Excellent food and service. Natasha was an excellent server. She was attentive and offered great suggestions. Highly recommended.
We usually have a great meal here but tonight it was not great. Hope it was just an off night and not the new normal.
We really enjoyed our dinner. Great food, service and ambiance.
Perfect place for our special occasion. The service was excellent, the food was wonderful.
Amazing food and great friendly service, we went to Twin Owls Steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary and they gave us free champagne.
We will be back.
This is a high quality, top shelf restaurant, the food is delicious and perfectly prepared, the hospitality and service are excellent. Situated in a rustic cabin setting, this place is a rare find.
We had the 4 x 4 filet and lobster and were very pleased! The warm baked bread was excellent. The carrot cake and the chocolate mousse cake were superb. Our service was attentive and consistent. And as always, we love the ambiance.
Twin owls is our favorite restaurant spot to visit when we're in Estes Park. It has some of the best steaks we've ever tasted and includes interesting meats such as elk, bison, duck, pork belly, and the list goes on. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the location is gorgeous.
This is the second time we have dined here and we love it. I highly recommend the Elk Medallions, medium-rare. Great location with a cabin-like ambiance. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they are willing to work with dietary restrictions. Great choice if you follow a Paleo style diet.
This restaurant is only open on the weekends for dinner, opening around 5pm. Inside, it has a large fireplace, lots of windows, and is rustic in theme. People are friendly and service is very good. I found the food choices excellent and varied. The lamb chops were delicious as were the steaks. I would definitely go again when up in Estes Park.
We dined at Twin Owls on Saturday the 31st. While the food was excellent the service was less than exemplary. Our server Blair, took our food order, then disappeared until she produced the check. The lady filling our water glasses was excellent and we never went dry during the entire meal. The young lady at the reception podium failed to acknowledge our departure or inquire about our experience. All little things but we expected more from a restaurant that is supposed to be on the upper end of quality, price and service in Estes Park Colorado.
The dinner was wonderful, and the wait person was great! We love this place---it's our favorite in the area.
We had an excellent meal of pork chops, prime rib and a burger done to perfection. The waiter Sergei was perfect in timing of checking on our needs. The scenery by the rock is magnificent.
Highly recommend Twin Owls Steakhouse.
Fantastic staff and comfortable log 'home' feel. Easy to hear the people at the table. Highly recommend this place.
The food was excellent. The service only blah. Our waitress seemed to feel we were a burden and even asked for our check to be paid before we were ready to leave. We were thinking of an after dinner drink and dessert but didn't bother. She didn't even wait for us to leave, just came by and picked up the check. We took the hint...
My wife and I dined at Twin Owls Steakhouse for our anniversary. We were seated at a cozy table for two in front the main diningroom's fireplace. Our waiter (Val) was very attentive even though he was taking care of several other tables. He made several suggestions that really enhanced our dining experience. The food was superb from start to finish, and the atmosphere was relaxed and full of Rocky Mountain charm. We would highly recommend Twin Owls.
My wife and I had our 30th anniversary here on March 24th. We were seated at a table for two by a front window with a wonderful view. A guitarist played very pleasant music and the service and food were excellent. I look forward to a visit in the future. Thank you Twin Owls!
Great food in a beautiful setting
Lodge style dark ambiance. Friendly staff. Great food, $$. Great for a special occasion. Classical guitarist was a nice touch, but needs work on repertoire (a bit cringworthy).
Great place to eat and the food was excellent, the bison prime rib was incredible
The restaurant was very pretty. The service was great. The food was very very bland. We had to salt everything, and we don't eat a lot of salt.
Very over priced for what was served. I should of went to a different steakhouse, just as expensive, where the food was worth it.
I will not be going back, i would suggest no one goes to this restaurant.
Delicious meal in a beautiful setting!
We dinned here for our anniversary, and though we didn’t tell anyone, they treated us as if they knew! We were seated in a beautifully secluded romantic spot on the upper level overlooking the dinning room and the staff served us very well! The food was also amazing! Exactly what we were looking for, to treat ourselves to a nice meal to celebrate 20 years of marriage. This was a wonderful evening!!
Just lovely. The food was delicious, the pace was perfect and the service excellent !
The food was tasty and more expensive than necessary. Service was a little overbearing in terms of "telling us what we wanted". 2 of the 4 entrees were not prepared correctly on the first try.
Beef was great, carrot cake was huge and amazing, but the tuna was bad, hardly edible. Service was just ok.
Very nice atmosphere, excellent food and service! Will definitely return!
We live out of town, but every time we make a trip to Estes Park, twin owls steakhouse is always a must!!
Food was just okay. Don't get the pasta. For the price, I would have expected better than packaged pasta and sauce.
We are from out of state and ate at Twin Owls for our anniversary. We were extremely impressed! The service was outstanding and the food, super delicious! The ambiance was romantic and the perfect setting for our anniversary dinner! We’ve already given high praises to this restaurant to many people we know. We will definitely be returning!
The main dishes was ok at best. The trout was in no way worth the money and the ribeye was close. The trout fishing was very bland and boring. The ribeye dish was a bit better but still lacked flavor. I also asked to nix the vegetables and they told me no, but I would have gladly paid more to substitute it for a salad. I was given a lame excuse "the chef doesn't do that." Well not impressed. If the "chef" is so determined to be so sure of himself then I expect way better quality of food. We did enjoy the cheese platter and bread though. So if you want to sit down around a cheese platter and bread then this is the place. Otherwise save your money.
We had a very peaceful delicious dinner. Great bar selection (actually has Breckenridge bitters) and a nice wine list. Portions were nice size, presentation and taste was excellent.
Only one thing that was wrong was it was cold, would have asked to set in front of the fire if we would have known. Other than that everything was wonderful
It was okay. Service not very good and food was just okay. The building was nice and the musician playing was very good. Price for the quality of the food was not good.
We spent the evening at Twin Owls Steakhouse with a party of 11 after a small wedding ceremony in Rocky Mountain National Park. It was the perfect evening, and we could not have asked for better service by the staff at Twin Owls. Our server catered to every need, brought out complimentary champagne to the bride and groom, explained every special on the menu and gave recommendations. There was a guitarist who played instrumental love songs throughout the night and set the tone. I can not say enough good things about the restaurant, and highly recommend to anyone visiting Estes Park. Thank you, Twin Owls!
My husband and I had an amazing meal here. We were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and it was everything we were wanting and more. Very romantic, beautiful location with a gorgeous view. I had requested to sit by the fireplace which was so nice and made the experience that much better. Probably the most expensive meal I've paid for but it was absolutely worth every penny. Those chefs know what they are doing!!!!
My husband and I are on our honeymoon and before departing for Denver we wanted to enjoy a nice, intimate dinner, Twin Owls knocked it out of the park! The food was amazing, and our server Natasha was very attentive and always had a smile on her face! When we vacation in Estes Park again we will definitely return to the Two Owls!!!
This is probably my 10th visit to Twin Owls and I come here about every other time I come to Estes. Service is always great but the food can be spotty from year to year. I generally go with the elk medallions because it is their signature dish and it is always very good - order on the rare side of medium rare for the best flavor - really delicious. My wife had the short ribs which were surprisingly dry; kind of a hard dish to dry out. We had a little on with us this time and she was well cared for. One of the best atmospheres for dining in Estes - beautiful open dining room with lodge pole frame and a nice fireplace and great windows - it seems it is always snowing when we eat here and it is truly beautiful during your meal!
Place was great! A little pricey but the food was great so it wasn’t a huge deal. If you’ve never been, it’s definitely worth the trip.
Great date night. Waiting bar is cozy, but has a great bartender. Bacon wrapped scallops and onion soup were equally excellent. Ribeye was perfectly prepared and served. Atmosphere was very quiet with a quiet guitarist. Overall, a fabulous evening.
