   I LOVE the patio at Twigs. The plants and flowers are so beautiful and you would never know you are right downtown because it is somewhat secluded. The food is excellent! I'm a particular fan of the small plates and typically order one as an appetizer and a couple as my meal. There is also a nice choice of wine. I recently dined there with a friend on a perfect 75 degree Minnesota day. It's perfect!

   Hostess station disorganized and not attuned to customer service. Our party arrived on time for reservation. Table was not ready so we waited 15 minutes in hotel lobby. When we responded to text alert that our table was ready, the hostess was not aware we had been waiting and was cancelling our reservation. Then she kept us waiting another 5 minutes while attending to queries from other staff. It was very obvious we were at the bottom of her priorities. When the waiter led us to a table for 5 it had not been cleared and he had to pivot and seat us in a booth with a chair. Service improved at this point but the hostess station was incompetent and rude.

   Made a reservation on the patio, however, the weather was cooler than expected so I called around 12:30 to change to inside for a 5:30 reservation. When we got there they said we were on the patio and I said I called and changed it and the young man said”did they answer”? I said yes. I had to laugh! Food was good as usual and such a wide variety of food choices.

   Terrible service, it took 30 minutes for a waiter to acknowledge us and that was only after I said something. We had to ask for water and didn’t get our drinks till after our appetizer came and we receive our dinner . We were also brought the bill and not asked if we would like dessert. We ate here numerous times last year while at Mayo and it was wonderful but this year was down right terrible

    Food was excellent but service slow and was well below expectations. Drinks were exceptionally weak. Much room for improvement in service. Do’t waste your money on bar drinks.

    Asked for a booth and was denied. Booths were available but our usher told us they were reserved. When booking my reservation all that was asked is indoor or outdoor dinning.

    Excellent outdoor seating. Every table was full and it appeared all were enjoying the food and experience at Twigs. Fish tacos were excellent, salads were great too. No doubts or reservations about eating here again when in town.

    Taking my eighty-eight mother for Mother’s Day lunch. My girlfriend recommended the restaurant because of the small plates and patio dining. It was beautiful day with best conditions for outdoor dining.

    I have been getting treatment for cancer at Mayo Clinic and we found your wonderful restaurant. We celebrating being cancer free there. And when we came back for a checkup in a year, came to your restaurant to celebrate our 46th Wedding Anniversary. I love the ribs!

    We were there at 1:30 2:00 so not too busy. The waiter did a poor job, brought our salads with the main course, forgot the water, didn’t offer a refill of coke, we had to find him to get to go boxes and bill. Usually we have had good servers but disappointed yesterday!

    If you have a gluten allergy/intolerance or celiac disease, this is a wonderful place to eat. They have 2 kitchens - one specifically for gluten free cooking/baking! The prices were about what can be expected for a nice restaurant. ALL of the desserts are gluten free also! So, of course, I had to order a couple to go!

    Wow, I cannot say enough about our experience at Twigs. Each of the 4 of us enjoyed our food and drink choices. I especially loved the walleye in wine sauce with rice and spinach - it was easily the best preparation of walleye I’ve had. The prices, too, were so reasonable. We loved the warm and friendly atmosphere and we will definitely be back to enjoy dining outside in the beautiful garden space when things warm up here in MN!

    Great experience. We decided to try something/somewhere new. Since 1 of our party is gluten free. Twigs was our choice for dinner. She stated her gluten free meal was great. It was nice to have the same options as the rest of us. The gluten free menu also had the same prices as the regular menu which was also a nice added plus! Better yet, being able to go out to dinner and know her meal was perfectly safe was the best part! Our server Taylor was absolutely amazing. He was very attentive and welcomed us and answered all questions we had from the very beginning.

    Food was wonderful as always, our server was excellent (I think her name was Jadyn?) and it was a quiet enough spot that we could all chat comfortably around the table. We had a little hiccup with a kids pb&j and it was remedied quickly. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back.

    Excellent wait staff! My wife has a food allergy. Twig’s accommodated the problem And we enjoyed a good dinner. Recommend: try the Cook on a hot rock foods. Tasty and fun

    The food was great! We went specifically for the gluten free options. Loved everything we ate. Service was slow. This is our second time visiting and the service was great the first time. They were a little short staffed this time. I would definitely come back again. Love the gluten free options and the fact that there is a separate gluten free kitchen.
