Had a great Thanksgiving dinner at TC400!! Wonderful food, attentive service and a fun, casual atmosphere. Highly recommended!!
Friendly staff who were helpful and kind. Not overbearing but attentive. Delicious brunch. Will be back!
I made reservations for eight people for last Saturday night. We were seated in the bar area which was very loud. Our waitress didn’t come to our table for ten minutes. We asked for the Happy Hour specials and she said there was no HH on weekends. We told her that their website showed HH on Saturdays. She said she would check. Then she took our drink order and came back with two drinks different than what we ordered. She gave us HH menus. She would be gone for long periods of time and we had to either search her out or run to the bar ourselves which was irritating. When she finally would come to our table, she would take a drink or food order and try to quickly walk away! We would have to holler to her that others wanted drinks and food, too! It was pretty ridiculous. The food was fine but the service totally ruined the evening.
We went on a Saturday night so we expected it to be busy and it was. But that was no excuse for the poor service. There should have been more wait staff. Service was very slow. I asked for a taste of two different wines before I ordered one and was told by the waitress that she would have to stand in line for that. I ended up ordering a wine I didn't care for. It was also very noisy. There were not many choices on sides. Only 2 potato choices and no choice on salad dressing. My steak was actually very good but my husband's dinner he did not care for at all. It's unlikely we will go back.
Overall great food and atmosphere. Our server was slow and got confused. Wasn’t new as my friend had had her previously weeks before. Not knowledgeable about menu which is key on this foody town. I’ll be back. This was our fourth time.
The menu is similar to other restaurants but we all thought the food was well prepared and nicely served. Good burgers, good fish and chips. Salads looked good but we didn’t have them.
Service was very good.
Noise level too high - especially with young kids near us
Great food at a reasonable price and setup so that they can handle large groups easily. Their Reuben is my favorite in the metro area. I'm not sure if it's the sauerkraut or the dressing, but one of those combined with perfectly toasted bread means I haven't ordered anything else off their menu since I had it.
Always enjoy TC400!! It's become a brunch staple for us and we're never disappointed. Good food; good service (thanks, David!!) and a great value.
We placed our appetizer order, and 15 minutes later we placed our meal order in and we got our appetizers about 10 minutes before we got our meals, I was disappointed in how long it took to get the appetizers and not enough time eat them before we got our main meals
Nwabi was a wonderful waitress. It was so busy but she was so awesome! The food was delicious! Among the 4 of us, we had the chicken noodle soup and side salad, a cheeseburger, and two of us split the baked eggs. It was excellent! Nice and cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
Delicious food!!! The Not Your Grandmother’s Swedish Pancakes filled with a sweetened cream cheese and topped with a blueberry compote were divine. The burrata salad was so tasty and the bloody mix on the bloody bar was amazing! Not thick, spicy, and just the right amount of seasoning, with a good amount of sides to choose from including bacon! We will be back!!
Very poor brunch food options. Dirty tables throughout the restaurant. Staff didn’t seem to care much about anything.
food was okay
Came here for a small team lunch for work--the three of us were fed for under $40 and we walked out talking about how delicious it was. Definitely coming back, and possibly booking the private dining room for larger work functions.
love this place... good service, good food, good fun! will definitely go back. my family comes here every week after golf!
All four of us thought our food was excellent (hangover burger, fried chicken sandwich, chicken soup, and french dip). I appreciated that I could sub a side salad for fries without an up charge. They take reservations and had our table ready on time. The service was great and the prices reasonable for the amount of food. It was a reunion with a distant relative and it was quiet enough that we could all hear other easily. We'll definitely be back.
The service was fine, but the food and drinks were pedestrian at best. Okay, but not a place where I'm likely to return.
Good selection of beer. Fish and chips were to my liking.
Consistently great food and very good service. Must try their rotisserie chicken or fish and chips.
Love TC400 and am there fairly regularly. The food and service are always great--Thanks, David!! And the restaurant is a great value for the quality of the product.
Pleaseantly surprised. Food delicious. Prices reasonable. First visit and won't be my last!!
We have eaten here a number of times, but it seems to be going down hill as far as both the food and the service.
Excellent, consistent, a must visit. Great happy hour specials, quality food and presentation-
Excellent service and food. Cobb salad was fresh and delicious.
Great service, great food, we will happily make this a regular place to go!
The food and service were both amazing!!!
I love this place!
My 22 yr old daughter heard of twin cities 400 through a friend and now it's one of our favorite restaurants. She just had her graduation dinner here on Sunday.
The food, drinks and service is always great, they haven't let me down yet!
Our server was great. The whole experience was outstanding. The food was delicious and not priced too high. Drinks were PHENOMENAL. The ambiance was great too.
We had a family brunch here for my daughter's graduation. We had great service. Our server paid for my daughter's mimosa. They let us bring in a bakery cake and they even cut and served it for us. Great value too!
Have liked this place for happy hour and past meals have been pretty good. This time the food was bland and not very hot. One in our party didn’t like his roast beef sandwich at all. Service was fine.
Restaurant is very loud and we had two elderly people with us. It was an okay meal but all six of us agreed we probably wouldn’t go back.
A neighborhood gem. Friendly service. Consistent good food. Quality ingredients and there is an emphasis on using fresh ingredients-particularly in salads and soups. Not what one would expect from a restaurant that's part of a hotel in the suburbs. Great pizza oven produces tasty pies. Menu is nicely varied and is updated seasonally. Good beer list and cocktails also demonstrate attention to detail. We visit almost weekly.
We live close by and have loved many of our experiences at Tavern400 but the last few times we've gone the service has been AWFUL--servers that disappear, drinks and entrees that don't arrive until we waive someone down to say, "We ordered 50 minutes ago...can someone find our server?" I want this place to be successful but they need to tighten up the front of house.
For the price... not worth it. Just bar food. The service was very good though
Service was amazing! The food was good. I will return for sure
been here several times and all times service and food was great, and value. thanks
Always enjoy dining at 400 Tavern - the food and service are always excellent
Food is good and it is also interesting! Staff very cordial and efficient.
Good location with easy parking.
Fun busy little place. Good happy hour
We have been here on many occasions. The food is always wonderful. My favorite is the rotisserie chicken sandwich. The prices are reasonable. We have had several larger groups and they always do a nice job. We have recommended to lots of others.
