Two Brothers Round House
In addition to being a full-service restaurant and brew pub, Two Brothers Roundhouse also offers banquet space for a variety of get-togethers, large and small as well as a music venue and the Two Brothers Cafe and Beer Bar. Situated in the oldest limestone roundhouse in the US, its 70,000 square foot facility is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. The Two Brothers Roundhouse menu starts you off with an appetizer of chimichurri nachos, Brussels sprouts or beer brezen, just to name a few, and follows that up with favorites such as autumn scallops, goat risotto or duck 'n grits in addition to a wealth of other entrees, burgers and sandwiches.
Passion for beer, a love of food and live entertainment with a decidedly local flair flourish inside the granite walls of the Two Brothers Roundhouse.
Food sub par drinks were not good. I ordered a Bailey's and coffee was brought a cup of coffee 15 minutes later I was brought Kahlua in a glass, I sent back the Kahula and was brought some thing that might have been an off brand Irish cream but was not Bailey's . By this time the coffee was stone cold.
Eight of us sat/ate in the Tavern then hung around to see two different bands play that night. Food and drink was good and service was attentive. All in all a great time.
The food is ok and probably average at best. The reason to visit here is the ambiance and location. A fun night and interesting location.
Our waitress was great! Friendly, helful, genuine attentive and not overly attentive
Food was okay not a lot of selections for full meal, our was waitress did a good job, be forewarned if you have a favorite liquor such as Tanqueray or Bombay Sapphire or Jack Daniel's forget it. They recently started distilling their own liquor. I am a gin drinker and their gin SUCKS. Wine offerings sucked.
The service was excellent. The food was very good, definitely above average. The portions were abundant. I had the cob salad, two of my friends had the crusting and roasted sweet potato special and two others had the chicken and pasta special, everyone was pleased. Our only complaint was that we were seated by a pair of double doors and there was a cold draft coming in.
The menu is very limited, the food was just ok, and the service was awful. We won't be back
I am a frequent visitor to the Roundhouse. There is always something happening...great music, brew and view movie nights, comedy nights. The food and service is a cut above and top notch booze....what more could you ask for?
Nothing to inspiring. It's just a convenient meeting place.
While this was our first visit - probably wouldn’t return as my husband is not a beer or wine drinker
And was a little disappointed in the alcohol offerings
However the Food was good
Not a good value. Unfortunately it's one of the only good choices for pre-Paramount Theater dining. We will eat closer to home prior to coming to downtown Aurora in the future.
Service very slow that night. Wanted a long time for drinks and order to be taken
Food was delicious! We enjoyed our cinnamon root beer too! Had lunch with the girls prior to going to the theater. Will definitely return!
Nice atmosphere, excellent service, extensive beer list, delicious entrees
The environment was good and inviting. They have a nice fireplace in the dining area. The fish tacos were excellent, but our waitress wasn’t very friendly and she never smiled. Overall my friend and I had a pretty fun night.
Terrible would not go back
Service was very good. Our meals came out much sooner than we had expected. We did stay and had 2 rounds of drinks after our meal and didn't feel pressured to leave which was nice
Took a party of 6 for post-theater early dinner. All enjoyed a casual meal, including 2 fussy preteens. We loved the Brussel Sprout appetizer. Will definitely order again. Three of us ordered the special Reuben sandwich...generous portion and delicious!
My first time here since it was Walter Payton's Roundhouse! Very satisfied with food, service and ambiance. I will definitely return and would highly recommend. Thanks!
Our family group of 20 came here after seeing a play at the Paramount Aurora. Our plans were made in advance with the general manager Eddie and he was spot on with his recommendations. We were seated immediately and our advance ordered appetizers were ready within five minutes. Our server Ann was incredible and extraordinary along with the support staff. Orders were taken, food was served timely and all our requests were handled with the utmost skill and congeniality. Can’t say enough about how pleased everyone in our group was with our experience at this restaurant. Many thanks!!
Good food, but they messed up both of our orders. We didn’t matte because the food was good anyway, but it was just strange that both orders were wrong. Would go again!
It was pretty good
Fantastic service at bar and table; delicious food
Service left something to be desired. Waited 5 minutes for a hello at our table. Rather busy and maybe even short staffed for a Wednesday night. However, the food was pretty good. Wings (red hot) so good we got an order to go as well just for a late night snack) and the short rib sandwich was good but seemed to be missing something... like lettuce maybe?? And the house made ranch was excellent!! Had it on a side salad which was decent but would have been better with a little cheese and croutons. Overall good food and would go back again.
The service wasn’t good. It took forever for our waitress to come by after bringing us water. The food wasn’t very good either. Overall, very disappointed. This was our first visit and probably our last.
Food was very good. Service was quick and attentive
Loved the band Ready Freddie’s!
Service was poor, food was OK.
Nothing like it used to be at Christmas with the fireplaces lit outside and reindeer.
Will not return.
We chose Two Brothers from a list on the Paramount Theatre website. It was very good choice. We enjoyed our lunch!
The atmosphere was perfect for a holiday lunch! The restaurant had a 'lodge' feel, pretty Christmas décor and warm feeling. The food and service were excellent. We will be dining again soon!
Always an excellent time st Two Brothers Roundhouse
This place has good ambience -- it is really the only nice place in downtown Aurora if you attend the Paramount. Warnings -- Two brothers only sells their own brands of liguor, so our attempts to get normal call brands of liquor were futile. They have "small plates," which indeed are very small portions -- 2 small plates were about the price of an entree, but didn't have a lot of food. Entree food portions are pretty small too, so folks who ordered an entree liked the food but came away a tad hungry...except for one person who got a burger. So, in our party, no one was able to get their drink of choice, and while the food was good, portions were very skimpy if you want a real dinner.
Food was so-so. No flavor in the short rib sandwich. House chips seemed like the bottom of the bag all broken into small pieces. Beer was good though.
First time at the Restaurant before going to a play at the Paramount! Loved the atmosphere and history! Food and beer was great! We will be back!
Our server was spot on as well as those helping her. Sometimes with a group of 11 like us, it can be crazy...from cocktails through dessert it was a great experience 👍
Had the ribeye chefs special. It was not good at all. Probably the worst streak I ever had. We where in a group of eight and three of us got the special and all three where done very badly. Just overall a bad cut of meat and poorly cooked and everyones steak was cold. The potatoe and green beans where plain. Had to ask three times for butter for the potatoe. Service was great though, no fault of our server. Love the atmosphere.
Parking was a nightmare, seemed like the only way to get a parking spot was to use valet since they blocked off more than half the lot for it. Waiter took forever to come back to the table to just take our food order then didn't come back to make sure we had everything. When their menu says small plates, they mean it. I ordered the pork belly tacos. They were ok, but lacking a bit of flavor and overpriced for what you actually get, $8.00 for 2 very small tacos.
Very good experience. The Brewers Reuben was fantastic. Definitely will go back.
Greatly diverse menu with consistant food preperation. The atmosphere in the Roundhouse is always magical. The staff at the front greating desk are very nice.
Perfect spot to enjoy before and after
Shows at Paramount Theatre.
Thank you very much.
