If you're tired of the same old food, this is the place to go in Park City.
One of our favorite restaurants In town. We go as often as we can as locals and are love taking visitors there as well. Some of the best food and Parkcity without the hassles of traffic and crowds on main street.
Both our entrees and appetizers were fit for foodies....just delicious. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The one question he was unsure of the answer about, he returned from the kitchen with the definitive answer- something I really appreciated.
Had a really nice meal. Staff was a little overwhelmed but the bartender and manager came out and helped our waiter.
I was so pleased with our dinner on Sunday night. I have had lunch and dinner at Twisted Fern several times since its opening and they have matured into one great restaurant. The fried brussels sprouts were delicious and really not fried but a wonderful mixture of seasonings that it was sautéed in. The fish special was divine and my friend loved her homemade soup- I forget the name but had butternut squash..somehow light and substantial on a snowy night in Park City.
Three very good main courses: special scallops, tender double-thick pork chop and burger with fries.
Terrific restaurant. Fancy restaurant that doesn’t cost much. Casual dressing. The inside was clean and the people we were awesome! Food was amazing. BBQ sauce and ketchup was homemade so it tasted so good. Great place for dates!
Loved the food. The combinations of flavors were creative and unique. Definitely going there again.
Dinner with friends was great- two of us had the short ribs and they melted in your mouth. an other friend raved about the hamburger-except it was so big. She couldn't finish it. Friendly and prompt service.
A local friend recommended this place for a dinner with my husband and 10 year old daughter.
This place is an absolute gem. I personally loved the atmosphere as it's got a mid-century modern kind of vibe that allows the food and service to shine.
We loved the seasonal dishes and appreciate the mindful approach.
We started with the potato chips and whiskey onion dip (my daughter's choice.) I wish I could make onion dip like that.
The grown ups opted from the brussel sprouts (really good) and the seasonal soup - Butternut squash posole.
A few comments about this soup.
I was warned it was spicy. It was, but I love spicy.
When I first tasted it, I though it could use more salt. But, I decided to trust the chef and I continued to take a few bites. It's a very delicate soup, which is surprising considering the Hatch chilis.
I found that I really appreciated the complexity of this dish, especially after if cooled quite a bit. The flavors really came out and were well balanced. The squeeze of lime is key!
For the main dish, I opted for the veg cassoulet. It's more or a veg stew. Good nonetheless.
My husband ordered the Shorty Melt- Braised short rib, rye bread, Gruyère cheese, garlic pickles, 1000 Island dressing, apple-bacon sauerkraut, fried egg. He won! This was awesome!
My daughter had the kids cheeseburger w fries. The meat was cooked to death. It was still flavorful, but I would have appreciated my daughter being asked how she wanted it cooked. She is a medium-rare girl. We have taught her well :)
We finished with the brownie sundae. Another winner.
All told, with a bottle of wine (it was on special and we got a deal on this), tea for my daughter, apps, soup, entrees, dessert and tip, we were out of there for a little over $130. Smoking deal for sure considering the quality of the food and service.
Give this place a shot and support a local restaurant and the purveyors who supply it!
Cute place. Food was delicious! The octopus was incredible and not chewy.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Nice atmosphere. Hostess could have a better attitude. Would appreciate straws, even paper straws.
The service was good but the food was mediocre at best. They try to be hipster by making their own sirach ( flavorless) and their own ketchup ( bland and watered down) it’s overpriced for what you get.We paid $45 and we’re hungry when we left; not a memorable place. The service was great, but the food was extremely disappointing to say the least. We won’t be back nor will we recommend.
Great local find while we spent a few days in Park City! We are here off season and it was a bit quiet but I can only assume this place fills up super quickly- everything we ate was amazing. Unique flavor combinations and great menu items to choose from. Will definitely return!
Great meal. Wonderful service. Excellent choices for vegan and non-vegan alike!
Wonderful trout! Excellent Brussel sprout appetizer.
Tremendous value as an “off Main Street” venue.
Worth checking out. Will definitely return.
Great atmosphere, friendly and prompt service, delicious real food (seasonal), and reasonably priced for value of meal.
Food and service were very good but wish there were a few more entree options on the dinner menu. Fairly narrow selection of different proteins.
Very good meal - my entire family of 6 was very satisfied.
This funky little place, not far from the main drag in Park City, has a very cozy feeling to it; sort of like a neighborhood bistro. The scallop appetizer was remarkable. The menu was quite eclectic ranging from burgers to cassoulet. The burger I had was incredible. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Our server was personable and timed the food service quite well. If you try dessert, I recommend the Coconut Pudding. It was wonderful. All in all it was a very pleasant dining experience. I plan to return.
Food was great and service was as well
Excellent service and delicious food and wine pairing
Excellent food , from beginning to end .We shared all of it because we were jealous of each other.
Casual elegance with tasteful decor and equally tasteful food and beverages.
Small but lovely. True farm to table. Nice wine by the glass menu. Great vegan and vegetarian options. Wonderful, attentive service.
Something was off the night we were there. Whereas Twisted Fern typically has a great menu, friendly and efficient service, and a warm feel, we experienced none of these during our last visit. First off, we were greeted by the maitre d' with a bit of a distracted scowl, despite having made a reservation. Our waiter was in training, and the lack of support staff meant that he was flailing a bit, including forgetting our drinks and serving appetizers and dinner at the same time after a very long wait. Everyone seemed tense the entire night. It just wasn't the same. (Important to note that the maitre d' did comp our appetizers, which was much appreciated.) I hope things return to normal soon. It's a wonderful place, and we would like to go back again.
Food was great, and service to match. Great night out. Thanks
Nice discussion with owner
The menu was very creative. A number of vegetarian and vegan options. I had the chicken fried portobello mushroom with cauliflower grits, asparagus and pickled carrots. Everything was well prepared and the flavors were very complimentary. We shared the smoked eggplant caprese. I thought it was yummy but my husband doesn't tolerate garlic so only ate a small amount of the eggplant. Some nice choices on the dessert menu and we were tempted but too full. Maybe next time!
Food was perfect. Staff amazing. One if our favorite places.
Great food and value. Everything was ver fresh and tasty.
Went here after horseback riding with the birthday girl (my girlfriend)
We first ordered a beer and she orders a cocktail she genuinely enjoyed...
App: we got the wings which were VERY good! So we figured the rest of the lunch would be as well...
Lunch: I ordered the Shorty Melt (open faced) it was dry...very dry
She ordered the burger medium rare and hers was cooked perfectly but had absolutely no taste from the onion spread or anything else on that burger...
I looked up a few lunch places in park city so after our ride we could have a planned meal and I was greatly disappointed for a chef that was voted one of the top chefs....
Our server was a cool guy so that’s where they had me BUT they don’t even keep up with the restrooms...
Food & wine was good except service was incredibly slow. They did have a big party that evening, and seemed a bit short staffed.
It was over 20 minutes for our appetizer, that I thought they forgot. The party next to us inquired about their food and the waiter said something to the effect that “some of these people had reservations.” WTH does that mean? We had reservations and our service wasn’t any better.
Will go back, just don’t be in a hurry to go anywhere afterwards.
Marginal in every way. Not sure where the really high ratings come from, but this was a bit of a dud. I think the frozen bread was the final straw.
We can't rave enough about this restaurant. The cuisine is very creative and innovative for a very reasonable price point. A true gem for all, but especially for vegans and vegetarians, this restaurant offers a number of wonderful well balanced plant -forward selections.
Quite surprising.. Excellent ambiance, attention, and food. A good find.
Lovely delicious burger and great fries with homemade ketsup. Also wings in duck fat were great
Always a great time at The Twisted Fern. The food is fantastic & there’s something for everyone. Service is great and casual all at the same time. No snobs here!
What an amazing find this was in Park City. We highly recommend a visit! Our group was 6 friends visiting and we happened upon this restaurant. Walking distance from our condo made it even nicer. For someone with food allergies, they made it so easy to order a delicious meal. The food was beautiful and amazing. Even the coffee was unbelievably good! Run, don't walk to Twisted Fern!
Loved the food! Not one complaint from 5 of us. We all had different entrees and were very pleased. We had every option of desert and loved the Olive Oil cake, banana pudding and lemon basil cheese cake! I enjoyed the Dented Daiquiri. We will definitely be back. The only suggestion I would have is to put cloth up for sound dampening. I am one of those people who enjoy a little quieter atmosphere to hold a conversation. Service was great.
Great burgers Love the outdoor tables and setting
