Two Brothers Round House
In addition to being a full-service restaurant and brew pub, Two Brothers Roundhouse also offers banquet space for a variety of get-togethers, large and small as well as a music venue and the Two Brothers Cafe and Beer Bar. Situated in the oldest limestone roundhouse in the US, its 70,000 square foot facility is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. The Two Brothers Roundhouse menu starts you off with an appetizer of chimichurri nachos, Brussels sprouts or beer brezen, just to name a few, and follows that up with favorites such as autumn scallops, goat risotto or duck 'n grits in addition to a wealth of other entrees, burgers and sandwiches.
Passion for beer, a love of food and live entertainment with a decidedly local flair flourish inside the granite walls of the Two Brothers Roundhouse.
4 teachers went to Two Brothers after attending August Rush at The Paramount. We had a delightful time and enjoyed the variety of food choices offered. We had soup, salads, and pretzels for appetizers. We cut the three large warm prezels in half and quarters and loved both dipping sauces. Two gals had sandwiches and found them delicious and the special Amish Baked Chicken dinner was such a generous portion half went home for another meal. The othe dinner of Short Ribs was equally great with a special mashed sweet potato side. We had a wonderful waitress who checked with us frequently to make sure everything was good. We had not been to Two Brothers for several years and plan to return when attending The Paramount again. No need to travel far to find a great menu, wonderful service, and a fun atmosphere!
Two Brothers is great for pre-show at Paramount Theatre. It’s a lively historic atmosphere , good food and our server was attentive and timely.
Great place to eat and drink before going to a play at the Paramount theatre!
Loved the beer and the food was absolutely amazing. Short rib sandwich was a big win
Roundhouse is such a unique building. And its really cool what Two Brothers has done with it. I'd love to come back and sit in the courtyard when it finally warms up! Our server in the bar was great. It was a rainy day. So we happily sat next to the fireplace. We really enjoyed the scallops small plate that we shared as an appetizer. It was delicious. My husband ordered the whitefish. He said the flavors were really good. But his fish portion was very small. I have had the portobello at the AZ location so I was very excited to have it again. However, this one was completely dry. Normally, portobello is sauteed in a balsamic or some dressing to help flavor it up. But that was not the case. It came just the mushroom, cheese and a tapenade spread (which was just OK). I asked for the sriracha mayo on the side since I wasn't sure how spicy it would be and a side of regular mayo (which I ended up mixing together to get a better balance of flavor). I was disappointed that there wasn't more to the sandwich...lettuce, tomato... I used some of my husbands spinach to try to help it out. We did enjoy the Brussel sprouts as a side with our meals. Overall, we had a nice meal. I just won't order the portobello if we return.
I asked for a table that was more secluded and not too much noise. We were totally accommodated with my request. I will definitely return to this restaurant in the near future.
Great place for a pre-theater meal. It is close enough that walking to the Paramount is very easy especially on a nice night.
I ORDERED A HAMBERGER AND ASKED THAT IT BE SERVED RARE. IT CAME MEDIUM WELL. I USUALLY LIKE THE OFFERINGS BUT TODAY I WAS QUITE DISSAPPOINTED
We were sat next to a party a little league champions so our experience, that day, but a little bit loud. That is not been my experience all the time. Two brothers is a great place to find excellent food, good service and a great ambience
Just ok. Was excited because it was the former Walter Payton Roundhouse & thought they would add a Two-Brothers Theme to the place but they did not. Cafe looks real nice. Not worth the 1 hour trip from Chicago. Food, Service, Host just ok.
Beer was at at best average and we expected much more. Food was average except for the brussel spouts appetizer that was excellent. The ostrich burger might as well have been beef. Nothing distinctive. Our server was great. Attentive, engaging and helpful. The space was tired, empty and a bit depressing. Maybe at a later time and on another night it would be more energetic.
Food was great. The restaurant was very busy, especially for a Sunday dinner. That may have contributed to the very slow service. It took about an hour to get a round of drinks and place our order. Once the food order was placed everything ran well.
We enjoyed our visit after not visiting this restaurant for several years. We celebrated our son's graduation form Aurora University. All enjoyed their food and the venue.
Great place. Good food. Casual place to meet friends and get a good beer!
Food was just ok. Super loud music made it difficult to converse. Service was adequate.
Other than sitting in an area that had a cold breeze blowing on us our meal was very goid
Didn’t care for drink- very tart. Steak tacos had a heavy flavor of some spice yet were tasteless
great variety on menu. Server split wine bottle among guests. Great lunch.
We were a party of eight and the service was excellent. The menu has enough variety that I believe everyone found something they liked.
Delicious food and great beer!
Service was well-timed and friendly, food and beer were affordable."
The architecture is fun and unique. Service was incredibly slow and inattentive, though friendly when the server showed up. Food very average. Beer selections were fun, but very few ambers/reds.
Always love the outside seating. Food is always yummy though a little expensive for what it is.
We had a great visit to the Two Brothers Roundhouse recently. It was our first visit and the staff helped us to learn about various food and options. We were there with five adults and two elementary-aged kids, and the food options were fair, along with having an environment that was entertaining for the kids. We were able to walk around a bit to explore and the place is really amazing. It is definitely worth a visit!
Two words. Spinach dip. First and definitely not the last time I’ll be ordering it!
Great dining experience! It was a bit chilly in the dining room, but every other aspect of our time at the Roundhouse was excellent.
Let’s see...freezing cold at table top area surrounding bar...the side of broccoli was actually cold...been here many times and was never this poor of an experience...
Our server, Sergio, was outstanding! I was a little disappointed at the lack of seafood options, though. They had salmon, mahi and a small plate of scallops. I expected more variety from the menu.
La comida excelente y la atención igual!! Nos encantó!
The roundhouse is always good. Portions are large and there is a good selection of their beers.
Great tasting food and timely service. I would highly recommend Two Brothers Round House for any occasion.
Food and service was great. Great find. Definitely will return.
We chose Two Brothers for my father's birthday lunch and it was a great choice for everyone--picky and not so picky eaters alike. Plus, for those drinking, the beer choices were great, and for those who wanted coffee afterwards for the drive home, they had plenty of options as well. Great service, great food. Looking forward to going back!
We were dining in the bar area before the live music and service was fine, but when it started to get busier, we couldn’t find any servers.
Consistently great food and service. Nice ambiance.
We will never return. The food was cold and lacking flavor. The place is dirty. Poor service starting with the hostesses. Wish I didn’t valet - car reeked of cigarette smoke.
Fast and friendly service. Historic looking building. Food was amazing. All of that and this was our first time there. Will be returning.
Very unique building. Look forward to coming back in warmer weather for music on the patio.
You've done wonders with the place! Service was very good. Green bean were good, but just a little bit under-done. Otherwise, food was excellent. Don't usually go for the IPAs, but your 20th Anniversary version was well-balanced, not too hoppy, and very smooth. Loved it! Had the oatmeal stout first; it was very good as well.
Great place for dinner prior to seeing a show at the Paramount Theater.
