from a frozen meal from Kroger. It was unappetizing and I left the restaurant feeling angry at the quality and service.
Great food, wonderful atmosphere, will go back. Better signage would be great, it was very hard to find.
The hostess was rude and I sensed an attitude. I asked for a lower table to accommodate my lunch guests (one of my guests was handicapped and the hostess placed us at at high table on the patio). When I kindly asked if there was another table option, the hostess replied with a short tone and she cut me off as I was asking a very simple question. Two urban licks used to offer a spectacular experience and seemed to have taken immense pride in their level of service. I’m not sure what has changed, but unfortunately this will be my last visit to Two urban licks.
Simply fantastic the food was superior and the staff friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Now let’s talk about the empanadas OMG they are to die for my quest from out of town we’re just floored by it all. Thanks guys and keep up the great work. See y’all soon cause I’m coming back for more empanadas and old fashions .
Great evening! Food was wonderful. Our server was outstanding. The ambiance is fabulous!
I have dined at Two Urban licks on multiple occasions, but have never experienced the poor service I received this past Friday. I was excited to entertain work colleagues who were in town for an event, but the poor service we received from our server made me wish I had reservations at another restaurant. Outside of asking if we could move to a different table in his section because the sun was blinding our eyes and being told to walk to the hostess stand and ask them. To drinks taking forever to arrive and poor suggestions on the menu to his non attentiveness it was not an enjoyable dining experience. I was a server for many years in my 20’s and I knew then when it was time to give it a rest. Our server was an older man who probably needs to find another line of work. He just didn’t appear to care.
Melissa was a great server there with wonderful recommendations. Great menu and found was outstanding
worth the price and a nice evening on the Beltline
Reserving a table was super simple. We were seated promptly! Service was excellent and the food deliciousness!
This was my third visit and the service and food were excellent again!
