Always delicious, beautiful ambiance whether inside or out, and the best service in town!
My adult daughter is gluten-free and Twigs took all of the stress of trying to find something she could eat. It was a wonderful dining experience. Thanks to the owners for going above and beyond in serving the gluten free population.
Had the apricot turkey sandwich. Portion large, absolutely delicious. Sweet potato fries crispy and sweet. Waitress very friendly and attentive. Easy to make reservations. Felt very safe from Covid.
Excellent food. Great service . Good atmosphere. Best meatloaf I ever had!
Great bartender. Awesome food.
We love eating at Twigs whenever we are in Rochester - works especially well for me as I have Celiac so must eat gluten free and they have the gluten free kitchen. Love, love, love their patio!
Nice outside setting
A bit of traffic but did not prevent conversion.
The milk that I ordered for my child had gone sour. Food was warm; not hot. Love the atmosphere and the food was very tasty. Cake was dry.
Lovely lunch outside. Attentive and funny waitstaff. Always great food. Thank you.
Not only do we love the cuisine at Twigs but the service, thanks to Denise, is spectacular! My highest recommendation for service, cuisine and ambience.
Overall experience was very good. Gotta be careful of those small plates, though. They can add up (financially) rather quickly because one wants to try several.
Very slow. We were there for 2 hours and ordered only a burger and drink. No service recovery at all — they even made an error on our bill which we had to get corrected resulting in more waiting
The ranch was way too sweet, who wants sweet ranch?? Actually kind of ruined the food for us.
Steak was juicy, tender and hot but, again, sweet. Why is everything sweet here? I want a savory and salty steak! Not a fruity explosion steak and good ranch.
The food selection is abundant but this restaurant is great for the old cafeteria types. It’s old old old and atmosphere is horrible. The food matched the nursing home theme.
Twigs has always been a favorite for us since they opened in Rochester. Food is great and creative, if a little pricey. Overall, a great place to eat with a very flexible and interesting menu. Great to be back in the restaurant after so many months with no or very limited indoor dining. We did take out on many occasions from Twigs, but still so nice to be there in person.
Great attention to maintaining a safe, clean environment; always love the food and service at Twig's and today did not disappoint!
We tried the hot rock and it was awesome. I loved the pineapple sauce on pork. Malcolm was a great server and I'd recommend the restaurant on his service alone.
My friend & I had heard good things. We made a reservation at 12:30, when we arrived the hostess stated our table would be ready in 5mins and to wait in the lobby. 25mins pass, so we head up to the host stand asking how much longer as we have an appointment soon. They said that our table had been ready, no apology. After being seated, it took several minutes for a server to come over. Despite the wait, the server was friendly and the food was good.
I really enjoy this restaurant whenever I've at Mayo - the spiced ahi tuna wrap is my fav. The carrot cake is wonderful too!! My husband did the poke bowl and wasn't overly impressed - thought it was the rice (wasn't sticky like traditional poke bowl). Love that they have a great GF menu - sooooo impressed always!
I love this place! My girlfriend has Celiac Disease and let me tell you, this place is really special for her. She doesn’t have any other place that can make as much GF food as this place can. Thank you :)
Had a wonderful meal! They took special care to make sure my daughter’s food was prepared gluten free and the service was great.
We love this place for its gluten free dedicated kitchen. The staff is beyond knowledgeable.
I ordered the Gluten Free Big Twig Burger, which states, "pile of sliced pickles...creamy onion-pickle sauce." My burger had 3 pickles sitting on top of lettuce, tomato and onion beside the burger. No creamy onion-pickle sauce, no pile of sliced pickles. This is the same burger I order every time I eat at Twigs and this burger was nowhere near the same quality as previous burgers. I do not understand why. Has the ownership changed? I was very disappointed.
I was very impressed. First time here and it was a fine dining experience. Delicious food. Great service. If your sensitive to gluten they have all menu options for that.
The hot rock is so much fun and our food was delicious. I appreciate the large selection of gluten free offerings from beer to dessert. The staff was all exceptionally friendly and helped to ensure my 8 year old was enjoying his time in the restaurant by engaging with him as much as they did with me.
Was somewhat disappointed. I’ve heard good things about this place. Food was nothing spectacular and the service was lacking. Would try again to try something different and give it another chance.
We sat outside and it was 30°. But we could take our masks off and it was lovely next to the fire pit. The food was good but it got cold quickly. Nobody’s fault of course. Our server was excellent. We had a delightful time and felt very safe.
Good bar/restaurant in hotel. Menu has some unusual features (you can cook on hot rocks at the table) as well as burgers and more serious entrees. Slightly understaffed.
Truly outstanding cuisine and exceptional service. Lovely inside in winter with their fireplace. Cannot wait for Spring to enjoy the most beautiful outdoor patio in Rochester!
We loved it! Amazing gluten free food! We will definitely be back
Food was excellent. Good vegetarian options beyond salads and veggie burgers was also a welcome treat.
Great place, great service, great food and it was all gluten free!
Great food, good ambiance and staff are all nice and competent
We’ve eaten at Twigs many times. My wife has Celiac and we have grown to trust that the chef’s will prepare great tasting food that is gluten free. They also have a nice selection of wines and beers and well prepared mixed drinks.
Warm and inviting. Best service
Nice place. Looking forward to it warming up and sitting outside. The waitress, Anna, was very nice and very helpful. Food was good. We will be back.
This is our go to spot for date night. As someone who loves to cook, I love the hot rock option for my steak, and is what I order every time. My wife enjoys the pasta dishes, and orders the extra option of steak so I cook a little for her as well, very nice to have this option.
Friendly staff, reasonable prices, good ambience and just nice all around place to have dinner. Oh, probably THE best Old Fashioned we've ever had as well.
I have been a Celiac for 20 years and this is by far the best restaurant I have dined at for my gluten free diet! We stayed in the Centerstone Hotel for one week and ate at Twigs each day. The options are endless and I was worry free about cross contamination because they have a dedicated kitchen for preparing gf meals. I will always choose this hotel when in Rochester just to be so close to Twigs.
We cooked our own food on the hot rock which was wonderful, the restaurant itself was very clean quiet very welcoming.
My concerns we were greeted by a hostess that looked like she had just climbed out of bed sloppy sweater hair was a mess, we were seated to our table there we waited 10 minutes before anyone came to us. Finally we went up to the desk and asked the hostess if we were going to get a waiter or waitress? She asked where did you get seated or answer to her was you seated us. Someone finally showed up very standoffish. Apologize for keeping us waiting comped our drinks . Which was nice but not necessary. She also looked very sloppy yoga pants black sloppy Twig’s T-shirt. I am just very disappointed in the way the staff dresses and locks we go out to a nice restaurant for a wonderful meal we are dressed appropriately it’s a special occasion and I think our restaurant staff has forgotten that common rule cleanup be presentable yoga pants are for the gym Running around town doing errands. Not for fine dining restaurants. Our food was really good we could get our self on the hot rock and it was delicious just disappointed in the staff.
My friends and I were asked to leave prior to us being ready to leave. We were told that the table was needed.
