The service was very slow the table was dirty
It took forever to get a drink. Our plan was to have dinner there, but we left because the service was so bad.
We ordered Drinks we sent them back because they were terrible. The remake of the drinks. Were good.
It appears to have a great atmosphere but I dont think I will go back.
We stayed at the hotel for the weekend which was quirky, unique, lovely; however, Two Mules was a ridiculous disservice to the hotel. There was one waitress for multiple tables, order had to be repeated and reminded, the food was the worst dining experience we have had in a long time. Neither of us could eat our meals, it was that poorly done. Everywhere else we ate in Dallas for the weekend was incredible!! Again, Hotel is AMAZING!
We made reservations using open table, I was running late about 10 mins so I called the restaurant and informed them about my delay. When I arrived at the place, they were totally surprised seeing a large group and then started setting tables. We had to wait 20 mins for them to set up tables( we were the only group)
After being seated we only got 3 menus for our table of 11. The waiter was the most rude person in the restaurant, when I asked him for the drink menu, he said we have everything you just tell me what you want. He also reprimanded my mom who was our special guest and the oldest in the group asking her to be quite when she was talking to her grand kids and suggesting them over the menu. He didn’t stop there, he gave us instructions on how he was going to take our order and how we should be prepared to answer. He asked my daughter to sit properly when she tilted her chair to grab something that fell off. I have never encountered just courage to behave so impolitely.
Everything was a delay from taking our order to making drinks and bringing them to the table. No complimentary chips or salsa until we asked for them since the kids (5) were hungry.
They did not inform us of about being short staffed with only one chef. We only got 3 orders after waiting for an hour. The rest of the food came packed for us to take out since we wanted to go elsewhere to eat.
All this could have been avoided if they only communicated their side of the problem.
The Manager was a gem of a person who was kind and very very patient. We will definitely go back only because he was genuinely interested in seeing us back at the restaurant and apologized. Overall the service was poor but the location and ambiance is excellent.
This place has so much potential - it's beautifully decorated and has a great location. However, the waitstaff failed when it came to our service. The restaurant was hardly full and nobody came to help us. We had to physically go ask for menus and that didn't even tip them off we hadn't been helped. It took an hour and a half to get our food - we were almost late for our show. The food was sub-par as well. Very disappointed!
